lol I guess I'll try my hand at a little POV... Some weeks ago you received a letter from a mysterious count, inviting you to visit his castle in a small duchy located in a distant land. It was all quite strange, but you couldn't resist the beckoning of curiosity. You traveled for many days and arrived in the dead of night, ushered up long flights of stairs in the lord's grand castle by servants whose faces were pale and drawn. They brought you to a dim study. They left, and you didn't see anyone else in the room, but the hairs on the back of your neck stood up. A figure melted from the shadows. Finally, you are standing before the man who summoned you. His face was cold, sharp. He was likely very handsome once, but time and tragedy had twisted his features into something sinister. He smiled, showing a glimpse of uncommonly sharp teeth. "I am glad to see you found your way to me." "Likewise," you said, the corners of your mouth turning up with discomfort rather than joy. Your eyes were beginning to adjust to the low light, and more details of the study were becoming clear. You spotted a long line of portraits on the far wall, behind the Count. "You must be curious as to why I have invited you here," said the Count. His cadence was awkward, antiquated. "The only reason I came this far was because of my curiosity," you admitted. "I would enjoy having it sated." He moved closer to you, taking in a deep breath through his nose. You had to fight off the feeling he was smelling you, taking in your scent. "I have a feeling many tastes will be sated tonight." You started to back away as a chill spread throughout your body. "It's quite late. I ought to turn in for the night." That row of portraits stood out to you once more. Each image bore a strange resemblance to one another, be the subject female or male. Most of all, they all bore a strong resemblance...to you. "It always takes me so long to find you again," the count said. He reached out a hand, more withered than you remembered it being, with longer, dirtier nails. "I try so hard not to scare you. But can I blame you for being afraid, when I look this way?" His skin had grayed, the area around his eyes darkened. The eyes themselves were pits. You stumbled over yourself trying to get away. "I don't understand what you're saying," you told him, but he didn't stop moving towards you. "All these centuries, it has always been you. And every time, I try to resist, I try to remember what our lives were, before," he said. His hands, now claws, closed around your arms, pulling you towards him. You were powerless in the force of his grip. Your vision dimmed and blurred as ice-cold fangs pierced your neck. The cycle ended that night, and would soon begin anew.

Pov: As the sky grew more and more bleak, you decide to go to the local bakers for some dinner. Grabbing a lantern, some money and a dagger, you walk out your backdoor into your garden. Only, it feels as if someone is watching you. No, *something* was watching you. A little creeped out, you decide to make it a brisk walk instead of the lazy stroll you were hoping for. Walking through the dirt path in the woods never felt more deserted. It was almost as if all the woods creatures had just...vanished. The trees blocking the moon weren't helping the scary atmosphere. Nearing the end of the path, you start to see speckles of moonlight on the ground in front of you. 'How pretty", you thought. Until you noticed something peculiar. The moonlight was shining it's bright light on large patches of blood. Suddenly an gushing feeling of dread washed over you. You stepped back, almost tripping on a twig behind you. Stumbling a little, you take another step back. And another. And another. Until you can't anymore. Something was blocking your way. Slowly turning your head around, you see figure towering over you, and two blood red eyes staring back at yours. Fin

P.O.V. : The way the ball had turned out you wouldn't believe that it had once been a dusty room full of shadows that went bump in the night. But who could help but to turn up at the Count's request? The villagers who seemed most afraid of the castle were dancing serenely. Almost as if in a trance, but that would be silly... wouldn't it? You look up to the balcony and a man stared down at you, his red suit matching his drink. Crimson like blood.

Yesterday I was listening to this while reading in my armchair as the sun was beginning to set. It honestly felt magical, almost surreal. The vibes are incredible. This is one of my favorite playlists now, thank you for this :)
Vampires are interesting, that's why I dream of a scenery of finding mansion across far away from where we are, and seeing a vampire there, greeting you and I with their smile having fangs sticking out. We are welcomed by them and became house guest for the rest of night and have fun there with the vampire.

This is the backstory of a character I was inspired to create by this music. It's a bit lengthy but if you stick around to read it, I hope you like it. Note: Some names used in this story are Romanian so they have a different pronunciation: Sylvia = Syl - vee - ah Diana = dee - anne - ah Ian = Yan (not ee - an) Barcani = Bar - chani Turbăria = Tur - beh - reeh - ah Ruginosu = Ruh- jee - nos - ú Born and raised in the Transylvanian mountains by a high elven couple, Syliva spent her early years living in a small hut in Barcani with her mother, Diana, and father, Ian. She was a single child though, mostly raised by her mother while her father made sure to evade all duties and instead spend his time mindlessly drinking nights away. Meanwhile Sylvia’s bond for her mother grew, she started to grow in hatred of her father and his absence. Around the town stretched the forbidden forest, Turbăria Ruginosu, where entry was strictly forbidden even for the most fabled of hunting squads. A forest of which Sylvia was told stories of night after night. Stories of the terrible fiends that patrolled the nights and vampiric ghouls that savagely feast on children like her. Her parents always had a tough relationship due to her father’s constant negligence of his parental responsibility and lust for the young life he no longer has. This caused frequent conflict between the troubled parents and fights were all but rare. However, one October night, Sylvia’s father arrived late from the pouring rain with a swing to his dizzy stride. Though it had not been the first, Diana made sure this night was the last. And so she snapped at the drunken man with the motive to drive him away from the house and rid Sylvia and herself of the burden he proposes. However, oblivious to the fact his forsaken daughter was silently observing their clash, Ian lifted his inebriated hand and lashed at the distressed mother, indeed, making said fight the last.
Diana sank beside her mortified daughter, who stood frozen watching her mother’s lifeless eyes stare aimlessly into the air. Grabbing only the pocket watch gifted by her beloved mother and a mind full of loathe and grief ignited by her miserable father, young Sylvia darted through storms into the twisted and forbidden woods; the tricksy paths laden with twists and turns in all directions, spiralling uncontrollably throughout the distorted trees and branches that towered over the gloomy meadow. As the young girl strolled along the mysterious plane, she found herself lost inside the wicked woods, charged with fear and shock. And so young Sylvia rested her head against a stray pine log and gazed at the starry veil-like sky of the unforgiving night, letting go of all her hope and setting herself down upon the frigid floor. However, a pale hand stretched from the darkness, its inky nails curled around her shoulder with a freezing touch before she could fall and silently raised her to her feet. Before her stood a slim shadow cloaked in charcoal robes which palled its sinister figure and masked it in the darkness. Its face was illegible, yet an ominous glow of crimson smouldered in the dark mist around its eyes. ‘Come, troubled child. You are safe now.’ hummed a foul, yet comforting voice as its host towered over Sylvia with an air of sophistication. Sylvia, remembering the stories her mother told, fearfully held the hand of the being and followed it deeper towards the heart of the forbidden forest, burning to inquire who it is she is following. At the arrival upon an ancient castle, the gates opened with haste as soon as they approached and welcomed them in with an unexpected warm atmosphere of safety and nurture. Upon stepping into the mystifying palace, the voice speaks again. “Troubled child, you have come far from home tonight. Your bravery is potent.” It pauses before speaking again. “My name is Victoria, and this is my home. It will now be yours too.” “Why have you brought me here?” she faltered hopelessly with unorthodox images of the stories she was told, clenching Victoria’s frigid hand with distress. “Have I done something wrong..?” “You have been hurt, child. But fear not, for my family means not to harm you. Join us for dinner Sylvia, you are one of us.” As Sylvia sat beside the vampire queen at the regal table, she cast her eyes upon the vast hall, occupied by brothers and sisters together. All full of fangs that hung fiercely from their jaws, unnaturally pallid skin and burning embers in their eyes. However, before she could comprehend the size of the feast, she felt a sharp pain on the side of her neck. A stream of claret blood cascaded down her shoulder as Victoria’s eyes met hers, “You are one of us now.” She croaked, allowing Sylvia’s foggy mind to faint to the marble floor into a sleep so deep. This was not the end however, as Sylvia awakened on a noble bed in an ill-lit room. But this was the least of her worries as upon sight of a mirror, she could not comprehend the absence of her reflection. If only poor little Sylvia knew who she was now. How her emerald eyes were thronged with a ruby glow, her lips a deep maroon. Her skin was no longer tan, but whiter than the finest bleach and her power limitless. But she was not scared, not one bit. For she knew she had now found her home, and at last, she could rest. And so years passed since Sylvia’s turn, she now grew older, wiser, and more powerful in the vampire’s castle. But she was not the only thing that grew, so did her deep hatred for her iniquitous father. As the isolated castle became her home, she learned the vampire ways and adopted the marginalised lifestyle of her new family, though, one mission remained uncompleted. Ian must bleed. Hey I'm gonna make a story lol so uhh- prepare for unprofessional writing and cringe lines lmao- BUT, before I start, Y/N is Genderless lol can be girl or boy so yah You were riding in your carriage as you pass in a long, empty road. With houses on the side that looks like it had been abandoned for years. They were full of vines and cobblestones. But maybe they just look like that. The wind was very cold. Even if the window on the carriage was closed along with it's curtain covering it. You were freezing. And so you decided to take a peek and opened the curtain a little. Fogs are everywhere. But still, you can see just the shadows of the houses and the forests behind them. You looked at your Horseman, and said.. "Are we almost there, Luden?" Luden then said.. "Almost, My Lady/Lord." You were relieved to hear that you were almost there to your destination. And so you sat back to the small fluffy chair and yawned. You are a Duke's daughter/son. Well, mostly adopted. But they loved you for all their heart. You were feeling regretful at first, but then changed your mind. They were kind. And lovingly caring. You had a elder sister, who is a bit cold... But is extremely loving towards you. And an even older brother. Who will protect you if anything ever happens. Well, that was just years ago. You are now 18. And you are now in a marriageable age. Though you didn't had that kind of interest, it was still kinda interesting to think about it. On where you will marry and you would look in a wedding dress/suit. But after thinking about Marriage, the carriage stopped suddenly. "Ah!" You were frightened. What could have possibly happened? You asked Luden. Your horseman. "E-everythings alright... My Lady/Lord. Hopefully..." You decided to peek and go outside. But you were stopped immediately by Luden. "A-ah... Stop! My Lord/Lady!" You stopped in a flinch. You were confused. And decided to look at the back window. "What's happening, Luden? Why won't you let me out to check what happened..." "A-ah... I... I'll go check for it myself, My Lady/Lord." You felt concerned. Even though he won't be in the Dukedom that much... Whenever you go out, he would always be there to play with you. And talk with you for some time. It was when he was still on his 30's. Now he is in his 40's. Almost to be on 50's to be exact. He has been working on the Dukedom for more than 10 years. He was well known as a kind and loveable old man. I, on the other hand... Agree to it also. The servants there are also kind and thoughtful. Also quick-witted. They could sense if the atmosphere isn't right. Which is very impressive for them to know and have. Now, let's go back. Luden then stepped off the trot (?) And walked out. You waited. And waited. .... You were beginning to feel nervous. Where could Luden have been? And where did he go? Did he got lost? You thought to yourself... ".... Alright. I'm a grown up now. I'll check it for myself!" Feeling big and brave, you step out of the Carriage. "Ah! *Coughs*" It was unusually empty and eerily peaceful on the stony road. You looked around. Luden isn't there wherever you looked. "Luden?" You called out and shouted for his name. Nobody answered. Only the sounds of the cold breezes passing by. "Achoo!" You started to sneeze. Just where could have Luden possibly go? You became even more concerned. "I can't leave this carriage here all alone though..." You are unsure of what to do. You never know what this road was. Or what village name or street this was. It was odd. But you shrugged it off. But now, Bad feelings then start to swarm around you. But as stubborn you can be, you shrugged it off. And you walked towards a small road where there is a fountain. An abandoned fountain, of course. You roamed around after that. Calling for Luden. "Luden? Luden!" You kept on shouting. Still, no one answered. Until there were footsteps behind you. You felt shivers down your spine... "Lu... Den?" You turned around... And saw... This just makes me really want to own a house with a ballroom. It would be so nice to be in that kind of setting and to have something like that for like parties or something. Great playlist! Here's a lil POV for ya. Here I stand, my feet remain positioned, yet my eyes dart back and forwards across the room. They catch a curtain, hung about six meters high and I let my eyes travel down to where the end of the bundle of fabric lay strewn out on the flooring of the ballroom. A ballroom in the early 1900s is definitely not where I thought I would see myself in the last week. Young women in vibrant coloured Victorian ballgowns, red, pink, green and blue all float around in front of me. Dancing. Accompanying them, young men in tuxes, ties and tails guide their hands in a waltz, while a rhythmic song fills the room. As for me, layers upon layers cover me, even so, the cool breeze makes its way to where I stand, and a couple of windows are open. I would not want to show indecency by removing any of my clothing since no one else appears to do the same. The corset around my waist, crushing each of my ribs is so tight that I am reminded of it with each breath that I take. Next is a thin underdress that I thought completed the outfit, until I was fitted with a gorgeous bright red ballgown. I see only a few others from where I stand. Where is he? My eyes now sift through faces of the crowd in search of the one I must meet. Were we not meant to meet next to the giant platter of fish that is now infiltrating my nose, just like the note had said? Maybe he is too afraid. Maybe he has changed his mind and has left. The thought of this floods me with disquiet. I do not wish to be here by myself, I think, however, I could just leave also. “Excuse me, Miss?” My head jolts, my ears shocked to hear a voice. The eyes are what I first notice in a person and mine are met with those of brilliant emerald green. A man, a foot taller than I stands before me, fixed gaze and arm outstretched with a smile, he almost bows. “Would you care to dance?” I feel the heat being drawn to my cheeks, dancing has never been a talent of mine, except everyone in the room makes it look easy and since I have been watching for quite a while… “Of course,” I say, taking his hand smiling. The young man nods his head and leads me onto the floor of the dancers. My heart pounds within my chest as I try to not step on any shoes. At last, through twirling dresses, we come to a stop in the middle of the ballroom. My left hand still in his right, he still smiles as his other hand starts slipping around my waist. This motion causes me to hesitate and flinch, so I pull away, only to realise the stupidity of my actions when I notice a wave of confusion cross his face, the smile dropping. I let him grab my waist. Luckily, we start out slow and he is able to guide me in a way that I can keep up. This gives me a chance to have a closer look at him. Blonde curls frame his heart shaped face. His skin looks to be almost as pale as a sheet of paper. His complexion resembles what looks to be a fairy, up turned nose, and eyes, piercing emerald green eyes. I must say he is very handsome, however, I do not recognise him, so he must not be the one I am looking for. His porcelain face transforms into a wince, and I realise I have stepped on his shoe. “Oh, I am so sorry!” I splutter out, heat racing to my cheeks. Embarrassment must be a prominent look on my face because he still smiles and says, “Do not worry about it, it happens all the time.” I manage to get out a little laugh. “Right.” It becomes awkward after a while, and eye contact I cannot keep, although he has maintained a fixed focus on me. “I must say,” he eventually says, “You are one of the most beautiful women that I have seen here tonight.” I have to swallow to give myself more time before coming up with an answer. This is all too new for me. I make sure to keep a poised expression. “Thank you.” I hope I do not say the wrong thing. We sway awkwardly for a while; except I am too distracted to pay attention. Continuously, the thought, I should be over by the fish, replays in my head. However, when I glance to the spot where I stood before, it looks quite empty. I decide to give up looking. To cure my disappointment, I cautiously try conversation. “May I ask for your name?” “Pleasure. Ainsworth, William Ainsworth.” I try looking him in his eyes, except seeing his pierce into mine, I cannot for more than a few seconds, every inch of my body wants to curl away from him. “Yours?” The pressure around my waist tightens and immediately I sense something is askew.
@@kendychaga5054 Part 2 - This is actually from a book i am writing at the moment :) I think quick. “Farley is my family name,” I say, “it is what I too go by.” I hope he cannot hear the metronome of my heart, as it is my name now. “Farley,” William repeats, still with a fixed gaze, “how would you like to accompany me out in the back garden?” A chill runs down my spine and my arms breakout in goosebumps. Suddenly a hand appears on William’s shoulder, someone has joined us. One quick look and it feels as though someone has shot me in the stomach, although I cannot help but smile. I know that face, it is him. “May I interrupt?” He says while his eyes meet mine. I look to William, and he does not appear too impressed, yet he nods and departs. A wave of relief washes over me like the first spring rain, cool and comforting. I am safe. “May I interrupt?” I repeat while smiling, mimicking what he has just said, “Cliche.” He turns a scarlet red, just like usual. “Where were you?” I decide to ask. “I was admiring my clothes.” He says this slowly and skeptically, and I can tell that it is not true. I raise my eyebrows. He chuckles, holding out his hand. “Well, shall we?” My knees become weak as I realise that he means to dance. “Are you sure S-,” “I feel you shall call me...” He interrupts, then pauses, “Emmett,” He finally says, almost in a whisper. Of course. Why had not I thought before I spoke. A feeling of foolishness surges through me. “Well then, Emmett,” I say, adding emphasis on the name, “perhaps you shall call me Violet.” “Alright, Violet,” Emmett says, “And to answer your question, don’t you think we need to fit in as much as required?” I can tell that he has also tweaked his voice to sound more proper, as have I. It is required yet somewhat slightly amusing. I nod and interlock my fingers with his and place my other hand on his shoulder. His hand does the same, however neither of them dare not go near my waist. “Out of everyone I know in my life, I never thought that I would be seeing you here.” Emmett says. For a second my heat drops as I get lost into his beautiful ocean eyes. “That I thought too,” I say, looking around, then adding, “this is quite amazing; is it not?” “Very, I keep forgetting why I am here.” He smiles, then it drops. “Have any ideas who we might be on the look-out for?” The question probes me, though it does not find an immediate answer. And as much as it confuses me, I attempt to reply anyway. “His name is William.” I motion my eyes towards where William now stands in the corner of the room, smiling intensely at an innocent looking girl. I lower my voice down to a whisper, “I strongly dislike that.” “Yes, it is quite suspicious.” Then his solemn face changes into a smirk and he laughs, shaking his head then shifts his gaze to the right. I realise, I have once again, stepped on something that is not the ground. “Sorry! Dancing is not my strongest point.” “I can see that.” Emmett smiles. Suddenly the music comes to a prompt stop, then everyone claps. “Perhaps we ought to talk outside?” I agree and start following him through the crowds of people to the deserted garden outside. We arrive in the garden, and I stop walking, becoming speechless. Because to the lowest degree, it is stunning. An arbour lined with hanging lanterns signals the entrance to a tunnel which looks to contain quite a few of these. Lit lanterns lead the way. As if I am being pulled by a rope, I continue down the path after Emmett. We pass under the arch of the arbour, with vines twisting, weaving, and cascading down around. Once we emerge out the other side, my eyes are delighted by other greenery, water fountains and rose bushes. More of the soft lanterns that cast a beautiful dim yellow shine, illuminate the path we walk on, seem to correspond satisfyingly with the theme of the garden. I stare up at the open night sky above and it mirrors the effect of a blue and purple mixed galaxy flicked with molten-gold paint. “How beautiful.” “Is it not?” Emmett continues to lead me down the path that seems to run down to an exquisitely lit circular gazebo. There is a long bench inside the gazebo. We sit down. The scent of sandalwood pleasures my nose. Weirdly, the sounds of crickets chirp in the silence that follows. “I am so curious to know,” I rush to break the stillness, “why you chose to do this.” Emmett looks at me like I am crazy. I grin. “I know! Silly question, how about…,” I try to think of another, “What fascinated you about this?” “Violet! How could I not?” He looks back down at his hands, which are twisting together, then gestures them in front of him. “I mean, look at this place, look how beautiful this garden is.” “I know.” I too, am staring out into the garden as I feel his gaze burn the side of my face. “Yes! And to answer your question, did you see inside? The rooms, the clothes, the people? It is truly extraordinary. I just had to.” Gorgeous words. And it is exciting to listen to them.
It's kind of late hour for me to have discovered this and I have to get up early for work tomorrow, but will make sure to get me some time tomorrow evening and have me listen to this, while having a nice supper accompanied by some good deep red wine and imagine myself being a vampire mistress having a glass of blood during the last hours of the night as it's passing its turn to early morning, relaxing herself while she's watching the colours of the dawn that start to form as the sun is slowly moving towards the surface of the earth. Of course, she will leave a few minutes before sunrise, since the sun would take her precious life away, besides, the brighter the day becomes the more her eyes feel like they're hurt by the sunrays approaching... But she wouldn't ever change that. The calmness and stilness of life during those hours, and then, all of a sudden, the chirping of the birds and all the sounds of nature slowly awakening, as if everything was shrouded under the veil of death but somehow managed to cast it off with the power of the distant sunlight. Even before her turning, this has since always been her source of peace and joy. Now, it's the best thing to do, right before withdrawing in the shadows to rest after a yet another night full of meeting with other vampires, hunting together and finding bits of their lost humanity by hanging out, sharing stories that would sometimes trace their trails centuries back. As a quite newcomer to their fields, she loved listening to these stories, learning from others' experiences, but she also needed some time to be on her own. And those times were the perfect ones for it. P.S.: Sorry if I'm wrong here and there, but English isn't my first language. Ok ok I'll do a little POV, please forgive me if I suck. Pov: You turned 24 this month, This is your first time traveling alone in a unfamiliar environment since you were born in a smaller city. You majored in business and accountancy and was recommended to go and work at the capital. You were happy going to the capital city with excitement all over you face until a thunderstorm suddenly appeared in broad daylight, therefore you rode the last flight. You have just arrived from a long journey, it's already midnight and there's no taxi. Good thing that you already booked a hotel however it's a few miles from the airport. You took your luggage and walked for 2 hours until you stumbled upon a dark alley. Suddenly you smell a hint of iron and fresh blood, you ignored it until you saw a black silhouette of a tall man choking a man. You secretly hide and took a peek, there you saw the man slashed his throat. you gasped as you saw him tasting the man's blood on his hand. He instantly looked towards your direction and stared at your eyes, like a predator aiming at his next prey. The cold air brushed your hair, your face turned pale. You accidentally got scratched from a broken glass, blood is flowing from your arm. The only thing you thought in that situation is to run as far as you can. Suddenly another man popped out of nowhere near the man who slashed the guy's throat. "Master, it seems that someone saw you kill that man, it has long hair so I think it's a woman-" The man smirked and touched your blood from the sharp glass that you were cutted. "Find her, and make you she shows up in front of me, untouched by another vampires or male humans. She shall be mine, only mine" "... Yes, master" Sorry I suck so bad •́ ‿ ,•̀

Warning: Bad grammar, typos, some stalker-ish behavior Y/N means your name You ran as fast as you can, bringing your luggage with you. After almost what felt like half an hour, you've arrived at your destination. Entering the hotel, you asked the reception where your room is situated You plopped to your bed, exhausted, and from what you saw. Taking a small warm shower and changing into your cozy choice of nightware, you slept on your bed peacefully. Deciding to arrange your things tomorrow after getting your energy back "So that's where she lives" One vampire servant mumbled, tracking you by the scent of your blood that stained the glass piece. Slowly entering your room window, he saw your sleeping form peacefully "If i touch her the slightest bit, boss will end me for sure. Now to get this job done..." He saw your left out opened luggage, and saw your clothes. Then your photos that were left out, three of them were on the table. The first one is your family, your friends, and yourself. 'Ah that smile, is this why master fell for her?' Silently taking the photo of you, he went outside to where he came from and fled from the hotel "Master...I have arrived with a valuable" the servant entered the gothic palace's gates. Greeted by the vampire you met on the streets, and the other servants standing each on the sides of pathway to his throne. ------------ It was morning, you decided to eat out instead of making food for yourself because you wanted to experience the day exploring this city and you spent the early morning arranging your belongings 'Dammit, where did i put that one photo? I thought i brought it with─' your thoughts were interrupted by the news on the cafe's TV placed above enough for the customers to see "A man was found dead this night, the police is investigating the crime scene. The man has a bite on his neck like every 30 previous victims..." "*sigh* Same old thing again" "Why can't the police believe us? It's obvious vampires exist" You heard two customers talk and you went up to them "Excuse me" they moved their attention to you "I heard you were talking about your theories about the news, may i ask what's actually happening in this city?" "So you're a newbie here huh, interesting. Well lady, this city has more secrets than meets the eye" The man spoke "Don't mind him, my friend is always like that. Anyway, the name's Mizuki, you can call me Mimi for short. This one here is Michael, he is my friend from New York" "Hello there, my name is Y/N. I'm from (insert whatever town you live in)" You sat by next to them. "Ah, so you're from the rural town in this nation. I'm actually from Japan, now that the introductions are finished─" she was cut off by Michael "You want to know about this city? We've studied here since college, that's how we met. Now we're staying here as workers. To tell you the truth, there's always victims with bites on their necks on the news. In other words, there's a vampire living among us" Michael sighed before taking a sip of his coffee. "It's true, everyone has the same thought. Vampires live amongst us. The media and government are just too prideful to believe us commoners, and think it's just some fairytale cliche. But it's already confirmed by how it goes" Mizuki said before taking a bite of her cheesecake "That gothic castle that are in the outskirts in the city? It's always suspicious, few people see it while the others pass by thinking it's another normal vacant cliff. But me and Mimi saw it, it's like... picking which people to see it." He said and you asked "What's up with the castle?" "Well, Mike theorized it's where the vampires of this city hide and dwell." She giggled "Mike?" You knitted your eyebrows and Michael's cheeks were red as a tomato "Mimi!" "Sorry, my bad~ I'm just used to call him that since sophomore year. But hey, you can call him that too" You spent most of your breakfast hours chatting With your new friends. Unaware of a vampire hearing it all. ・・・ Sorry if it's bad! Anyway, i actually live in a small town irl so when i read your pov, i actually felt like it's real bc i can relate to it alot. My goal is to go to a city or perhaps another nation for college (◍•ᴗ•◍)

This is perfect! I’m just about to start running some dnd for my family and decided to go with Curse of Strahd, so this all fits vampires and haunted castles and such so well! Thank youuuuuuuuu
Musically, this is a tour de force, taking in so many styles including classical (church) organ, waltzes and older dances - that delectable harpsichord/spinet sound (can't tell the diff, sorry!) etc, all with great sensitivity and atmosphere. Ultra-congrats on this fabulously dark/melancholy selection. The sun is shining outside as I write this, but I envisage dark clouds scudding across the sky glimpsed through the clutching branches of the blackened winter trees as a raven fixes me, quizzically, with its glittering eye...
You stand up from the chair you're sitting. You look around, searching for him. Thank God he's not here. You look out of the window, but you hear the door open. "I see you're better now" someone says. You turn around and see him lean against the door, with a smile on his face. "What do you want from me?" you ask. "I'm surprised that you don't know. Strange, because it's on you". You understand his meaning and cover your neck with your hands, as if to protect it. "Come on, my love. It doesn't hurt at all. It's actually a pretty good experience". He walks towards you, looking at your lips. You walk backwards, as he makes you feel uncomfortable. You lean against the wall, as you can't move further. He smiles and touches your cheek. You blush. He grabs you by the chin, and moves closer to you. Closer and closer. Now his body leans against yours. You are angry and scared, but, surprisingly, you enjoy it. He sees that you don't try to escape, so he ducks and kisses you. You are surprised but you like it. He clutches you in his arms, and you can't help but move your hand to hin soft hair. After a minute or two, he lets you go. You blush again and smile. You two hug. As you think that it's a little hot in here, you feel something on your neck. The next minute, you are not a human being anymore...
Here's a little drabble piece for you folks, enjoy :) Hunter paced quietly through the large entrance to the elaborate manor, a chill running down his spine. He almost jumped as the doors slammed shut behind him. He reminded himself what he was here for, or more accurately, who he was here for. He wasn't entirely certain if the rumours were true, but he knew he would be the one to get answers. The air grew ever colder as the wind blew through the trees outside. "My brother sent you, didn't he?" a voice came from somewhere above, so quiet, yet it echoed through the halls. "No, I came of my own accord," he called back, looking around to find the source of it. Nothing. A pause. "Then I apologise," the voice replied. "Apologise for what?" "For the fact you have no business being here, and now you're trapped here with me," "Just who are you? Show yourself!" Hunter yelled. "I am no one, just a man who hasn't eaten in a while," the voice said. "You're not making sense. Come down here, we'll talk face to face, I can offer a granola bar if it convinces you," he replied. "When you see my face, you'll already be dead. But you're not supposed to be here, so I will be fair. You have a minute to run, you can go anywhere in this place, just don't try the doors. They can't be opened from the inside," the voice reasoned. "What happens if you catch me?" he asked. Another pause. "When I catch you, I feed," the voice said, softer than before, as though they were uncertain. "So you're hunting me," he concluded. "And you're bleeding time. Your minute just started, get going and pray I don't find you," I hope you enjoyed this little snippet, what did you think? Some weeks ago you received a letter from a mysterious count, inviting you to visit his castle in a small duchy located in a distant land. It was all quite strange, but you couldn't resist the beckoning of curiosity. You traveled for many days and arrived in the dead of night, ushered up long flights of stairs in the lord's grand castle by servants whose faces were pale and drawn. They brought you to a dim study. They left, and you didn't see anyone else in the room, but the hairs on the back of your neck stood up. A figure melted from the shadows. Finally, you are standing before the man who summoned you.
His face was cold, sharp. He was likely very handsome once, but time and tragedy had twisted his features into something sinister. He smiled, showing a glimpse of uncommonly sharp teeth. "I am glad to see you found your way to me."
"Likewise," you said, the corners of your mouth turning up with discomfort rather than joy. Your eyes were beginning to adjust to the low light, and more details of the study were becoming clear. You spotted a long line of portraits on the far wall, behind the Count.
"You must be curious as to why I have invited you here," said the Count. His cadence was awkward, antiquated.
"The only reason I came this far was because of my curiosity," you admitted. "I would enjoy having it sated."
He moved closer to you, taking in a deep breath through his nose. You had to fight off the feeling he was smelling you, taking in your scent. "I have a feeling many tastes will be sated tonight."
You started to back away as a chill spread throughout your body. "It's quite late. I ought to turn in for the night."
That row of portraits stood out to you once more. Each image bore a strange resemblance to one another, be the subject female or male. Most of all, they all bore a strong resemblance...to you.
"It always takes me so long to find you again," the count said. He reached out a hand, more withered than you remembered it being, with longer, dirtier nails. "I try so hard not to scare you. But can I blame you for being afraid, when I look this way?"
His skin had grayed, the area around his eyes darkened. The eyes themselves were pits. You stumbled over yourself trying to get away.
"I don't understand what you're saying," you told him, but he didn't stop moving towards you.
"All these centuries, it has always been you. And every time, I try to resist, I try to remember what our lives were, before," he said. His hands, now claws, closed around your arms, pulling you towards him. You were powerless in the force of his grip. Your vision dimmed and blurred as ice-cold fangs pierced your neck. The cycle ended that night, and would soon begin anew.

Pov:
As the sky grew more and more bleak, you decide to go to the local bakers for some dinner. Grabbing a lantern, some money and a dagger, you walk out your backdoor into your garden. Only, it feels as if someone is watching you. No, *something* was watching you.
A little creeped out, you decide to make it a brisk walk instead of the lazy stroll you were hoping for. Walking through the dirt path in the woods never felt more deserted. It was almost as if all the woods creatures had just...vanished. The trees blocking the moon weren't helping the scary atmosphere.
Nearing the end of the path, you start to see speckles of moonlight on the ground in front of you. 'How pretty", you thought. Until you noticed something peculiar. The moonlight was shining it's bright light on large patches of blood.
Suddenly an gushing feeling of dread washed over you. You stepped back, almost tripping on a twig behind you. Stumbling a little, you take another step back. And another. And another. Until you can't anymore. Something was blocking your way. Slowly turning your head around, you see figure towering over you, and two blood red eyes staring back at yours.

The way the ball had turned out you wouldn't believe that it had once been a dusty room full of shadows that went bump in the night. But who could help but to turn up at the Count's request? The villagers who seemed most afraid of the castle were dancing serenely. Almost as if in a trance, but that would be silly... wouldn't it? You look up to the balcony and a man stared down at you, his red suit matching his drink. Crimson like blood.
I love gothic and dark waltzes. these melodies are beautiful and even mysterious. I really love these genres of music. thank you for the selection.

Me who's writing a story about Vampires at 2-3 am: ah yes perfect.
Vampires are interesting, that's why I dream of a scenery of finding mansion across far away from where we are, and seeing a vampire there, greeting you and I with their smile having fangs sticking out. We are welcomed by them and became house guest for the rest of night and have fun there with the vampire.
I swear the darkest melodies are the most beautiful...
On another note, I have several vampiric OCs and will definitely be listening to these while creating their lore. This playlist is so inspiring.
This is the backstory of a character I was inspired to create by this music. It's a bit lengthy but if you stick around to read it, I hope you like it.
Note: Some names used in this story are Romanian so they have a different pronunciation:
Sylvia = Syl - vee - ah
Diana = dee - anne - ah
Ian = Yan (not ee - an)
Barcani = Bar - chani
Turbăria = Tur - beh - reeh - ah
Ruginosu = Ruh- jee - nos - ú
Born and raised in the Transylvanian mountains by a high elven couple, Syliva spent her early years living in a small hut in Barcani with her mother, Diana, and father, Ian. She was a single child though, mostly raised by her mother while her father made sure to evade all duties and instead spend his time mindlessly drinking nights away. Meanwhile Sylvia’s bond for her mother grew, she started to grow in hatred of her father and his absence.
Around the town stretched the forbidden forest, Turbăria Ruginosu, where entry was strictly forbidden even for the most fabled of hunting squads. A forest of which Sylvia was told stories of night after night. Stories of the terrible fiends that patrolled the nights and vampiric ghouls that savagely feast on children like her.
Her parents always had a tough relationship due to her father’s constant negligence of his parental responsibility and lust for the young life he no longer has. This caused frequent conflict between the troubled parents and fights were all but rare.
However, one October night, Sylvia’s father arrived late from the pouring rain with a swing to his dizzy stride. Though it had not been the first, Diana made sure this night was the last. And so she snapped at the drunken man with the motive to drive him away from the house and rid Sylvia and herself of the burden he proposes. However, oblivious to the fact his forsaken daughter was silently observing their clash, Ian lifted his inebriated hand and lashed at the distressed mother, indeed, making said fight the last.
Diana sank beside her mortified daughter, who stood frozen watching her mother’s lifeless eyes stare aimlessly into the air.
Grabbing only the pocket watch gifted by her beloved mother and a mind full of loathe and grief ignited by her miserable father, young Sylvia darted through storms into the twisted and forbidden woods; the tricksy paths laden with twists and turns in all directions, spiralling uncontrollably throughout the distorted trees and branches that towered over the gloomy meadow. As the young girl strolled along the mysterious plane, she found herself lost inside the wicked woods, charged with fear and shock.
And so young Sylvia rested her head against a stray pine log and gazed at the starry veil-like sky of the unforgiving night, letting go of all her hope and setting herself down upon the frigid floor.
However, a pale hand stretched from the darkness, its inky nails curled around her shoulder with a freezing touch before she could fall and silently raised her to her feet. Before her stood a slim shadow cloaked in charcoal robes which palled its sinister figure and masked it in the darkness. Its face was illegible, yet an ominous glow of crimson smouldered in the dark mist around its eyes. ‘Come, troubled child. You are safe now.’ hummed a foul, yet comforting voice as its host towered over Sylvia with an air of sophistication.
Sylvia, remembering the stories her mother told, fearfully held the hand of the being and followed it deeper towards the heart of the forbidden forest, burning to inquire who it is she is following. At the arrival upon an ancient castle, the gates opened with haste as soon as they approached and welcomed them in with an unexpected warm atmosphere of safety and nurture. Upon stepping into the mystifying palace, the voice speaks again. “Troubled child, you have come far from home tonight. Your bravery is potent.” It pauses before speaking again. “My name is Victoria, and this is my home. It will now be yours too.”
“Why have you brought me here?” she faltered hopelessly with unorthodox images of the stories she was told, clenching Victoria’s frigid hand with distress. “Have I done something wrong..?”
“You have been hurt, child. But fear not, for my family means not to harm you. Join us for dinner Sylvia, you are one of us.”
As Sylvia sat beside the vampire queen at the regal table, she cast her eyes upon the vast hall, occupied by brothers and sisters together. All full of fangs that hung fiercely from their jaws, unnaturally pallid skin and burning embers in their eyes.
However, before she could comprehend the size of the feast, she felt a sharp pain on the side of her neck. A stream of claret blood cascaded down her shoulder as Victoria’s eyes met hers, “You are one of us now.” She croaked, allowing Sylvia’s foggy mind to faint to the marble floor into a sleep so deep.
This was not the end however, as Sylvia awakened on a noble bed in an ill-lit room. But this was the least of her worries as upon sight of a mirror, she could not comprehend the absence of her reflection.
If only poor little Sylvia knew who she was now. How her emerald eyes were thronged with a ruby glow, her lips a deep maroon. Her skin was no longer tan, but whiter than the finest bleach and her power limitless. But she was not scared, not one bit. For she knew she had now found her home, and at last, she could rest.
And so years passed since Sylvia’s turn, she now grew older, wiser, and more powerful in the vampire’s castle. But she was not the only thing that grew, so did her deep hatred for her iniquitous father. As the isolated castle became her home, she learned the vampire ways and adopted the marginalised lifestyle of her new family, though, one mission remained uncompleted. Ian must bleed.

You were riding in your carriage as you pass in a long, empty road. With houses on the side that looks like it had been abandoned for years. They were full of vines and cobblestones. But maybe they just look like that. The wind was very cold. Even if the window on the carriage was closed along with it's curtain covering it. You were freezing. And so you decided to take a peek and opened the curtain a little. Fogs are everywhere. But still, you can see just the shadows of the houses and the forests behind them. You looked at your Horseman, and said..
"Are we almost there, Luden?"
Luden then said..
"Almost, My Lady/Lord."
You were relieved to hear that you were almost there to your destination. And so you sat back to the small fluffy chair and yawned. You are a Duke's daughter/son. Well, mostly adopted. But they loved you for all their heart. You were feeling regretful at first, but then changed your mind. They were kind. And lovingly caring. You had a elder sister, who is a bit cold... But is extremely loving towards you. And an even older brother. Who will protect you if anything ever happens. Well, that was just years ago. You are now 18. And you are now in a marriageable age. Though you didn't had that kind of interest, it was still kinda interesting to think about it. On where you will marry and you would look in a wedding dress/suit. But after thinking about Marriage, the carriage stopped suddenly.

You were frightened. What could have possibly happened? You asked Luden. Your horseman.

You decided to peek and go outside. But you were stopped immediately by Luden.
"A-ah... Stop! My Lord/Lady!"
You stopped in a flinch. You were confused. And decided to look at the back window.
"What's happening, Luden? Why won't you let me out to check what happened..."
"A-ah... I... I'll go check for it myself, My Lady/Lord."
You felt concerned. Even though he won't be in the Dukedom that much... Whenever you go out, he would always be there to play with you. And talk with you for some time. It was when he was still on his 30's. Now he is in his 40's. Almost to be on 50's to be exact. He has been working on the Dukedom for more than 10 years. He was well known as a kind and loveable old man. I, on the other hand... Agree to it also. The servants there are also kind and thoughtful. Also quick-witted. They could sense if the atmosphere isn't right. Which is very impressive for them to know and have. Now, let's go back.
Luden then stepped off the trot (?) And walked out. You waited. And waited.
....
You were beginning to feel nervous. Where could Luden have been? And where did he go? Did he got lost? You thought to yourself...
".... Alright. I'm a grown up now. I'll check it for myself!"
Feeling big and brave, you step out of the Carriage.
"Ah! *Coughs*"
It was unusually empty and eerily peaceful on the stony road. You looked around. Luden isn't there wherever you looked.
"Luden?"
You called out and shouted for his name. Nobody answered. Only the sounds of the cold breezes passing by.
"Achoo!"
You started to sneeze. Just where could have Luden possibly go? You became even more concerned.
"I can't leave this carriage here all alone though..."
You are unsure of what to do. You never know what this road was. Or what village name or street this was. It was odd. But you shrugged it off. But now, Bad feelings then start to swarm around you. But as stubborn you can be, you shrugged it off. And you walked towards a small road where there is a fountain. An abandoned fountain, of course. You roamed around after that. Calling for Luden.
"Luden? Luden!"
You kept on shouting. Still, no one answered. Until there were footsteps behind you. You felt shivers down your spine...
"Lu... Den?"
You turned around...
And saw...
ANYWAYS that's all sorry for bad grammar mistake and once again, unprofessional writing- it's because this is my first time writing a POV that is basically vampire themed since usually I would just read them but uhh- here we are ;v; once again, sorry for bad writing lol

Here's a lil POV for ya.
Here I stand, my feet remain positioned, yet my eyes dart back and forwards across the room. They catch a curtain, hung about six meters high and I let my eyes travel down to where the end of the bundle of fabric lay strewn out on the flooring of the ballroom. A ballroom in the early 1900s is definitely not where I thought I would see myself in the last week. Young women in vibrant coloured Victorian ballgowns, red, pink, green and blue all float around in front of me. Dancing. Accompanying them, young men in tuxes, ties and tails guide their hands in a waltz, while a rhythmic song fills the room.
As for me, layers upon layers cover me, even so, the cool breeze makes its way to where I stand, and a couple of windows are open. I would not want to show indecency by removing any of my clothing since no one else appears to do the same. The corset around my waist, crushing each of my ribs is so tight that I am reminded of it with each breath that I take. Next is a thin underdress that I thought completed the outfit, until I was fitted with a gorgeous bright red ballgown. I see only a few others from where I stand.
Where is he? My eyes now sift through faces of the crowd in search of the one I must meet. Were we not meant to meet next to the giant platter of fish that is now infiltrating my nose, just like the note had said? Maybe he is too afraid. Maybe he has changed his mind and has left. The thought of this floods me with disquiet. I do not wish to be here by myself, I think, however, I could just leave also.
“Excuse me, Miss?”
My head jolts, my ears shocked to hear a voice. The eyes are what I first notice in a person and mine are met with those of brilliant emerald green. A man, a foot taller than I stands before me, fixed gaze and arm outstretched with a smile, he almost bows. “Would you care to dance?” I feel the heat being drawn to my cheeks, dancing has never been a talent of mine, except everyone in the room makes it look easy and since I have been watching for quite a while…
“Of course,” I say, taking his hand smiling. The young man nods his head and leads me onto the floor of the dancers. My heart pounds within my chest as I try to not step on any shoes. At last, through twirling dresses, we come to a stop in the middle of the ballroom. My left hand still in his right, he still smiles as his other hand starts slipping around my waist. This motion causes me to hesitate and flinch, so I pull away, only to realise the stupidity of my actions when I notice a wave of confusion cross his face, the smile dropping. I let him grab my waist.
Luckily, we start out slow and he is able to guide me in a way that I can keep up. This gives me a chance to have a closer look at him. Blonde curls frame his heart shaped face. His skin looks to be almost as pale as a sheet of paper. His complexion resembles what looks to be a fairy, up turned nose, and eyes, piercing emerald green eyes. I must say he is very handsome, however, I do not recognise him, so he must not be the one I am looking for. His porcelain face transforms into a wince, and I realise I have stepped on his shoe.
“Oh, I am so sorry!” I splutter out, heat racing to my cheeks. Embarrassment must be a prominent look on my face because he still smiles and says,
“Do not worry about it, it happens all the time.” I manage to get out a little laugh.
“Right.” It becomes awkward after a while, and eye contact I cannot keep, although he has maintained a fixed focus on me.
“I must say,” he eventually says, “You are one of the most beautiful women that I have seen here tonight.” I have to swallow to give myself more time before coming up with an answer. This is all too new for me. I make sure to keep a poised expression.
“Thank you.” I hope I do not say the wrong thing. We sway awkwardly for a while; except I am too distracted to pay attention. Continuously, the thought, I should be over by the fish, replays in my head. However, when I glance to the spot where I stood before, it looks quite empty. I decide to give up looking. To cure my disappointment, I cautiously try conversation. “May I ask for your name?”
“Pleasure. Ainsworth, William Ainsworth.” I try looking him in his eyes, except seeing his pierce into mine, I cannot for more than a few seconds, every inch of my body wants to curl away from him. “Yours?” The pressure around my waist tightens and immediately I sense something is askew.

“Farley is my family name,” I say, “it is what I too go by.” I hope he cannot hear the metronome of my heart, as it is my name now.
“Farley,” William repeats, still with a fixed gaze, “how would you like to accompany me out in the back garden?”
A chill runs down my spine and my arms breakout in goosebumps.
Suddenly a hand appears on William’s shoulder, someone has joined us. One quick look and it feels as though someone has shot me in the stomach, although I cannot help but smile.
I know that face, it is him.
“May I interrupt?” He says while his eyes meet mine. I look to William, and he does not appear too impressed, yet he nods and departs. A wave of relief washes over me like the first spring rain, cool and comforting. I am safe.
“May I interrupt?” I repeat while smiling, mimicking what he has just said, “Cliche.” He turns a scarlet red, just like usual.
“Where were you?” I decide to ask.
“I was admiring my clothes.” He says this slowly and skeptically, and I can tell that it is not true. I raise my eyebrows.
He chuckles, holding out his hand. “Well, shall we?” My knees become weak as I realise that he means to dance.
“Are you sure S-,”
“I feel you shall call me...” He interrupts, then pauses, “Emmett,” He finally says, almost in a whisper. Of course. Why had not I thought before I spoke. A feeling of foolishness surges through me.
“Well then, Emmett,” I say, adding emphasis on the name, “perhaps you shall call me Violet.”
“Alright, Violet,” Emmett says, “And to answer your question, don’t you think we need to fit in as much as required?” I can tell that he has also tweaked his voice to sound more proper, as have I. It is required yet somewhat slightly amusing. I nod and interlock my fingers with his and place my other hand on his shoulder. His hand does the same, however neither of them dare not go near my waist.
“Out of everyone I know in my life, I never thought that I would be seeing you here.” Emmett says. For a second my heat drops as I get lost into his beautiful ocean eyes.
“That I thought too,” I say, looking around, then adding, “this is quite amazing; is it not?”
“Very, I keep forgetting why I am here.” He smiles, then it drops. “Have any ideas who we might be on the look-out for?” The question probes me, though it does not find an immediate answer. And as much as it confuses me, I attempt to reply anyway.
“His name is William.” I motion my eyes towards where William now stands in the corner of the room, smiling intensely at an innocent looking girl. I lower my voice down to a whisper, “I strongly dislike that.”
“Yes, it is quite suspicious.” Then his solemn face changes into a smirk and he laughs, shaking his head then shifts his gaze to the right. I realise, I have once again, stepped on something that is not the ground.
“Sorry! Dancing is not my strongest point.”
“I can see that.” Emmett smiles. Suddenly the music comes to a prompt stop, then everyone claps. “Perhaps we ought to talk outside?”
I agree and start following him through the crowds of people to the deserted garden outside.
We arrive in the garden, and I stop walking, becoming speechless. Because to the lowest degree, it is stunning.
An arbour lined with hanging lanterns signals the entrance to a tunnel which looks to contain quite a few of these. Lit lanterns lead the way.
As if I am being pulled by a rope, I continue down the path after Emmett. We pass under the arch of the arbour, with vines twisting, weaving, and cascading down around. Once we emerge out the other side, my eyes are delighted by other greenery, water fountains and rose bushes. More of the soft lanterns that cast a beautiful dim yellow shine, illuminate the path we walk on, seem to correspond satisfyingly with the theme of the garden. I stare up at the open night sky above and it mirrors the effect of a blue and purple mixed galaxy flicked with molten-gold paint.
“How beautiful.”
“Is it not?”
Emmett continues to lead me down the path that seems to run down to an exquisitely lit circular gazebo.
There is a long bench inside the gazebo. We sit down. The scent of sandalwood pleasures my nose.
Weirdly, the sounds of crickets chirp in the silence that follows.
“I am so curious to know,” I rush to break the stillness, “why you chose to do this.” Emmett looks at me like I am crazy. I grin. “I know! Silly question, how about…,” I try to think of another, “What fascinated you about this?”
“Violet! How could I not?” He looks back down at his hands, which are twisting together, then gestures them in front of him. “I mean, look at this place, look how beautiful this garden is.”
“I know.” I too, am staring out into the garden as I feel his gaze burn the side of my face.
“Yes! And to answer your question, did you see inside? The rooms, the clothes, the people? It is truly extraordinary. I just had to.”
Gorgeous words. And it is exciting to listen to them.

I'm reading a vampire book and with this music it goes very well and interesting, I love the playlist
thank god its actual vampire music i was worried i was gonna open this and Hayloft by mother mother would jumpscare me
It's kind of late hour for me to have discovered this and I have to get up early for work tomorrow, but will make sure to get me some time tomorrow evening and have me listen to this, while having a nice supper accompanied by some good deep red wine and imagine myself being a vampire mistress having a glass of blood during the last hours of the night as it's passing its turn to early morning, relaxing herself while she's watching the colours of the dawn that start to form as the sun is slowly moving towards the surface of the earth. Of course, she will leave a few minutes before sunrise, since the sun would take her precious life away, besides, the brighter the day becomes the more her eyes feel like they're hurt by the sunrays approaching... But she wouldn't ever change that. The calmness and stilness of life during those hours, and then, all of a sudden, the chirping of the birds and all the sounds of nature slowly awakening, as if everything was shrouded under the veil of death but somehow managed to cast it off with the power of the distant sunlight. Even before her turning, this has since always been her source of peace and joy. Now, it's the best thing to do, right before withdrawing in the shadows to rest after a yet another night full of meeting with other vampires, hunting together and finding bits of their lost humanity by hanging out, sharing stories that would sometimes trace their trails centuries back. As a quite newcomer to their fields, she loved listening to these stories, learning from others' experiences, but she also needed some time to be on her own. And those times were the perfect ones for it.

Ok ok I'll do a little POV, please forgive me if I suck.
Pov: You turned 24 this month, This is your first time traveling alone in a unfamiliar environment since you were born in a smaller city. You majored in business and accountancy and was recommended to go and work at the capital.
You were happy going to the capital city with excitement all over you face until a thunderstorm suddenly appeared in broad daylight, therefore you rode the last flight. You have just arrived from a long journey, it's already midnight and there's no taxi.
Good thing that you already booked a hotel however it's a few miles from the airport. You took your luggage and walked for 2 hours until you stumbled upon a dark alley. Suddenly you smell a hint of iron and fresh blood, you ignored it until you saw a black silhouette of a tall man choking a man.
You secretly hide and took a peek, there you saw the man slashed his throat. you gasped as you saw him tasting the man's blood on his hand.
He instantly looked towards your direction and stared at your eyes, like a predator aiming at his next prey.
The cold air brushed your hair, your face turned pale. You accidentally got scratched from a broken glass, blood is flowing from your arm. The only thing you thought in that situation is to run as far as you can.
Suddenly another man popped out of nowhere near the man who slashed the guy's throat.
"Master, it seems that someone saw you kill that man, it has long hair so I think it's a woman-"
The man smirked and touched your blood from the sharp glass that you were cutted.
"Find her, and make you she shows up in front of me, untouched by another vampires or male humans. She shall be mine, only mine"
"... Yes, master"

You ran as fast as you can, bringing your luggage with you. After almost what felt like half an hour, you've arrived at your destination. Entering the hotel, you asked the reception where your room is situated
You plopped to your bed, exhausted, and from what you saw. Taking a small warm shower and changing into your cozy choice of nightware, you slept on your bed peacefully. Deciding to arrange your things tomorrow after getting your energy back
"So that's where she lives" One vampire servant mumbled, tracking you by the scent of your blood that stained the glass piece. Slowly entering your room window, he saw your sleeping form peacefully
"If i touch her the slightest bit, boss will end me for sure. Now to get this job done..." He saw your left out opened luggage, and saw your clothes. Then your photos that were left out, three of them were on the table.
The first one is your family, your friends, and yourself. 'Ah that smile, is this why master fell for her?' Silently taking the photo of you, he went outside to where he came from and fled from the hotel
"Master...I have arrived with a valuable" the servant entered the gothic palace's gates. Greeted by the vampire you met on the streets, and the other servants standing each on the sides of pathway to his throne.

It was morning, you decided to eat out instead of making food for yourself because you wanted to experience the day exploring this city and you spent the early morning arranging your belongings
'Dammit, where did i put that one photo? I thought i brought it with─' your thoughts were interrupted by the news on the cafe's TV placed above enough for the customers to see "A man was found dead this night, the police is investigating the crime scene. The man has a bite on his neck like every 30 previous victims..."
"*sigh* Same old thing again"
"Why can't the police believe us? It's obvious vampires exist" You heard two customers talk and you went up to them "Excuse me" they moved their attention to you "I heard you were talking about your theories about the news, may i ask what's actually happening in this city?"
"So you're a newbie here huh, interesting. Well lady, this city has more secrets than meets the eye" The man spoke "Don't mind him, my friend is always like that. Anyway, the name's Mizuki, you can call me Mimi for short. This one here is Michael, he is my friend from New York"

To tell you the truth, there's always victims with bites on their necks on the news. In other words, there's a vampire living among us" Michael sighed before taking a sip of his coffee.
"It's true, everyone has the same thought. Vampires live amongst us. The media and government are just too prideful to believe us commoners, and think it's just some fairytale cliche. But it's already confirmed by how it goes" Mizuki said before taking a bite of her cheesecake
"That gothic castle that are in the outskirts in the city? It's always suspicious, few people see it while the others pass by thinking it's another normal vacant cliff. But me and Mimi saw it, it's like... picking which people to see it." He said and you asked "What's up with the castle?"
"Well, Mike theorized it's where the vampires of this city hide and dwell." She giggled "Mike?" You knitted your eyebrows and Michael's cheeks were red as a tomato "Mimi!"
"Sorry, my bad~ I'm just used to call him that since sophomore year. But hey, you can call him that too" You spent most of your breakfast hours chatting With your new friends. Unaware of a vampire hearing it all.

Musically, this is a tour de force, taking in so many styles including classical (church) organ, waltzes and older dances - that delectable harpsichord/spinet sound (can't tell the diff, sorry!) etc, all with great sensitivity and atmosphere. Ultra-congrats on this fabulously dark/melancholy selection. The sun is shining outside as I write this, but I envisage dark clouds scudding across the sky glimpsed through the clutching branches of the blackened winter trees as a raven fixes me, quizzically, with its glittering eye...

"I see you're better now" someone says. You turn around and see him lean against the door, with a smile on his face. "What do you want from me?" you ask. "I'm surprised that you don't know. Strange, because it's on you". You understand his meaning and cover your neck with your hands, as if to protect it. "Come on, my love. It doesn't hurt at all. It's actually a pretty good experience". He walks towards you, looking at your lips. You walk backwards, as he makes you feel uncomfortable. You lean against the wall, as you can't move further. He smiles and touches your cheek. You blush. He grabs you by the chin, and moves closer to you. Closer and closer. Now his body leans against yours. You are angry and scared, but, surprisingly, you enjoy it. He sees that you don't try to escape, so he ducks and kisses you. You are surprised but you like it. He clutches you in his arms, and you can't help but move your hand to hin soft hair. After a minute or two, he lets you go. You blush again and smile. You two hug. As you think that it's a little hot in here, you feel something on your neck. The next minute, you are not a human being anymore...

Here's a little drabble piece for you folks, enjoy :)
Hunter paced quietly through the large entrance to the elaborate manor, a chill running down his spine. He almost jumped as the doors slammed shut behind him. He reminded himself what he was here for, or more accurately, who he was here for. He wasn't entirely certain if the rumours were true, but he knew he would be the one to get answers. The air grew ever colder as the wind blew through the trees outside.
"My brother sent you, didn't he?" a voice came from somewhere above, so quiet, yet it echoed through the halls.
"No, I came of my own accord," he called back, looking around to find the source of it. Nothing. A pause.
"Then I apologise," the voice replied.
"Apologise for what?"
"For the fact you have no business being here, and now you're trapped here with me,"
"Just who are you? Show yourself!" Hunter yelled.
"I am no one, just a man who hasn't eaten in a while," the voice said.
"You're not making sense. Come down here, we'll talk face to face, I can offer a granola bar if it convinces you," he replied.
"When you see my face, you'll already be dead. But you're not supposed to be here, so I will be fair. You have a minute to run, you can go anywhere in this place, just don't try the doors. They can't be opened from the inside," the voice reasoned.
"What happens if you catch me?" he asked. Another pause.
"When I catch you, I feed," the voice said, softer than before, as though they were uncertain.
"So you're hunting me," he concluded.
"And you're bleeding time. Your minute just started, get going and pray I don't find you,"
