    Zara is originally from Spain, so yes, we have it in Europe :)
    I love the way you treat your exchange students like they're really part of the family from day one, I'm sure for the right kids (meaning, them liking the way you guys live at 110% all the time!) it must be a blast staying with you!

    I can really agree with the garden talk. We have a lot of gardens in our yard, and we have an apple, pear, and plum tree. Our plants are very tall, and the gardens are dense so it's really hard to get through, but the fruit, and vegetables are better than from the store.

      @@AprilandDaveyVlogs Yep!! Much bettg because it's probably organic and doesn't have any strange chemicals in the produce to make it biggg. It's good having a large garden, although our gardens look more like a big jungle, it's really hard finding my cat. Love your family!

    If you want to get a lot of eggs, try mixing the chicken feed with crushed egg shells and potato peels. I use to live briefly on a farm in Upstate NY and we had 27 chickens and some local farmers told my dad about that and we ended up getting so many eggs that we didn't know what to do with them. Some of them were double yoked.

    Zade is actually correct, they’re totally free to take because they come without money on them, if you decided in 2 weeks time after taking it you want to put money on them then they just scan it and then you pay for the money that’s on there. I think you should’ve believed your son and not embarrassed him in front off the exchange student and public.

      I'm really not sure about that after doing some research and talking to a couple managers from stores. The card has to be activated to leave the store because only that store can activate it. Also the store has to pay the company a certain fee when they order them, to pay for making them. Although I agree with April that I would ask that they take it back, I think that I wouldn't do it publicly (especially on the vlog).

    How do you make the German pancakes

    • @mindyvanhorn3199
      @mindyvanhorn3199 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      6 eggs, 1 cup Whole or 2 percent milk, 1 cup flour, blend together. Heat oven to 425 F, in a 9x13 pan melt one stick of Butter. The pan and butter need to be hot, pour the pancake batter over the butter, bake until Golden brown on the edges. (Make sure the ingredients of the mix are mixed well with electric heaters, it works better!

    • @Hanna-sc4ts
      @Hanna-sc4ts 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to make authentic German pancakes, mix eggs, milk and flour until you create a thin batter (thinner than cake batter) and drizzle a bit of oil into a heated pan on the stove. Pour in a thin layer until the bottom of the pan is covered and flip it when the batter has tiny holes in it (this may require some practicing as the pancake will be very floppy). Serve with strawberry jam, powdered sugar, apple sauce or Nutella for a great German experience. By the way, the pancake should look like a french Crêpe just a little bit thicker, but big and round. It’s also made on the stove, not in the oven and with a lot less butter/oil than the „German pancakes“ in the video. Hope you enjoy the authentic version!

    • @vickytaylor9155
      @vickytaylor9155 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      German pancakes have added sugar and are served with fruit, where as a Yorkshire pudding is cooked in oil or beef dripping and served with roast beef and vegetables. German pancakes are normally cooked in butter. Sometimes on the hob. Sometimes in the oven. Yorkshire puddings are done in a tin (sometimes called popovers in other countries).
