i tore my ligaments on my right knee and i feel your pain bro, glad you recovered good from when i caught your next skate session on the football goals :D
@@MAARTN personally I recovered to a point I couldn't even notice I ever did it, just remembered the silent breath taking pain from how your video showed it, breaking toes and bumping that again after years is 1000x worse :D
I see in this video and the last video the Weather Report stuff.I remember when I first heard them I needed all their records because they are just goldmines.
Nice to see you expand into other musical territories. You could do some research into and buy a spring reverb eventually, it’s really fun experimenting with organic effects like those.
Glad to see another upload. Totally getting a couple of the vinyl things (send them this video and ask for affiliate cash$$$$€€€££) Thanks for everything man
Hi Maarten, nice videos you post, good beats! I like it that you use the mpc instead of the newer gear. Just curious: are you from The Netherlands or from Belgium?
always beautifull beat thanks you re an inspiration . i want to buy an sp and i need some advise why do you prefere the sp 12 turbo to the sp 1200 and how do you save on it.
Thanks man! I would prefer the SP1200 over the 12, but the 12 turbo is much cheaper because of the lower sampling time (only 5 sec instead of 10 sec). That's why I have a 12 and not a 1200. You can save on the 12 by using the really old school floppy disks from commodore or you can save by using the cassette mode. But I never tried that. Good thing about the 12 is that your samples aren't gone when you turn the power off. They are only gone if you delete them manually. Peace!
you keep real hip hop alive! peace from germany
Peace yo!! 👊
Beautiful vibes ,thank u Maartn !!! HipHoooop

Thx! I use Adobe Premiere most of the time for editing
Bro you're awesome.
You too, thx for commenting!
Ruff!
How many kHz do you sample on the s950 ? For drums
Don't do much drums in the s950, mostly use the 60 or the SP for drums. But if I use the 950, it depends in the beat sometimes from 9k to 11k
eyyy im in the vid
where can I buy your tunes?
I have bandcamp, but only have like 2 songs on there. I hope to be on Spotify in the near future, I will announce it on my channel once I'm on there!
What was the record you missed at the record shop ?
It was a Dutch Jazz/Rock album. If I ever find it, might put it in a video, but for now I'll leave it a secret lol
What are the name of track that start playing on 3:20?)
Berry White - The Man Is Back
@@MAARTN thank you
what's your fav reggae / dub album?
you gotta do a full project, that'd be crazy dope
That's a hard one! I really like Lee Perry & The Upsetters, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Freddy McGregor!
Peace!
@@MAARTN wow, try some dub specialist studio one albums there sick af you probably already know

Thx my bro! Haha yes letting it grow for a few days now
8:55 scared the shit out of me, who won the fight?
Haha, we took the dog away before it got to the snake. It wasn't a dangerous one either luckily
Silly but I just picked up a Hair record Friday.
What a coincidence indeed, hope you find some stuff on it. Pz!
@@MAARTN Thanks! I'll see what I find and make a beat and upload on IG.
Great vid man, as always. Did you know that Joe Mansfield was part of the Vinyl Reanimators?
Thanks! No, I didn't know. How cool is that guy haha
I have that same hair record
