He's one of the top five greatest country singers ever.
This is one of my favorite songs.... I wish Darrell would sing a few of my songs...
It's very simple---Darrell McCall is one of the best singers ever.
Darrell is one of the best. True Country! Nothing like what is offered now!
Darell McCall is one of the best TOP TEN SINGERS IN COUNTRY MUDIC TODAY, and always has been..........Wished we had YOU TUBE BACK IN THE EARLY DAYS of Darell and Willie and Ray Price and of course Faron, They will always be the best, NO ONE CAN MATCH THE VOCALS of these guys.............
Great Country Video.
No one does Dreamers of a Dreamer with the heart and soul like Darrell Thank you always . Beau Shandy and I miss youall from the bottom of are hearts Best to you and your family in 2016 Colleen Brown
Although he sounds great in this classic video, IMO, the older he gets the better his voice sounds. Thanks for posting.
God Bless,
Jeff :-)
Now that's country music!!!
Darrell does this song so well I really like all his songs, one of the best out there.
LOVE THIS MAN, MY IDOL IN THE 80'S. Saw him in Hallettsville TX several times with Mom and Dad. They're both gone away now, I presume on the road to "Daddy's Dreams".... I heard he played Bass for Johnnie Bush...
❤ Darrells songs and that is still doing it😂
Found this one in a drunkin' stumble on TH-cam, the west bay to findem'. Lol 🥴👍
Super Super !!!!!( from Sweden )
He is a favorite of mine!
Darrell McCall - has a beautiful voice and a very nice man. We opened for him / backed him a few times at the Cowgirl Club in Victoria, Texas. Very nice guy. Very talented - Straight Country~!
What a voice!!!!
Absolutely fabulous!
Such good dancing music.
love this song
For a Saskatchewan music program, I can't figure out why we never heard of this program next door in Manitoba until 30 years later!
Good question. In Winnipeg at least, if you had a good radio, you could pick up Bobby Darren's Midwest Country from Minnesota.
Darrell does the best cover ever on this song .
Any idea who did the original? Hard to beat Darrell's version.
@@TheFishdoctor1952 My friend, David (Jug) Brown wrote this for Darrell. He was the first to record it. Gene Watson also did a good job on it.
Great band backup behind Darrell. PA musicians Prairie Fire . You would not expect such talent from Sask guys. mosrite60

We love u Darrell from Howard Knighten and his wife
I love this song by Darell but my favorite is "After Texes
Love Darrell's singing ever since he started out as "Tennessee Tenor" with Ray Price's Cherokee Cowboys. Still prefer that traditional harmony rather than a three girl group or a full chorus outnumbering the lead. Even George Jones used three gal backup in his later years of live shows, however, so I guess it's a lost tradition. When Doyle Wilburn passed on and Teddy carried on solo, that was about the end.
hops he sounds the same now in the year 2015. darrel

He is a good singer. Sorry I don't want to upset anyone but I like Gene Watson's version better.
Several people have mentioned Gene Watson and isn't it fun that Gene Watson and Darrell McCall are my top 2 country artists ever. And, yes, in 2024, 2 months away from 2025, they are still my 2 country artists. Keep up the super jobs guys.
Good but still can't beat Gene Watson!
Nobody can beat Gene Watson!
I love Gene Watson but I Darrell beats Gene on this one .
I have to respectfully disagree. Darrell owns this song. Maybe if I had heard Gene's version first, I might possibly like his better.. I really like both singers equally.
Gene Watson version is far better b
