I was in touch with Ginger Burgett(Miriam Carpenter) last month. I asked her about a reunion special, as well as were any VHS DVD box sets available for purchase through CBN. Ginger said sadly, there were none, just the master tapes at CBN, nor had plans ever been made for a reunion special. To my knowledge, the actors from Another Life who passed away were Julie Jenny, who played the character of Babs; Randolph Kraft, who played Charles Carpenter; Eyde Byrde, who played Ione Redlon, and Jerry Timm, the 1st Gil Prescott.

Gil Prescott #2 also passed away in 2016. There are also Richard Dix as Preston Carpenter, Ray Owens as Mitch Dunbar, Suzanne Granfield as Helen Carpenter, Michael Ryan as Vince Cardelo, Jerry Rowe as Walter McGovern and probably others who were already in their late 50's and 60's when the show was taped whose passing away can't be confirmed. CBN gave up its rights to the show in the late 90's and even distanced itself from it. You'll not find a mention of it on their website, but the fact that the master tapes exist suggests the first 69 episodes may also have survived all these years.

Do Doctor Pat Robertson and other CBN staff know how popular this program still is all over the world? For the actors that want to participate could a reunion be arranged by a group outside of the CBN organization? Thank you

    • @robindear5043

@@LESTER7L1 I guess it would depend on the actors getting together and agreeing to it. I think a reunion program, no more than an hour or an hour and a half long, aired in half hour segments over 2-3 days, would be sufficient enough. What about a name ...Another Life: The Sequel? Another Life: Changing Times, Unchanging Faith? As several others have noted, CBN & Pat Robertson have never expressed interest in a reunion show or reviving the series. Many of the actors on AL have gone on to have very successful careers in and outside the film industry.

Yes. The second title above sounds great! It would be nice. Maybe some day a reunion program may happen. Thank you, Robin.

On August 31, I once again spoke to Troy C. Paris (Jimmy #2):
Mr. Paris: I have received your email but I’m waiting for a Soap Opera Digest
    article from my father.
Travis: I’ll like to alert you that Another Life continues to be re-broadcasted and the fans appreciate you for your work on the series.
Mr. Paris: Thank you for that! It was an absolutely awesome experience. I can’t say enough good things about my time on that show. I’m honored that I was chosen to play the role.
Travis: Are you still in contact with anyone from the series please?
Mr. Paris: No. When I left, I was probably about 15 or so. I took a different turn.
I didn’t pursue acting. I was more interested in athletics. I should get the
article from my father soon so I’ll send you my responses next week.
Travis: Ok. I look forward your responses.
Mr. Paris: Enjoy the Labor Day weekend.

I believe Jimmy's last appearance was in late 83' or early 84' after baby Alicia was born, so it will be interesting to see if he returned for the Redlons' final scenes on the show. After all, this is the first time I'm actually watching these episodes in more than 32 years (I watched the final episodes in June 1986 for the record).
