Too many people dislike this stuff, sad but true. It's melodic, hook-laden, and chorus-driven, but easily accessible to the ear and catchy as all hell. So the question is, why doesn't the bubblegum pop buying public at large ever acknowledge this brand of sonic bliss? Even metalheads turn their noses up at it!!! I don't get it either, kaaosaf-that's why I thumbs-upped your post!
I'm just weirded out that there are people who *dislike* this stuff.... I would've thought that the whole human race would at least agree that stoner is the shit.
I’ve got reasons and secrets On both sides of the page And baby I’m very certain now I’ll never change Step inside my world And I’ll show you all my pain What have you done lately To ease my mind What have you done lately Forget all my past relations And you can dime me out for days Baby don’t worry, no don’t worry now I’m branded by my own faith
First time I've listened to Sasquatch and I'm immediately impressed. I don't know how many other people are like this, but I swear I'm addicted to that thick, heavy fuzzy wall of sound that Sasquatch and other "stoner" (if you like to use that genre name) bands have. Not to mention the riffs here are pretty solid.
@decodeon I'm watching videos You've posted and I see Unida, Slo burn, Sasquatch?? and I thought that I'm the only one.. Respect from Poland man...Real music will never die.
I've played this song about 20 times now, theres just something about that riff at the end that makes me want to blast it going 120mph down an empty road in the desert
Well todays music sucks if we are talking about the mainstream/popular music. Unfortunately, the good stuff is less known and harder to find BUT finding it gives much more satisfaction. And, as we're at it, it looks like I ahve two new bands to look for :D
oh Lord! this band is totally awesome.. the vocals and drum parts are amazing. and guitar too! this is what I was searchin for exactly NOW. I'm gonna buy their albums when afterI've paid my motherfuckin' bills.
I've just found what I was looking for: another stoner metal band similar to Kyuss and Acid King to listen to like you don't give a fuck. It conveys a sense of freedom and makes us conceive a wide and desolate landscape.
A band could do an honor song for the Dakota warrior,(Petite Sioux), shot down coldly by soldiers in 1885 while challenging the commander of the Canadian Army column to single combat!!
Oh, My God! The guy at left 'til 2:48 so totally has that Nicholas Cage thing going on! JuanDoom, I'm feelin' ya, bro-ham! But yeah, why doesn't the world at large embrace the "stoner rock" thing? Even some stoners I know just don't don't geddit!!! Makes me wanna bang my head against a wall sometimes! Aaaaaargh!
@NecroBathory i was wondering if the other songs were as good as this one. today is the first time i have heard them. so it's worth buying all their stuff? it's all as good as this?
I'm with you, Strafer66. You'd think a fan of thrash metal would glom onto the "doom metal" that Sasquatch consistently serves up, and with a vocal delivery somewhere between Pepper Keenan and Chris Cornell. Dee-lish! I'm a metalhead who listens to blues, country, and many other genres besides, so I may be eccentric (eclectic?) in my tastes...but still, what's not to like? Maybe the song length can seem "sprawling", but that's part of the appeal (early Metallica, anyone?)!
@AnselmoFanZero "Slow...but heavy" ??? Don't you mean "Slow AND heavy"? There's nothing mutually exclusive about slow tempo and heaviness, or have you had your head under a rock (OK a rock is slow and heavy too!)?
This is the direction I thought Soundgarden woulda taken! Only props for Soundgarden, though; they didn't do too bad for themselves, especially "Superunknown", but still, where's the gleefully heavy "Badmotorfinger"-ish sludge? What's missing from music today? Well, it's not missing...it's out on the fringe of musical interests, of commercial aspirations. It's an entity commonly called "stoner rock".
Why the hell do people want to label this "stoner rock???".....never heard that before. I think it has a hint of early Sabbath....., and some hint of Corrosion/Down ............Stoner rock??? This aint Bedrock.....this is real rock fools,
It's a dumb sub genre label. I'm sorry but I really don't care for all these weird sub genres and labels. If anything I'd call it slow rock or swamp rock. Mainly swamp rock since this kind of music(like down, corrosion, crowbar etc,)makes me think of being in some shack or cabin out in the everglades or some swamp in the south. LoL I don't know.
Until a stoner rock band does a Nicki Minaj song! You think it would rank in the "Encyclopedia of Mental Disorders", but think about it- did Vanilla Fudge givae a damn about such things when they covered the Supremes' "Keep Me Hangin' On"? Okay, maybe I'm gonna gag a few million souls with that can o' worms I just opened, but isn't this brand of unfiltered music called "stoner rock" supposed to be inherently open-minded? Aghree, or disagree with thumbs-up or thumbs-down...you tell me.
i have the answer for those who dislike bands like this . .. .. . . i guess they have personals with the band. . . .maybe ex girlfriends did this ! QQ bitches they are fucking cool :D
Soundgarden and Sasquatch on the same stage ?? I think that would cause a chemical reaction causing Justin Beiber's head to fly into Lady Gaga's ass causing them both to implode. Lets make this happen.
Reminds me of corrosion of conformity.Singer.
One of the best songs to ever exist. Very Sabbath heavy and they've been around for years. Love this band.
It's great when 3 guys get together and say "hey, let's make sure and play ALL heavy tunes"
this sounds very SLEEPish... LOVE THAT!
Can't get tired of listening to this band and especially this song.
Why have I not been listening to these guys for years?
Not all Metalheads turn away from this. The raw crunchy guitars brought me here. And I love every thing else that goes with it.
Yeah you are right it riminds me of the old stuff from soundgarden
Too many people dislike this stuff, sad but true.

I don't get it either, kaaosaf-that's why I thumbs-upped your post!
that riff.... I keep coming back. again. and again. and again.
Buy all three. Everything they do has this vibe to it.
I'm just weirded out that there are people who *dislike* this stuff.... I would've thought that the whole human race would at least agree that stoner is the shit.
I’ve got reasons and secrets
On both sides of the page
And baby I’m very certain now
I’ll never change
Step inside my world
And I’ll show you all my pain
What have you done lately
To ease my mind
What have you done lately
Forget all my past relations
And you can dime me out for days
Baby don’t worry, no don’t worry now
I’m branded by my own faith
This is the first song I've heard from these guys... I'm a fan!
First time I've listened to Sasquatch and I'm immediately impressed. I love those guys.
The singer sounds a WHOLE lot like Chris Cornell in "Mid" Soundgarden circa 199X....................Respect to this band
I've played this song about 20 times now, theres just something about that riff at the end that makes me want to blast it going 120mph down an empty road in the desert
this band rules the land - and the pic at 5:45 is the cover of sasquatch II
reminds of the good old Sound garden stuff.
Well todays music sucks if we are talking about the mainstream/popular music. Unfortunately, the good stuff is less known and harder to find BUT finding it gives much more satisfaction. And, as we're at it, it looks like I ahve two new bands to look for :D

aaaaa!! Esto es algo de lo que el metal ocupa...grande sasquatch!
"Slow...but heavy"
That opening riff is so duuuurty, I feel like a need a bath !
These guys have a great sound. Kind of reminds me of a mix between clutch and sound garden. :)
Man, this is awesome!
I've just found what I was looking for: another stoner metal band similar to Kyuss and Acid King to listen to like you don't give a fuck. It conveys a sense of freedom and makes us conceive a wide and desolate landscape.
Adai, sasquatch yra ziauriai geras ;D
Good stuff, nice doomy stoner guitars and rockin' singing.
awesome stuff. like it very much, thanks for the upload, sir!
Sounds a bit like Monster Magnet. Brilliant stuff...
What Soundgarden once was and could have remained.
Step inside my world and I'll show you all my pain.
They look like Musketeer's from the 30 Years War!,(1618-1648).............You had to look tough in that old war.
Warning this riff will stick in your brain and randomly pop up while cooking pasta...
It gets me when Im cutting my lawn.
@@mattc8723 Well for me , it pop up while Im ironing my shirt...
A band could do an honor song for the Dakota warrior,(Petite Sioux), shot down coldly by soldiers in 1885 while challenging the commander of the Canadian Army column to single combat!!
muy buenoa su musica mi amigo.
excelente introduccion, pero el cambio approaching el final,
esta explosivo. "buena idea musical".
guys! check out this band! THE SIGN OF THE SOUTHERN CROSS! they are realy badass since PANTERA!
Aaaaaargh!
cool as helll ever hear of bongzilla?luv that word.got c.o.c.?sounds sludgey too sort of like coc
Knowing why Sasquach even bothered to do a faster version of this song might ease my mind. This version is perfect.

kaaosaf: others are not necessarily have the same taste as we have. Sasquatch rules! But why are they watching it/listenin to it? I'm puzzled, too.
What haze you done?
Sounds alot like Trouble. Pretty Fucking Awesome.
Anyone who does'nt dig this has no soul or human emotion!

Where can I find the tab to play it!!
This is the direction I thought Soundgarden woulda taken!

They kind of remind me of Corrosion of Conformity.
PHIL??????
Year??

Fucking hell ..Mix Sabbath with Down With TypeO..You got sasquach!
bit of early Soundgarden in there too
@TheBigMclargehuge just one of the many services I offer.
All I could think about was killing the Sasquatch's family in Red Dead Redemption as I listened to this.
thank you youtube!
Sons of Kyuss :)
@TheAqualung420 never say never ;)
Similar to Soundgarden/Audioslave and old school Pearl Jam. I like.
Why the hell do people want to label this "stoner rock???".....never heard that before. I think it has a hint of early Sabbath....., and some hint of Corrosion/Down ............Stoner rock??? This aint Bedrock.....this is real rock fools,

LoL, dammit I guess I kind of did didn't I...
It's the only sub genre that has had any longevity. I'm fine with that. Blame kyuss, maybe ?
fuck´n good
The singer sounds like "Soundgarden" .-)
Well, Soundgarden was a band but this guy does sound in a similar vein to Chris Cornell.
This sounds like Soundgarden mashed with Sleep.
Lead singer has a phil anselmo sound to him
WTF saw a sepsquatcsh!? set it free! ;]
i know it's kinda lame saying it, but 666 likes. 0 dislikes. hehe, i fuckin love this band.
