The BEST weekend getaway in the midwest? Hermann Missouri!

In today's video we traveled to Hermann Missouri to enjoy some good ol fashion wine tasting! Found in the heart of Missouri, Hermann is a quaint German town that's BIG on it's wines. Located about an hour from St. Louis, this was an easy trip to make, but the payoff was BIG.
We started at Adam Puchta Winery, made our way to Stone Hill and Hermanhoff, and finally ended at Oak Glen. Along the way we sampled many different wines and tried quite a few different appetizers and cheeses. Overall it was a great trip!
We enjoyed our stay at a local BnB which gave us a great view of the Missouri River at sunset. Our favorite part of the trip however.... the insane trolley rides between each winery!
Hermann is only about an hour away from where we live, yet we've never really visited. I encourage you to look for similar places near your home to see what you can find! 2020 was supposed to be the year of mastering the weekend getaway, but that came to a halt earlier in the year. We decided to get back on track and made Hermann one of our first stops.
What a weekend! Get out there, travel local, and enjoy!

There were very few restrictions when we visited. A few places required masks indoors but it felt pretty normal for the most part.

Adam Puchta definitely has the best wine. I also enjoy Hermanhoff's vignoles.
