Y’all callin the dances corny but I think this is as 90’s R&B as it gets. If you can dance to a slow R&B song it’s a hit. And that’s coming from a young one whose parents musically raised him the right way.
That’s cause it had to be. The cycle for an album was substantially slower then. Not to mention, there were bonafide vocalist of variety on the scene at the time. Couple that with some of the most prolific producers and songwriters and the substance of albums and vocalists output speaks for itself. To make money, artists had to have talent and be developed. The aforementioned money makers were the labels of course. With the near constant rate of productions no limited attention spans, the music of today cycles through much faster. It’s about the rhythm and the production, rather than the quality of the vocals or the lyrical content.
The idea of choreography is great. Some of the parts were cool, some were too much. The swinging of the arms during the hook is a big NO for me. Scale from 1-10, I’ll give it a strong 5
That 98 - 99 year for music is still to this day unmatched
STILL!!
Yes all 4 performance almost 2024 let's get back come home mike miss u bro
I love them with Mike

Yesss!!!
And Wanya too 😁😁😁
My FAVORITE male GROUP of all times NATHAN,MICHAEL,SHAWN and WANYA.
Music quality was def higher at this time, but labels were also putting real budgets behind a&r’s and songwriters. Which they don’t do now

The dance is corny but it gets me hahaha
Not everyone wants to see Jodeci stomp around in boots while the vocally challenged DeGrate brothers walk around in sunglasses pretending to sing
