I'd not heard of Tiltbrush art until I saw a Sky Arts programme last night - absolutely amazing , it looks so free and fun to express your art like this in 3D , I would love to learn this new form of art

Hello Gaby! Did you ever get to explore this amazing art form? I have been 'playing' with my 'PSVR' or Play Station virtual reality for about a year now. If you are interested you can probably get a Play Station Plus at a good price right now as Sony will be introducing the PS5 in time for Christmas 2020. As it is, expect to pay around 1000$ or so to start your system. Of course, with the PSVR you do not need a big TV. The headset is your viewer. It's great fun and in these times it is a welcome diversion. Cheers, Gaby, be safe! ✅💚

I've recently bought an Occulus Quest 2 for 350€, then Tilt Brush for 20€. For nothing more than that, you can start creating an infinite amount of things.
There a lot of awesome tutorials on TH-cam that can help you going through that "I suck at this" moment.
Seriously. Go ahead and get one if you can. It's seriously worth it !!

Hi, I'd like to know what you used to record the painting in VR from such nice perspectives?

They used another headset/controller as a camera

It’s mixed reality, I can’t quite explain it so go look it up, but basically it’s using special cameras in front of green screens.

Hi Victoria. It's made using a virtual reality headset and controls. They have been around for quite some time now and will be coming into their own soon with the upcoming Sony PS5 which will be available this Christmas. I have one with my PS4 and we call it the PSVR - Play Station virtual reality. This 'game' is the best one I've played with so far. You have a Move controller in either hand and a head-set on your head connecting you to your PS4. One hand holds the palette the other holds the brush and away you go. The controls are simple to use and you can go little or you can go large but every time you put paint to paper as it were you apply a line of light that you can view from all angles. Your whole work of art can be explored from every angle. It's as amazing as it is immersive as it is fun. I love my PSVR and in these present times you can have a lot of fun and kill a few hours.

You don't need special cameras like some people have said but you do need a green screen or green sheet, really any color as long as its solid and a camera
This guy goes into detail on how-to set it up

Is it possible to download other peoples art because I suck at drawing.

Yes when you have Tilt Brush you can view other peoples sketches, Theres also another VR game called Color Space which is baiscally a virtual coloring book :) It has premade sketches that you can just color in, id recommended checking out a trailer for it. Its a different concept than Tilt Brush, but I have a lot of family members that really enjoy and prefer Color Spaces over Tilt Brush because you dont need to be an artist to enjoy coloring :)

Oh and with Tilt Brush when you view their sketches you can add or take away from the image. So you can add your own flare to an already made sketch
