my interpretation on Geto's descent; Geto was horribly exploited by Jujutsu Society. Gojo & Geto essentially having to be apex super soldier cops at a young age since they were both Special Grade..... The difference being Gojo being strongest sorcerer,.. while Geto's ability meant he was left in the dust. When you compound the Star Religious groups sins, Geto points to non-sorcerers as his absurd 'Final Solution'.... but in reality it's an impossible task. And it's something he wouldn't of been exposed to if he had a powerful teacher to protect & guide him... Gojo realizes Geto is really just lashing out on the corruption going & decides to tackle Jujutsu Society head on. And it's why he focuses on teaching the new generation, so they won't be exploited like that.... which is easier said than done. But, atleast Yuta & Yuji have avoided execution thanks to him.
I think the biggest difference from Geto to Gojo is that Gojo was always honest about his negative emotions so he could process it better (plus being one of the strongest Jujutsu sorceres helps lol). With the foresight that Geto goes bad it always seemed to me like he was trying to convince himself that helping the weak was the right thing to do((Himiko even says he has the face of a liar when they meet), while Gojo just did what he wanted to do and talked openly about having the want to kill people, so with all these "little" things piling (he even learns that Himikos death was pretty much for nothing since another vessel would be available anyway) he came to the point where he snapped and made his decision based on his unprocessed negative emotions. And, oh, boy, here we go for part 2 of the season, things are gonna be interesting!
Geto was so close to Gojo that despite of getting a kill order from the higher ups against Geto.... Gojo desperately avoided Geto and his wrong-doings for more than a decade, until they met in Jjk 0... Even u can see there he sent Panda and Inumaki there instead of going himself to confront him....💔💔💔
This episode is Geto at rock bottom, looking for answers and finding them in the people around him. Haibara's last conversation with Geto he tells him "It feels really good to be able to give my all to something I can actually do." Geto's last conversation where he is finally looking better he says, "I've decided how I'll live my life. Now it's just a matter of doing the best I can to achieve that." He find a way to live from his friend who was always smiling.
i think when Yuki told Geto that another vessel has been found (so quickly at that) for Tengen, it got to him even more because essentially Riko was killed for nothing
Gosh this episode always gets me! Really such a fantastic little arc! I figure this is as good a spot as any to mention this since the scene was in this episode: So in a recent QnA with the mangaka Gege Akutami, he revealed that in the original draft of the scene Gojo and Geto part ways his ending line there was "If you want to kill me, kill me. I wouldn't mind if it were by your hand, but make sure mine is the only life you take". Which is SO heartbreaking to me ;;;;. It is also pretty in line with how Geto accepted his loss at the end of the JJK 0 movie in that conversation he had with Gojo.
When Gojo says for Megumi to get as strong as him, I feel there could be a couple meanings. Like I wonder if seeing Geto go that route made Gojo wonder if he ever did go bad, would there be someone who could stop him..? Or did he think that part of what went wrong with Geto was his weakness in a way? And when he was saying he is only strong enough to save someone that is ready to be saved, does he think Megumi could be strong enough to save even more people? I wonder what Gojo is thinking there.. a lot of deep thinking from the Honored One Gojo
In hindsight he probably just meant get strong enough to not rely on me. Since if sukuna is not reincarnated and gojo becomes evil, there’s objectively no one that can actually stop him, and also megumi’s potential as high as it is, is not high enough to be on par with gojo specifically

Geto's last conversation where he is finally looking better he says, "I've decided how I'll live my life. Now it's just a matter of doing the best I can to achieve that." He find a way to live from his friend who was always smiling.
Geto and Gojo are basically the modern day Sensui and Yusuke, and I'm here for all of it.
nah they’re literally Professor X and Magneto they even almost have the same issues
@@Akira_mp4 nah they are totally like ancient times "insert meme here" and i love it.
Tears in my satosugu eyes
I have never clicked on a video this fast
10:25 lmaooo
i think when Yuki told Geto that another vessel has been found (so quickly at that) for Tengen, it got to him even more because essentially Riko was killed for nothing
It is also pretty in line with how Geto accepted his loss at the end of the JJK 0 movie in that conversation he had with Gojo.
niiiiiice reaction.
its heart broking 💔
so sad that when he wakes up you see that he was crying in his sleep remembering the past. (hes eyes were puffy)
She wasn't the first to push Geto into the wrong path... you have to remember Gojo's question to him when he retrieved the vessel's body.
Geto felt alone too. They were strongest together then gojo became the strongest. That loneliness and trauma did him in.
i love to watch people regreting about hating on geto
Still so sad that him and gojo were gonna take her home if she didn't want to and even fight the whole jujutsu world to let her have a life
sad facts about jjk #8324: phase 2 geto is wearing yukata with a kesa and this kesa has different types, geto's one is called gojo-kesa :"(
A very well done arc... unfortunately overshadowed by all the madness of Shibuya😂.
Speaking of Shibuya... let's gooo!🔥
its time to emotional rollercoaster ladies. season 2 starts now...
My boy Suguru 😢
Hunter x Hunter, Full Metal, Death Note, and Haikyuu gonna go crazy
It one of heart broke ep . They one of my fav friend ❤️

imo best arc in the whole anime
遠藤綾さんの演技で硝子さんの夏油への「なんで(why)?」に少しだけ怒りが滲んでるのが好きなんだけど字幕じゃ伝わりづらそう

his plan absolutely sucked
people often blame Yuki but all she was doing was explaining her feelings and what was or wasn't possible. in the end he chose those feelings to kill non sorcers.
