Our food company tried the Thermo metal detectors and we have been extremely disappointed. We replaced them all. The marketing might be slick, but don't get stung by these sharks!
You are so right! We have had this installed for up to 3years now and it has never worked well at all. Presently it's malfunctioning ejecting free flowing products intermittently after several calibrations.
Thanks for the reply. I work in the production area, management went with another supplier and the move has gone well (the new machines are great), so I doubt this is something that will be revisited. In hindsight, my comment was overly harsh. Yes, things went badly but Thermo did try to resolve things professionally, just not to our satisfaction.
