Secondly, how have you all been doing? I hope summer has treated you well. Personally, I've used the last month to finally realise a dream and get myself an LP-player. So today, I'd like to share my tiny collection of records, all but one brand new.
As always, this video is intended for tingles and relaxation. It features a soft spoken voice with Austrian accent, music collection show and tell with quiet rambling, and some pointing and tracing.

Ooooh I love Tori Amos. There were years when she was almost all I listened to, but I also haven’t heard her recent work. This makes me want to explore what she’s been up to lately! Thank you for sharing your collection!
Same, at some point I stopped keeping up with her work, but the early albums are so special!
Finally managed to watch this without falling asleep, and wanted to thank you for introducing me to Mark Lanegan - I’m blown away ❤️
Ahh how awesome, thanks for telling me! ❤️ The cool thing with him is that there is such a giant back catalogue to explore, with so many different things to discover. Many hours of musical joy ahead!!

Mark and the Screaming Trees originate from a small town in Washington State, USA- Ellensburg, which is the next town over from me. 😂 I was surprised to hear you bring them up.

It really is peaceful time out with all of your creative ASMR. My favourite. I think it's your central Europe connection. The Austrian accent, hand movements and the long pointer. You also have this nordic influence that I like.
Not into streaming. Far better to own, hold, and physically put on the music. It's a ritualistic prelude to the vibrations of the music. Alas, my moderate vinyl collection has not grown since the late eighties. Carried it around from place to place. Need to get another turntable.

And here I am, envying everyone who still has a vinyl collection from the 80s lol! I'm sure there are a lot of memories tied to it, too. And yes, I absolutely agree, there's something special about that little ritual of picking out on album and putting it on - I'm trying to also really take my time and enjoy just listening to music instead of having it on in the background. Though I have to say, I find streaming useful too, just under different circumstances. There are a couple of great artists I've found that way which I don't think I would have heard otherwise.

Nice vid. I saw Tori in concert in '95, during her Under the Pink tour (for her second solo album). Incidentally, that's the album "Cornflake Girl" is on.

A classic heavier album for your collection would be Scream Bloody Gore by Death. All of their albums are great to me but it's their debut album from 1987 so it gives off that awesome vinyl vibe. Not sure if you're into death metal though haha
Now that's an interesting suggestion - I don't think I've ever listened to Death, but I remember Sound of Perseverance came out just as I got into metal and it was everywhere at the time. I'll definitely check out the album, thank you!

Ah and I have a recommendation for you now. 😊 You like Norway, right? There's a good Norwegian band called Highasakite which has blown me away this year... 🤩 Especially songs like Can I Come Home and Samurai Swords (acoustic). Highly recommended. 👍😊
