the beauty of Rumis wisdom is beyond any religions....it's simply universal...free of cult...dogma...sectarianism...he speaks what truly is....
MADNESS,
This madness, this drunkness,
And this forgetfulness,
is Love and of Love,
Here I come to the tavern,
I took the wine and fill this cup,
In my frenzy
I dance in madness,
I know it hurts others
and rightly so,
But my Love has no end,
no beginning,
As I took the garment of my Beloved,
And in ultimate joy I praise Him.
My journey of Love
took me to a place,
It looked quite strange
and so unfamiliar,
But still I had to go through it,
To meet my Friend,
My Beloved there,
So, I took my voyage,
to ferry the ship,
To that unknown place
though strange,
But I know my Beloved will find me there,
To hold and enlace me as His own,
Thus I grab His garment,
And tie it to a single knot of Love,
I will not let it lose or slip away from my hands,
In the recess of my heart,
Being a reflection,
Holding as a mirror,
To see the image,
What I see in it
is only Love, Love, Love -----

The overwhelming majority of English speakers only know him by the nesbat "Rumi" and only for that reason have I made that the title of the video. I have mentioned in the description his full name as Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi.
