Some people like me loves AAA titles with good story. I never play multiplayer games. AAA titles should always rule the gaming industry.

Wokeness is not a big issue in India, compared to the West. So I don't think most people would relate to the issue. We are already too much consumed in religion.
The real reason is that the AAA wants now higher and higher specs . Every new game now and then wants the user to upgrade their devices so that they could run their games smoothly. And multiple games are released in a year now . Its not possible for people to spend their money for upgrading their setup continuously with such high prices.
For the same reason I quit PC games since last 4/5 years..
That's how it's always been? Were you here in the 2000s? because every single year felt like you needed to upgrade. Console ports to PC never ran well even back then and games like Crysis wrecked your hardware easily because of their single thread limitations. PC Gaming is no worse now than it was back then. In fact, it's only better if you consider PC ports.

Baldur's gate 3, RE4 Remake, Legend of Zelda TOTK, Alan Wake 2, Dead Space Remake, Hi Fi Rush, Lies of P, Super Mario Wonderlands etc. all came out last year and were great single player games. This year, Like a Dragon IW, Persona 3 Reload, FF7 Rebirth, Stellar Blade, Hellblade 2, Prince of Persia etc. all were great singleplayer games. Don't know what this guy is smoking cause the last two years in Singleplayer games have been the best since 2017 or 2018.

I never followed Dragons Dogma series, but I can confirm Capcom being one of the most illogical company. First they wanted to create Resisent Evil a Horror franchise. The first 3 games followed this. Then they made RE4 having a different type of horror. Seeing this horror thing they introduced Dino Crisis but then that series didn't get the love from the company. They made RE5 and RE6 action games in which I still prefer 6 in terms of some gameplay elements(because 5 and 6 both were bad games). The thing is in horror games you have to limit the player smartly which was amazing in the reboot RE7 biohazard. Re2 followed the same but then what striked their mind to destroy the 3make and make one of the most terrible RE game, RE Village. Their comeback with RE4 R made me gain faith again but still, limiting DMC5 to easy difficulty and taking different takes which don't even fit the theme is a common problem of their team. The Beta team that developed 3make, village and separate ways improved over time, but they seriously need to change that team. RE: Verse was another disappointment. Now they are making RE9 open world just brings me to one fact, only fans can save Resident Evil now.

Now in games rather than gameplay we ask for near realistic graphics, maybe that is the problem. A excellent gameplay with decent graphics is enough for single player story games.❤

One of the main problem of new single player games are Always Online Thing. For example not everyone is able to pay 60 dollars to play a remake of their favorite game Like CODMW(2019) i liked the game and its graphics but it has been 5 yrs and still any crack of that game hasn't released bcz OF AlwAyS oNliNe thing and that is making harder for gamers like us to play and enjoy new games
