Well, a lot of people criticised about the song being illogical but this sequence was so powerful in its depiction. It actually shows the tenacity of our freedom fighters and the struggle they went through to give us the freedom that we take for granted.
May be signing a song while being flogged and beaten up was over dramatic but you can simply replace the song with some powerful sloganeering that our leaders used to do while being subjected to humiliation and torture. That was more or less the idea behind it.
Anyway, some people criticise just for the sake of it. Cant convince them
This song should be listened only in Telugu Language,For Non-Telugu Speaking People it'll be a bit of let down,Coz they can't connect with soul of lyrics which are the very epitome of Komaram Bheem's Determined Attitude,His Innocence & his way of seeing good even in the worst possible times,This song literally Explains Not only how he sees the world&also his refusal to bowdown to infront of the British Imperialists,He Not only Refuses to kneel down , He's also setting an example to the people around him to fight back no matter what
