I agree 💯. They are actors and their job is to make the on-screen fantasy believable. No one should insist they stay in character during interviews and fan meets. So unrealistic and unfair to everyone.

yes mas mabuti ng sa simula palang alam na ng fans kung ano ba talaga kayo. ung dapat kung ano kayo un ung ipakita nyo. kasi kung para fan service kayo baka maging delusional pa fans tas yun tas di naman pala talaga kayo romantically involve or like each other dyan na magiging against sayo yung fans nyo.

Kaya ganyan tanungan ni Toni Gonzaga ay para maging klaro sa mga FANS na hindi porket ng BL ka o nagkaroon ka ng loveteam eh may mabubuo kang feelings sa naging ka-loveteam mo. Minsan kasi, comment ng comment na ganito ganyan na sana sila na lang o na sana magkadevelopan na lang sila which is nakakairita na. Kung nafeel mo yung kilig factor sa dalawa, ibig sabihin lang non eh magaling silang actor. Hindi yung ipupush mo na sana maging sila.
Maging sensitive tayo minsan. May mga sari sarili din silang buhay at sana galangin natin yon.

I'd rather fall in love with the characters than the actors kasi if we love the actors more than the characters, merong tendency that people will ship the actors together when they know they are just portraying their roles the best they can. I love JC, I'm falling in love sa character ni Mico. And for Tony good job for taking the role and play the character of Xavier. Looking forward to more kilig moments. You're all doing a great job of making us fall in love especially during this pandemic.

That’s true! Uncontrollable ang feelings ng bawat isa. Choice mo nalang kung papadala ka o hindi. Pero kung na in love ka sa kapwa mo, doesn’t mean, gay ka. Kc merong lalake na naiinlove sa kapawa nya physically, not sexually. May mga lalake pa rin nila na hindi maatim yun pagtatalik sa kapwa kaya yung iba habal lang nila is companionship lang.

I think kaya ganyan mga sagutan ni tony medyo may ilang or may hesitation na parang di niya gusto ung ginagawa niya kasi nga may mga issue sa kanya dati na gay siya diba. Parang nag iingat lang sya. Na baka mahusgahan nanaman sya. Pero sa pag kuha niya ng project na yan nagpapakita lang na matapang siya na harapin na lahat ng binabato sakanya ay mga kasinungalingan.
Kasi kung di niya tatanggapin yan mas lalong ma iissue syang in denial sya sa ganyang klaseng role. Pagpapakita lang na hindi sya naiilang at kaya niyang tanggapin ang project na yan.

BL is a genre from Japan way back 1970’s (yaoi) it was written to ship straight anime characters with each other.. written by straight women for straight women. to say that it came from thailand is not that accurate.

Just wanna share my honest opinion. I couldnt help but notice how Toni G had to simplify Tony's answer to the 1st question which was for me a sugarcoated no. Well yeah i get the point nman na it was only a role an actor had to play. But its a series kasi eh, and theres more to watch out for and its showbusiness..you have to make your answer believeable to make the series sell (even more). Na nbawi nman ng sagot ni JC. Also, how Toni G carried the interview. Galing. #xavmi 😍

The question shouldn't been asked in the first place. They are actors, and its they're job to act and bring life to a character. The interview should focused on the movie/story, character and cinematography

We are International fan with out like subtitles on every BL series coming out of the Philippines and from Thailand if you do not put English subtitle how we going to support you cannot support you if you do not put English subtitles for us thank you make sure you have English subtitles for international plan who only speak English
as much as i want to help, i cant put subtitles. You can read comments for now since all pinoys speak and write comment in english. Lets just wait when they will put subtitles every interviews

The usual roles of gays and bisexuals in the entertainment industry is comedy, most are making fun of by audiences and by themselves and in local gay pageants ,that this series is so different and welcoming. Maybe this series will somewhat bring respect to the LGBT.

Luh.. Tony's answer to the first question seems like a jab at too much fan service or a warning... His tone was stern. You see JC pursing his lips at that response. This is reality I guess, when the fandom is so attached and starts to expect more than what they see on screen. Some might feel obliged to accommodate and that is the start of the conflict..
I think it's an implication that is not only pointed towards BL fans but even fans of straight couples. Many fans of straight couples are somewhat similar to BL fans when it comes to dedication to their biases.
Anyways, what I get from his statements is more on the method acting that many actors utilize where they lose their sense of self and have rather immersed to their characters to the point that when the actors use it in romcoms and they become entangled romantically with their partners, it's bound that their relationship may not lead to favorable ending and could lead to certain conflicts along the way. From what I've seen in one of Tony's interviews, he mentioned about a direct approach in his personality. So I think, from what I get from his statements, he is more apt to link romantically with his partner on his partner's real self based on the question thrown at him.
@@blanalyst1637 i super agree. simply said Tony just want to say that he can romantically like his partner but it is important for him to know his boundaries. plain and simple. besides JC Alcantara is not that hard to love or like. He is just adorable in so many ways.

Maganada yung chemistry ng dalawang ML. Dapat i.embrace nalang sana ni Tony, kc “ka-loveteam” niya talaga si Jc at ang pangit tignan na tuwing fanservice, si Jc lang ang nagdadala ng fictional relationship nila para lang mapasaya ang mga audiences nila.
