I’m hoping they had a bunch of new designs in the pipeline that got postponed because of the ATF but now that we are winning they will have a bunch come out soon.
I actually need a brace (bullet in left arm) i think every rifle should have a brace for the added ability...unless you have a shock absorber stock doing other things for you.
Finally they fixed the QD position. I never liked how far forward it is on the SBA4, and the SBA3 had it tucked up into a corner so no sling swivel could actually swivel. The wider gap looks instantly easier to take on and off the forearm. It has the diagonal supports of the SBA4, unlike the SBA3 which looks nicer until you use it a few times, at which point it becomes sloppy and difficult to keep aligned when not in use. This will likely replace both my current braces.
I think left handed people do….. you know, because they’re physical handicapped because they can’t figure out how to use their right hand like the rest of us normal people.
Is there a cheek riser you know of that will fit on this? When resting my cheek on it, my red dot sight is too high so I can’t shoulder it properly. Serious question lol not a joke, I understand the laws so this is all hypothetically speaking.
It’s just a standard milspec buffer tube. I have had it on a couple different guns and didn’t have any issues. You do need to pull the adjustment lever down pretty hard to get it to slide on.
Function wise, they are probably going to be the same. The both have some different characteristics that would matter depending on what you’re trying to accomplish. I like the look of the PDW but it doesn’t allow for a folding stock. Which is what I wanted for this particular firearm. If I had a regular AR15 where the stock doesn’t fold then I would probably pick the PDW
@@combatreadychannel I appreciate the response. I’m looking at psa’s freedom week sells and they have a hbpdw lower for $299, but there’s also a sba5 lower for $229. For aesthetics and a shorter profile, I’d love the pdw. Though, I’m making a 7 inch ar9 build and someone informed that the hbpdw isn’t compatible with a hydraulic buffer. I guess I was mostly curious if the extra $70 was worth it beyond aesthetics.
basically the nfa is unenforceable at this point by its spirit. they consider you just as bad having a brace as if you had a stock so what's the difference to them?
Yes. It looks much more like a stock. Let’s just say it. It’s much sturdier and offers a better cheek rest….oh wait, that’s right, no one will rest their cheek on it. 😂
After trying all the SB Tactical braces. They are either to fat or the rubber flexes weird. I prefer the Tippmann T5 over them all. They are for some reason expensive now. Its sturdy, has good adjustment, looks more m4ish, rubber doesn't flex weird ways. Only complaint is the qd isnt anti rotational. I use the magpul ones on .22's (thats about all the blade styles are good for imo).
@@combatreadychannel I am probably talking it up slightly. I've heard there were issues with the screw in the adjuster breaking. I haven't experienced that. It is a company that makes airsoft and .22lr AR's. (Different companies, same people) My first one came from my Tippmann micro elite bugout. I put it on a PSA 11.5" pistol with a carry handle and really liked it. I bought 3 more for other things. They used to be $50 before they tried pushing the pistol brace rule. They are over $100+ now. I've either sold or given away all my SB braces.
There is some good news. It looks like there are some court cases that are going in the 2As favor and we may be getting back some of our constitutional rights. Hopefully we won’t need to play games anymore 🤞🏻
They should have called it the cheek weld 5000 just to spite them 😂😂
😂
That's gold
Just bought two from PSA. Thanks for the update!
👍nice!
Keep buying and let all your friends, family know. Spread the word to the millions.
it definitely looks better than the earlier models.
Can’t disagree with that.
Thank for getting straight to it. Subscribed. I can’t wait to see what they make for my CZ Scorpion 3+.
I’m hoping they had a bunch of new designs in the pipeline that got postponed because of the ATF but now that we are winning they will have a bunch come out soon.
And thanks for subscribing!!!!
They should make one named the SB-Abolish
That would be the perfect name!
Should have called it the SMD-ATF model
Per the 2017 ruling, the Atf stay we are allowed to shoulder pistol braces. Could be different where you live though
Top Tier trolling by SB 🤣
They definitely look a lot sleeker. Pretty cool.
It definitely looks a lot better.
Waiting for an updated Ak brace
I haven’t seen anything to indicate they are make another ak specific one. They are kind just relying on the 1913 picatinny rail adapters for the AK

I have actually thought the same thing. Put an arm brace on every rifle just in case you get injured
@@combatreadychannel I loop paracord through mine so I always have extra. I have a braced DD MK18...its the family scout rifle

Sba3 is still the best imo
split fix and never go back

Who is putting their forearm into it? 😆

You sir have earned my respect and gained a subscriber.@@combatreadychannel

It does not appear to have any type of cheek riser attachments.
Just looks cooler
Pretty much.
so can you shoulder this one too?
What buffer tube? I’ve been trying so many mil spec and none fit.

This is a great dancing video... IYKYK!

In your opinion. how does it fair against the hbpdw?

did an fde version ever release? i have the black sba5 but cant find the fde version in stock anywhere on the internet
I haven’t seen any FDE but it is normal for them to produce it in that color. It seems like they are having a hard time getting it in black.
What buffer tube did you use for your SBA5?
Does the sba5 have a metal locking piece inside the brace that goes into the buffer tube? Some other videos looked like it was now plastic.
Mine is plastic
Do you have to change the bolt tube ?
Nope, it uses the standard carbine buffer tube.
Didn't brandon say that would turn it into a gun or something like that?
Brandon says a lot of stuff that doesn’t make any sense!!
what folding stock adapter is that
This is the sig sauer adapter
www.sigsauer.com/parts/stocks.html
Can you put a sling attachment on there ?
I’m just wondering why you would put a brace on a rifle length ar.
It’s a 12.5” barrel. So it’s not a rifle length.

What type of rifle is it?
This is the Foxtrot Mike 102

At this point it's just a stock with a piece of velcro. 😂
I’m going to plead the 5th and let the courts decide what is and is not a stock with Velcro 😂
That "stock with velcro" is the only thing preventing the government from raising the cost of a SBR tax stamp to $5,000.
This looks to be influenced by the Q brace collaboration design.
🤔yeah, it does has some similarities to the Q brace.
Just fold under each side of the sba3 inward and tighten it.

Awesome man!

Reminds me of my bcm stock
Lol if your pistol brace identifies as a stock or vice versa. Or just write on the stock - this is a brace.
Its pro nouns are pistol/revolver! Now they can’t touch it 😂

Its just so ugly! I went with the HBPDW brace instead
That one is pretty slick looking!
Braces are such a waste. I wish we didn't have to play these stupid games!

This clown put his forearm through the brace. As if it is made for that.
