I used to be a rake fan for so long because Classic Edition was the first game I ever played when I joined roblox for the first time. As the time passed I managed to join the discord server and got hyped when RVVZ announced a Rake remaster. Now I'm just addicted to CHAIN because its pretty similar to the Rake but you can clash and parry the killer.
Is it titled "The KILLER!!!" ? That's what I used to play, similar to the rake. But this time it's a monster from camping story. Black figure, creepy face image.
I really love the rake remastered...it was one of the first games I've played since I got Roblox....I just simply in love with the game... learning every thing about the game without any yt tutorial...and got over 4000 survials in a few months...what ever happens to the game I'll always play...thank you RVVZ for making such wonderful game
I don't understand why people got mad at him removing fan remakes. I mean, these fan games may have been fun, but these games that were "fun" were practically ripping his content for income.
yeah i’m on his side here they were straight up stealing his assets especially the kill test games he js should have handled the removal of them better bc some of them were original games and the devs lost a bunch of work when they could have just been told to remove a few scripts

@@kkkashhhhh i actually detailed rvvz creating the rake from a creepypasta in the video and the problem with fan remakes weren’t the intellectual property they were the stolen assets that rvvz made that other creators took straight from his game for use in theirs trfr never got deleted because terribleblox made his own assets
i have been a rake classic edition fan since 2019, it was actually one of the first games i cared for. it was nice seeing the community be alive and well until the purge struck and many of the good fangames were being taken down and RVVZ was getting criticized for his decision, everyone was sad or dissapointed including myself. the game got very boring after that until the halloween update came out and the game got back a fraction of the players back, after that it was never updated and the game got slowly dried out until RVVZ released THE RAKE: Remastered. since then i have seen RVVZ use a strategy of reviving the game using new content when the game lost 70% of the players.
RVVZ got inspired by the steam game the rake, im suprised people dont know this because literally the steam game is a older version of his game, it lacks some parts like it having guns and being able to place cameras, but he literally was inspired by the steam game which has a very very simular concept
tbh i feel bad for RV, he's one of the few that is passionate about game development unlike most who are only in it for the money, people call him greedy yet overlook others that are way worse, the rake fan games that he took down wasn't because he wanted to erase the competition but because most stole his stuff with scripts
yeah the rake was a passion project for him for sure but he totally went about fangames the wrong way by not warning people bc a lot of the bigger games were only using a few scripts/models from him and were otherwise completely original, they lost all their work when he could have told them to just remove the scripts that weren’t theirs. Even so it’s a shame he got so much hate for it bc i think that’s one of the main reasons he lost passion for the rake
@@monasteriointangivel blox fruits, pet sim, combat warriors, blade ball, death ball, etc. Unlike most popular games on roblox you can get straight into the action with crim, a glock and a wooden baseball bat is enough for 3 people if you have skill, gamepasses and stuff are just slight boosters/joke stuff like hallows launcher and snowball launcher with the sole purpose of supporting him and nothing else

RVVZ took down a rake fangame recently called "The Rake: Whispering Pines" even though it didn't use RVVZ"s scrips or buildings D: The game was honestly great and its sad to see RVVZ take down such a good game
Yeah i actually made a video on it a couple days ago, genuinely makes rvvz look like a completely uncaring dev and further kills the rake community, making p2 even less likely

great video. this game was a huge part of my life, especially in 2020-22. what a wonderful game, but it sure has a ton of history. this video is a huge nostalgia train for me, nice. :)
The community was never the same since 2022,rake drama started and a whole war happened over this game that lasted over a year,the story is complicated as only people who have been there will understand 💀
yeah in the video i had to leave out a bunch of fine points, since my main audience is rake fans anyway i figured most people would already have an idea of what happened I just wanted to put 7 years of community into one video
i started playing when the remastered version came out, and got me completely. i used the basecamp glitch many times, and when it got removed, i simply joined normal servers, to kill the rake and occasionally enjoy blood hour. the community were still there, waiting for the update, creating fanarts and chatting on the dc server. sadly, since the dc server got locked, i werent able to join up with others in hope of killing the rake. wish it would come out soon, cause i really want to play the game with hopefully new items and maybe map even. also the lore
2:25 it wasn’t forgotten, due to beta being banned, all of the progress on reborn was erased. rvvz was creating reborn on the beta place so it was all deleted.
People need to understand that it is 'ilegal' to use peoples assets whiout permition I was a Developer of the rake noob edition and im still owner of a dead fan rake game called 'the rake museum' and i do know what happen when you steal peoples assets, you risk to have your game deleted and Possibely be banned This is how i keep my game safe, because i always ask permitions to use their asset in my game, otherwise if they refuse i do not use them But as for most of the video, it was pretty good lets be honest

As someone who has been with RVVZ's rake since 2016. i have played since V3 - Early v10, CE and Rem. its no wounder this game is dying. RVVZ has done the same tatic for this entire time. updating whenever he feels like it aka when the game is dying. Ive seen it with beta and with ce. as long as rem has over 100 players it wont be updated. looking at RVVZ's track record. If he is getting tired of rake which is fair since hes been doing it since 2016 just tell us. He seems to be more passionate with crim which is fair since its a fresh new game for him. Overall Rake has already been on roblox since the early 2010s and even made a apperance in slender's revenge. I bet the next game is just going to be the same just with better code and apperance. no gameplay changes, no replayability etc. RVVZ hasn't done much big changes with beta since the v10 era imo.
Yea I can agree, he didn't need those rework models of rake, he needed make it replayable for you had atleast goal in this game to do and if he do it in part 2 it might get its community back.

I remember back in 2016 when I first played the rake I was confused and asked my self what is the rake game all about and I went to play it and until now I still play remastered. But I still have hope that there will be a new rake game despite no updates I won’t lose hope this was the game that started my journey in Roblox.

I used to be a big fan of RV's projects with the biggest one being The Rake, as it had been apart of my childhood for quite a bit. Even though some updates were delayed as the game had a small development team, I still kept high expectations & hopes for the game. Of course, it inevitably fell into a continuous delay within the game's updates & inconsistencies as RV tends to do this with some of his other games. I ended up making a gamemode for my game CHAIN, titling it "SURVIVAL," hoping for a fresh new take that Rake fans could enjoy as it follows a similar formula the Rake does, which was responded positively! I am currently finalizing my last update for the game that includes mainly what I think could've made the game much more cooler to drive off the typical survive the day & night cycle. At the end of the day, lets just hope the game can revive itself.
yea rv will come back to it at some point but that point is totally unknown so we’ll just have to be patient ig as for chain i’ve actually made videos on story and survival! it uses the rake formula but totally takes it to the next level so im rly excited to see what you do with it next
@@alphamiz yea beta has a lot that was removed in classic it'd be so cool to have vision and blackout and escape hour come back if you've ever played charar's 2017 beta remake you can mess around with the stun knife and the old mechanics and hours it's actually pretty cool
The rake demo was just peak imo, back then i was too scared to play it for more than 5 minutes and nowadays i can't regret that more than i do. The modern rake games feel boring for me and i liked rake's model in the demo so much more, i really do just wish someone would reupload it and it got a good playerbase so i could live what i was too scared of doing back then.

they add more content to the limited time seasonal updates for criminality than the entire rake game has to offer. all hopes seems lost, but we still have a beacon of hope in the distance. not certain about the distance of the beacon, but it's still there.
update: still nothing. only 1% of rake remastereds players are veterans. the other 99% are either new players or people who started playing like 10 days ago
i'm glad that rakOOF is still updating.. it's like rake but a noob is replacing the rake with new lore and new items... In 2024 fruit hour or something got released and made my face become joy! I'll say, RakOOF is more enjoyable in my opinion.

I first played this game back in 2018 and as soon as i saw rake charge at me i always wanted to find someone or if i had the stun stick i would fight for my life bassicly this game is either fight or flight
yeah he was totally justified to do what he did the one thing he should’ve done that he didn’t is warn game creators, games like noob edition had mostly original assets and only a few rvvz assets yet he banned the entire game. If he had warned devs they would’ve had a chance to remove only his assets and keep their games online either way tho the hate sent towards him was totally uncalled for and likely contributed to the lack of passion and updates that the rake has gotten recently

tbh it’s probably just because it’s such a small game people don’t know abt it it is a decent game but it needs work in a few places in terms of ai pathfinding/bug work and just fleshing out the game more bc in its current state it feels a bit barren
the creator is a small developer and he bearly gets helped on so he expects the game to be in beta for a longer amount of time, the admin items are pretty fun to mess around with

I used to be addicted to the rake fan remake and even meeting admins and getting huge events. They made s remake of the fan remake with its own original map and code. So sad that the game died because they did Holliday updates and everything. I remember the fan remake alot.
I think rvvz should move back to rake content. Criminality isn't progressing in size enough and now the rake remastered has to compete with its new whispering pines counterpart.
yeah i agree the problem was that he didn’t give the game creators any warning and there were games like noob edition who only used a few models and were otherwise completely original. when a game gets DMCAed all of its files are lost which meant that all the work and original assets rake devs put into their games were lost as well as the copied parts. He needed to warn creators so that they could remove any copied assets beforehand
This "new game" RVVZ talks about is never coming out -- or at least not until the game completely dies again. In 2020, heck, even in 2019 RVVZ spoke of revamping The Rake, but he never released it until TRCE's player count fell to just about 50 in 2022. This is how RVVZ works. He talks about updating the game, leaving players anticipating it for YEARS on end and when they finally give up on the game THEN he releases it, leaving the game in this infinite loop of decline. The unfortunate thing is most Rake players don't see through these empty promises which allows RVVZ to continue his treatment of the game.
@@LordOmbra I disagree, RVVZ has already posted some screenshots of how the game is going to look which means he is working on this new game, TRCE didn't get screenshots that the rake was going to get a new update until 2021, you also have to keep in mind that RVVZ also develops other games like Criminality and has a life other than game developing.
@@yako9035 ur right about trce not getting screenshots but the trce release was prompted by rake beta being banned and not an official release date from rvvz. remastered had many leaks before it was released and yet it wasn’t released until almost 2 years after rvvz began talking about it which coincidentally was when trce dropped below 100 active. At the moment the next rake is looking to be the same way and while i did talk about rvvz developing crim in the video (he’s also only 19 so im sure he has other things to do in his life) the issue is not that he takes a long time to develop it’s that his release dates get massively delayed and often coincide with when his rake money stream stops which makes him look greedy and unconcerned for the state of the game
I really hate how @RVVZ got TRWP taken down knowing it would gut his community and make his fan base hate him for it and still did it anyway. He is really trying to still make money off of a game he said he was going to discontinue is just really greedy. they add more content to the limited time seasonal updates for criminality than the entire rake game has to offer. all hopes seems lost, but we still have a beacon of hope in the distance. not certain about the distance of the beacon, but it's still there.
update: still nothing. only 1% of rake remastereds players are veterans. the other 99% are either new players or people who started playing like 10 days ago
I heard from a developer when made a rake game in 2019 he was caught in the 2020 DMCA he made all of the assets himself

yeah he was totally justified to do what he did the one thing he should’ve done that he didn’t is warn game creators, games like noob edition had mostly original assets and only a few rvvz assets yet he banned the entire game. If he had warned devs they would’ve had a chance to remove only his assets and keep their games online
either way tho the hate sent towards him was totally uncalled for and likely contributed to the lack of passion and updates that the rake has gotten recently

tbh it’s probably just because it’s such a small game people don’t know abt it
it is a decent game but it needs work in a few places in terms of ai pathfinding/bug work and just fleshing out the game more bc in its current state it feels a bit barren
the creator is a small developer and he bearly gets helped on so he expects the game to be in beta for a longer amount of time, the admin items are pretty fun to mess around with

I used to be addicted to the rake fan remake and even meeting admins and getting huge events. They made s remake of the fan remake with its own original map and code. So sad that the game died because they did Holliday updates and everything. I remember the fan remake alot.

yeah i agree the problem was that he didn’t give the game creators any warning and there were games like noob edition who only used a few models and were otherwise completely original. when a game gets DMCAed all of its files are lost which meant that all the work and original assets rake devs put into their games were lost as well as the copied parts. He needed to warn creators so that they could remove any copied assets beforehand
This "new game" RVVZ talks about is never coming out -- or at least not until the game completely dies again. In 2020, heck, even in 2019 RVVZ spoke of revamping The Rake, but he never released it until TRCE's player count fell to just about 50 in 2022. This is how RVVZ works. He talks about updating the game, leaving players anticipating it for YEARS on end and when they finally give up on the game THEN he releases it, leaving the game in this infinite loop of decline. The unfortunate thing is most Rake players don't see through these empty promises which allows RVVZ to continue his treatment of the game.

@@LordOmbra I disagree, RVVZ has already posted some screenshots of how the game is going to look which means he is working on this new game, TRCE didn't get screenshots that the rake was going to get a new update until 2021, you also have to keep in mind that RVVZ also develops other games like Criminality and has a life other than game developing.
@@yako9035 ur right about trce not getting screenshots but the trce release was prompted by rake beta being banned and not an official release date from rvvz. remastered had many leaks before it was released and yet it wasn’t released until almost 2 years after rvvz began talking about it which coincidentally was when trce dropped below 100 active. At the moment the next rake is looking to be the same way and while i did talk about rvvz developing crim in the video (he’s also only 19 so im sure he has other things to do in his life) the issue is not that he takes a long time to develop it’s that his release dates get massively delayed and often coincide with when his rake money stream stops which makes him look greedy and unconcerned for the state of the game

I really hate how @RVVZ got TRWP taken down knowing it would gut his community and make his fan base hate him for it and still did it anyway. He is really trying to still make money off of a game he said he was going to discontinue is just really greedy.
