    Of all the videos for bullet journal, this is the only one that makes sense. Thank you.

    Do you do a combo of this and PARA? Do you just have these in a spot in PARA?

      Hi - I use the Bujo method to quickly capture notes, ideas, etc., into my Super Note (e-ink tablet). But ultimately, information is saved in OneNote using the PARA framework. This is my current setup, as I process is frequently evolving.

    This is the most simple, effective way to use OneNote as a Bujo I have ever seen! Most make it way more complicated. Thank you for sharing!

    How do I insert a meeting link into a cell?

    • @HabuBeemer
      @HabuBeemer 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have found that you can open the calendar and click on the event and drag and drop it onto a OneNote page and it will create a link back to the calendar. It will have a small notation on what the meeting event is but you can add more text to it. Also you can add a tag to the link as well and the tag will show up when you search tag search option.

    Just echoing the comments of others that this is the simplest, but most effective video on making a Bujo with OneNote. I created mine along with watching. Thanks so much!

    One reason I love OneNote is because I can search for tags. I wasn't sure how to migrate tasks because if I cut and paste an item, the To-Do tag comes with it and then if I do a search that item will be listed twice. Watching your video I had such a "I could've had a V8" moment when you showed your "Migrate to Next Week"/"migrate to Future Log" tag. Because when I copy today's task to next week, I can change the To Do tag to Migrated and then the task only shows up once when I do a tag search. omg so simple and I thought others might find this helpful. oh! and once I created my layout (whether weekly, monthly, etc), I saved it as a template so I can automate it moving forward. PS: I'm a big fan of your videos. No BS, straight to the point yet thorough. Thanks for sharing!

    How about creating a ON template with all these stuff for download? You can share it online & get some feedback.

    I work in OneNote strictly on a computer (no pen input). It seems to me it would be easier to Insert an Excel spreadsheet, rather than pasting it in as a calendar etc. That way you can "highlight" by filling the cell with color, or even type in the cells.

    • @AndyPark365
      @AndyPark365  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yes, if you're strictly using OneNote on your computer then what you're suggesting seems more efficient. There's no right or wrong way with this. Whatever works best for you is the right solution ☺️. Thanks for the comment.

    Isn't it redundant to have same tasks in the month view as well as in the week views? I am a bit confused. Do you then have multiple tags for same thing. When completed do you then go and tick both in month and week view the same task? If you add a new task in the middle of the week do you then go and add it to the month?

    • @Aerynrox
      @Aerynrox 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, and I think (emphasis on me possibly being wrong) that's because in a true bullet journal the daily pages are really supposed to be for accomplishments and not tasks. You list the tasks, appointments, etc. that you completed each day rather than the ones you still need to complete. In that way, your bullet journal can function as a productivity log for your boss or similar. Perhaps watching some video tutorials on analog bullet journals might help. Good luck!

    Very good video. I am looking to move from paper to my iPad mini utilizing the pencil to satify the need to write. Surprised more people don't utilize One Note, but since it's not an Apple product, it's not sexy or cool enough for most. But it is logical, easy to use, integrates with the MS suite, and is generally free. Question... what tool do you use for your daily calendaring?

    • @AndyPark365
      @AndyPark365  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Mike - For meetings and work events I use the Outlook calendar. For personal events and activities I use the Google Calendar. Key dates and events are captured in my SuperNote in the bullet journal format. I know this is redundant and maybe not the most efficient, but it works for me.

    For me, I don't get why Task & Events need to be separated, or why Calendar & Tasks need to be 2 apps. They are the same - Tasks are events.

    • @swasthik1796
      @swasthik1796 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      task and events both are different. Tasks will be overdue until you finish. Events are done on time even you missed the event.

      Hi Marta - I tried to look into this for you, but was unable to find info on OneNote shortcuts for French keyboard. If I come across any info that might help, will be sure to post a comment here. Thanks.
