VV Cloudy Pop Book is a video compilations tape that includes a video for each song off of Nookicky’s ‘Cloudy Pop Book.’ The videos are filmed in an almost documentary style as the band travels from country to country, showcasing stunning instances of endemic scenery, cityscapes, fashion & culture, all presented through the eyes of Nookicky. The tape starts with a clip of Full reading, from that point, there are intermittent appearances of the small book shown translating written or drawn scenes into moving life, like a comprehensive story being read (or shown) to the viewer. The videos flow together with B-roll footage and music added in between serving as a pipeline, or sometimes with two songs completely meshing as one spiderwebs into the next. This tape makes for a unique watching experience akin to watching a short film..
A DVD version of ‘VV Cloudy Pop Book’ was later made available for purchase under the name ‘NOOKED,’ along with ‘VV PINCHA POOL’, a compilations tape with a very similar concept to the first.
