Awesome episode, I grew up in Wisconsin great to see you Guys riding the back roads, my Grandparents had a farm outside Richland Center, very neat seeing S&S and Klock Werks I don’t understand it all, those guys sure do, thanks for dragging me back home.
I’m eager to participate in Homecoming next year-my first time! Even better, I’d love to do it with the 2Lane Crew. As a native Minnesotan, I know the best routes to and from Milwaukee, along with amazing places to eat and explore along the way. I would be thrilled to serve as a guide for our trip, whether it’s from here to there or the other way around. Let’s make it an unforgettable experience together! Best, Cheers Trucker Tim
wanted to say thank yall for the inspiration. I went out and bought my dream bike. Found a 2019 Road Glide special in scorched orange and black (with 13k miles) with stage 2 audio, lowers added, tour pack added, and OHLINS suspension front and back. Picked it up last Tuesday and drove 300 miles back to the house, installed the luggage rack wed evening, and left Friday morning from Texas and hit Taos NM on Day 1. Day 2 we drove to Gunnison Colorado, then back to Taos on Sunday. Monday we headed back home on a 400 mile day, 200 of it was in heavy rains....UGGG> what A trip though....we went from 2000 feet elevation all the way up to 12.2K feet. All complete it was 1700 miles in less than a week and I was amazed to find out I averaged about 50 MPG overall. Incredible views in Colorado. Hoping we can do sturgis in the next year or so.
That's so awesome!1 Thanks a ton for all of the support and for sharing your story. Sounds like you wasted no time on that one and hit the road right off the bat! No better way to do it. As you know, the rain is just a part of the process sometimes but it makes ya appreciate the clear days. We're glad to hear you had a fun trip. See ya down the road!!
Your videos are a blessing to me and my Wife, may God always protect you all on all your adventures, please say hello to Teresa and Laura for us. We Love you fellers! Thank you.
Loved it gents. Noticed at the start you filled up your bike while seated. 😳 In Australia they want turn the pump on or if you share they will cut it off and tell you off over the loud speaker. That S&S factory was excellent. Some much history. Bring on the next episode 👍
Yea these bikes have a center fill hole which seems to fill up more when standing the bike up which is why we sit on them while filling. Definitely no strict laws like that out here aside from a few states that require a pump attendant to fill gas for you. Thanks for tuning in!!
Great video as always! The S&S plant is on a ride that the Midwest Rally has in the 2nd weekend in July every year base in Winona MN, the riding up in that area are awesome. The Thrashing bars and risers are looking mighty nice on those 24’s? Keep the rubber on the down side!
Thanks Mark! We were excited to see it along the road and get the chance to check it out! Definitely loving the setup on the new bikes. Thanks for tuning in
So sorry you didn't have a great experience at whistle binkies by the lake. Not known for steaks. It's a pub. Scotch eggs. I think you should have gone to Texas Roadhouse. Or newts would have been great food and atmosphere
Laughing at Josh, I stayed at that same place in Rochester for the CVMA National Meetings and camped at the same Perkins, lol. I will say I had a much better dinner then Binkies. I had a slab of Canadian Walleye at Canadian Honker Restaurant in Rochester that was delicious. I'll have to keep that in mind on visiting Brian and Klockwerks. I've had his windshields on every bike of mine since 2010. Big fan.
Haha sometimes it just happens that way on the road. That night's stay made us appreciate the rest. Thanks for tuning in, Daniel! Glad you enjoyed the video and had a better time in Rochester ahaha
Back when I was in high school, you could buy HD tees from Lake Shore HD in Waukegan, IL. One of the shirts you could buy said Lake Shore HD…Home of Warner Riley’s Worlds Fastest Sportster!
Great video! Whistle Binkies in Rochester is a go to for Bar food. Great burgers and sandwiches, they have lots of different items that I think you guys would have actually been impressed with. definitely wouldn’t have recommended a steak there. Rochester has some good steakhouses if you ever get back to the area. Again great video, fun to see you guys go right through my area! Ps we don’t all talk with that Fargo accent! “Lol.
Yea we shoulda known better. Definitely more of a bar food spot. We got some good recommendations after the fact so we'll have to check 'em out at some point. Noted...no more Fargo accent 😂
You’re always “ripping” here and “ripping” there. Gotta remember, we slow down and LIVE life here in the Midwest. Slow down and smell the prairie boys.
If I knew you were coming through Rochester.....you would not have eaten at whistle binkies for sure, there are better places....come back to Rochester and we'll make it up to you . ON US....
We got back from a 7 day trip Monday night and had one day to edit, upload, and market a video that usually takes 4-5 days to put together and do the same. Many corners were cut to get it out on time, including the coloring process. Thanks for the input.
Thanks for the S&S drop in . Wow great.
No problem 👍
Great episode team 2LL! Awesome editing Josh! Thanks for sharing another piece of American motorcycle history. 👍👍

Right on
"22 steaks in 22 days" made me spit out my coffee 😂😂😂
We are happy to say that Josh accomplished his goals of 20 steaks in 20 days. It was hard work, but someone's gotta do it 🤝
Josh, your work is far superior to all the others. Love my Wednesday viewing. Keep up the good work brother
Thank you for saying that! We're always glad to hear the videos are appreciated. Seeya on the next one, Stuart!

he’s exactly right…if a steakhouse is hiding its beef under a “sauce” its typically due to poor quality meat
Agreed!!
Nothing better than riding the Midwest 2 lanes.
True that!!

Honest question, how the hell does Josh keep his hair so nice after wearing a helmet all day? What’s he doing?
For only 3 easy payments of $99.99 we will tell you the secret...
Lol if its long enough, a quick brush or hat does the trick
@@2LaneLife take my money 😂
You’ll need to return to MN for another steak. That was not a good representation!
We will find redemption sometime down the road. Maybe take us to your favorite steak joint 😉
Kinda like the Josh narrative.
