Oh I do, don't worry 😉 I was just trying to be prepared and keep my hands clean when I had to scoot a pup over. It was her first litter and she kept sitting on the pups when delivering a new one. 😀

@@minidachshundsofneayou did Exactly as you should. Especially the first litter!!!! Soooo many puppies have died because mom squished them not realizing. Don’t listen to these TH-cam know it alls. God complex

This Lady(“Lady’s” Owner) Had To Be On Hand While Lady Was In Labor.It Was Her Very First Litter & Sometimes Dogs Can Be Unpredictable In Their Behaviour When Giving Birth.My Dog (Rest In Peace “Kapu🦮”)Tried To Bite Me Each Time I Attempted To Sanitize,Weigh,Place In Feeding Position & Tried To Reassure Her That I Was Here For Her.But She Kept Growling & Trying To Bite Me.I Knew Something Was Wrong And After About 45 Minutes The Second Pup Only Made Their Descent Halfway Out Of The Birth Canal,The Other Two Were Stillborn Inside Of Her.Long Story Short,She Had Septicemia & Had To Be Hospitalized.I’m So Glad I Was There To Observe & Help Her,And I Applaud “Lady’s Momma” For Being There To Help Comfort,Support & Assist “Lady”.She Did EVERYTHING Right & Thank God She Was There,Or There Might Have Been A Smothered Pup Or Two.Blessings To “Lady” & ALL Of Her “Family “.
