  • Kevin Durant is one of the most skilled and talented basketball players of our generation. Known for his incredible scoring ability, he is also a master of the crossover move. A crossover is a dribbling technique used to change direction and leave a defender behind. Durant's crossovers are so smooth and effortless that it's hard to believe he's even doing it. In this video, we're going to take a look at some of his best crossovers and break them down so you can see why they're so effective.
One of Durant's most iconic crossovers is the one he used to leave Toronto Raptors' defender, DeMar DeRozan, in the dust during the 2013-2014 season. Durant starts off with the ball in his right hand and begins to dribble towards DeRozan. As he approaches, he quickly changes direction and crosses the ball over to his left hand. DeRozan is caught off guard and tries to reach in, but Durant easily blows by him for an easy layup.
Another one of Durant's best crossovers came during the 2014 NBA Finals against the Miami Heat. In this play, Durant is being guarded by LeBron James, one of the best defenders in the league. Durant starts off with the ball in his left hand and begins to dribble towards James. As he approaches, he fakes a move to the left, causing James to bite. Durant then quickly crosses the ball over to his right hand and blows past James for a layup.
Durant's crossovers are not only effective, but they are also elegant and beautiful to watch. He has an incredible sense of timing and knows just when to make his move. He also has great ball control and is able to execute the crossover with precision and accuracy.
In conclusion, Kevin Durant is an amazing basketball player and his crossovers are a testament to his skill and talent. If you want to improve your own crossover, studying his moves and trying to emulate them is a great way to start. Thanks for watching!
