I know the BBC thing at the beginning was supposed to be a porn joke, but before my mind grasped that, I literally was thinking "oh that's nice, Claire has been watching lots of British TV"
It's how we know it's a fine, reputable, and cultured channel
This morning I was out for a walk with my 10 year old son who asked "Dad, do you know what BBC is?"..... So I went "Uhhhh..... British Broadcasting Corporation?". Fortunately he wanted to tell me about some nature documentary he'd seen on there.
And no, not a documentary about big black cobras, you sick freaks! ;-)
My university has a martial arts club called Black Belt Club (BBC), and when describing it in writing, someone politely informed me that the abbreviation could be very easily misconstrued.
