Been watching your videos for years. The Jordan 11, 12 and 13 are my 5th grade through middle school years and that’s when my love for shoes began. Growing up in a single mother household, I was never able to get these but now that I have a new born son and I cannot wait to share my passion for shoes with him. I have been stocking up on every Jordan 11 - 13 I can get.
I’ve been into sneakers since I was a kid. The Air Jordan 13 was my first Jordan ever in 1998. I had the black and red pair but when I saw that flint grey, I was amazed! I think they still hold up well and are the best looking one of the 3 you’ve shown
Hey my name is Russ. I'm 45 yrs old. Been into sneakers since the early late 80s early 90s. My favorite of the flint is the red but the black flint is coming quick as my second favorite!! Keep doing what your doing. It's great to watch a real sneaky show and not worrying about u pushing some agenda on us!! Wear what u like!!!
I have been a sneakerhead since the AJ1, so your history lessons are on point. My first J13 pair is the flint, but having the red and now with the black, they are all beautiful to me.
Im 37 i got to watch mike play as a kid the og flint is the best. My mom could never afford to buy me jordans if she could it was team jordans. But 11s and 13s and 4s and 5s always stood out to me and 8s
AJ13 are my favorites. Thankfully they are not hype and a nice stress free buy. Can’t wait for these. Been a sneaker head since 1999. Blue Black Then red.
I am not always crazy about 13s...I do like a few and don't hate them either. But these are gorgeous. The contrast between the black and then white tongue/toe makes the colors pop. These will be on foot
I've loved kicks since 2nd grade. Which was 1995. Prime Eastbay years. I loved to go through each page of the catalog and pick one item I wanted. I'd rank them Black, Blue, then Red but they're all beautiful.
Born in ‘74 was buying kicks since ‘82 with the AF1’s and going to the Bronx from Queens just for the hype colors. I was 8 then and by the time I was 13 I was ready for my first pair of Jordan’s. Already 2 years behind on them I had no choice but to start working off the books to start my collection. 35 yrs later the only thing that’s changed is my jobs/ career and where I live !
The blue flints have a special place in my heart because that’s where my love for Jordan’s began in elementary school. BUT these black flints are DIFFERENT. Absolutely beautiful shoe.
I love all your videos, but this might be my all time favorite one, from your breakdown of the history, teaching the tech specs and EVERY SINGLE CUTAWAY CLIP HAS ME 😂😂. Definitely shows you put your 10,000 hours in. JUST DO IT! Cheers! Almost forgot… I choose the flint reds because those are the ones I own 😁
been into sneakers since late 80s. didn't have the financial stability to really start collecting until the last decade, but I'm making up for lost time. I'd rock BK knights, Ponies, and Reebok blacktops and slobber over my friends jordans and reebok pumps. I had a couple pair of Air Trainers as a kid, so they remain one of my favorites. My favorite colorway of the flint 13 series is probably the black now.
I'm 52 and have been wearing Jordans since the beginning in 1985...3s are the ones that really got me hooked ...I wear all of them to the 13s except 7s 8s 9s and 10s
These are nice day 1 for me....Been into sneakers my whole life born and raised in Chicago and of course watching the Jordan ERA , I had the original Air Jordan 3 and 4s when they were $$99 - $108! With tax ,Jordan 4 Bred and White Cements are the Greatest sneakers of all Time in my humble opinion
I got into sneakers in the mid 90s, around the time MJ came out of retirement. Loved the Shaqnosis, all of the Jordans at the time, the Grant Hill 2s, etc. It’s still my favorite sneaker era. I couldn’t afford them back then; I am glad I can now! I am so excited for these Black Flints. And as far as the And1 Rises go, I copped a pair of those too because of your video. I was a huge Chauncey Billups/Pistons fan back in the day, so I had to have them!
Fell in love with sneakers in 94..and when the flints 1st came out in 98 I couldn't get a pair because I was just a kid and my Dad wasn't paying that type of money for sneakers.. almost 30 years later i have 5 pairs of flints and and almost every 13 colorway.... love this shoe! Great review!!!
Having always loved Jordan’s but never able to afford them as “tax season” was my only chance to get higher quality sneakers growing up. Now I finally have a job that allows me to spend money without worrying about bills. At 25 years old I finally got my first pair of Jordans and the Black Flint 13’s were the ones!
Born 1985... growing up TBH, my family couldnt afford J's... i had maybe two pair as a youth. I remember coming to school and seeing all the fly kids who would rock literally a new pair like every two weeks! Fast forward to now, Im in a position to relive my past Jordan obsession as an adult 👨🏾. Definitely makes me appreciate them more... toothbrush, soap and a rag have been my friends for over 30 years😅
I’m an OG sneakerhead and have been in the game for over 30 years, I would say 13s are my favorite Jordan model since I’ve own more 13s than any other model, those sneakers are clean, very simple to match fits, Vegas Raiders or LA Kings fans gonna love them
Sneaker head since '89. Last original run Jordans bought was the 7. Had the 4s, 5s, 6s and 7s...GIANT fan if the late 80s, up until about 93-4 Jordans/Nikes.
Just copped (and I'll try and hit on SNKRS too). This completes my 13 Flint collection (for now). Say what you want but TO ME, 13's are the best Jordan's. MAKE 13's GREAT AGAIN!!!!
Since 91 the 6’s were the shoe that made fall in love with sneakers, but the raptor 7 or what I consider the playoff 7 were my very first pair! I didn’t even wear them to school I would take them to school in my backpack and wear them inside only 😂
I ABSOLUTELY have to have this shoe....hopefully it will be an easy cop...need one after the hard work to cop one pair of the 3s and took Ls on the 4s....great review sir!!!
I'm from the same era... and I think these black flints are pretty much my fav colorway of the 13s. You said it, something about the "black, grey, white" combo that just works.
Im an OG head, the he got games were my first ever pair of jordans back on xmas 97 and i have adored that model ever since, by FAR my favorite Jordan model of all time, i just about love EVERY colorway they come out with so i definitely share your enthusiasm with that model
I've always liked jordans but as a kid the flint 13s is what did it for me made me wanna be a sneaker head. I couldn't afford them back then now I have them. Flint 13 is my favorite shoe ever.
Born in 85 been a sneaker head since elementary...actually my first ever basketball shoe was reebok the answer Iverson shoe I had the black and yellow colorway I remember cause my friend from the hood let me wear them to school I rocked them so good he said "just keep them"
90's kid, and I remember seeing these in the EastBay magazine, in awe of the hologram (heel and sole), forever wanted a pair after that point but couldn't afford it. We got 1 pair of shoes per year, so seeing sneakers like this at the time was entirely wishlist. So while it took quite a while before I could ever buy the shoes I wanted, models like the Jordan 13 and Eastbay magazines certainly created that itch.
I've been into sneakers since the Shaq Attaq 1 in 1992 when I was 10. I really preferred the Shaq line to the Jordans in those days due to the tech. Instapump and old school hexalite had me sold. If I recall correctly, the Shaq line had graphite/carbon fiber before the Jordans as well. When I was in high school in the mid-90s, I was super into the Penny line and Uptempos. I pretty much had them all. My first Jordans were the cherry 12s, and what a world of difference better than any air-max shoe. Been collecting Jordans and retros ever since. I gotta admit that this channel is almost solely responsible for re-igniting my love for sneakers as an adult. Much love and respect from San Antonio, TX!
Got into sneakers in 2015 in my 12th grade when I got my first job. First Jordan purchase was the white/maroon Jordan 6 and then the Nike Air Max 1 The 6 afterward. the Black Flints I think look the best compared to the regular flint and the red flints. the Red jumpman on the tongue does it for me.
I was born in 2001, so I can't claim to have known what it was like to witness all the original OG Jordan releases. My first pair of Jordan's were the 2020 Flint 13's, which are still my favourite colour of the three, followed by the black, and then the red I'm not so keen on. As always, thank you for the review!
I've been into sneakers since middle school. The J8 was my first pair but when I got my first pair of J12's it was a wrap. To this day my favorite pairs in order are the 12's, 13's, 4's, 5's and the 1's. I like this order on the latest 13's: 1. OG Flint (blue) 2. Red Flint 3. Black Flint Also, the Brave Blue 13's are nice as well!!!
First pair I had was bred 11s never stopped since the 90s copped these late but for retail love 13s and the channel as per usual quality advice and entertainment.
Got to love the Air Jordan 13, hit a few game winners in high school in this silhouette back in 98. This my favorite of the flints. Will cop at least one.
Been into jordans since 2004, I remember when my brother came home with the bred/ black and red 13s and i remember looking at them and being in love ever since
I wouldn't say I was a collector of Jordan's in the 90s since they've always been an expensive luxury (that I mostly could not afford as a kid/teen), but I did buy a pair of the Obsidian 12s when I worked at Champs in the nineties (saved up my $5.15 per hour paychecks back then, lol). I wanted a pair of the Flint Grey 13s but I was never able to get a pair. I agree that this new Black Flint color way looks amazing and I would personally rank the color ways in this order: Black, Blue, Red. However, all three color ways are dope. What I did collect in the nineties were pogs, comic books and trading cards. I still have my full set of the X-men trading cards by Jim Lee, which I was only able to complete because I kept buying packs until I finally obtained the Wolverine hologram. Man, that was a crazy time in comics, when publishers were doing all of those gimmick covers like holograms, chrome, embossed, and so on.
I've been collecting sneakers since 1990. First memory I had about air jordans was in 1989 when I saw my friend sport the military 4's. ( I was like, what are those?) I've been a sneaker head ever since, for J's and all things jordan including my large autograph jordan collection that my kids will get when I'm gone, maybe even my shoe collection if they survive.
1st ever pair of Js i got was he-got-game 13s when i was 11. Ever since 13s have been my favorites. Just glad resellers dont pay attention to 13s nowadays. Able to walk in store grab a pair whenever. 🤙🏽
I was a junior in high school when the flint's came out. Unfortunately I wasn't able to cop but I did luck out with the black and red (breds) when they came out. I actually waited outside of sports zone to get those lol. Back in those days it was just a handful of people waiting like me not like how it is today sheesh. Class of 99 baby!!
I’ve been into sneakers since I bought my first pair in ‘97, the Pro Quick 6 (Eddie Jones JB signature) when he played for the Lakers. Loved that dudes game, style and sneakers. Saved my $$ all summer that year and bought the He Got Game XIII (favorite colorway) 🐾 Then my best friend came to school in ‘98 w/ the XIII Lows (Carolina Blue/Black) and I had to have those. My favorite J’s are 4’s, 13’s, 3’s and 12’s, in that order. 🏀
As a Boston Red Sox fan this made me so happy. I'll be 43 in May so this was my high school years. I love ordering the official Boston gear but Red/White/Blue can get a little much. I'm starting to buy official variants of my sports teams, and I always love the black version. Wish me luck in finding these things. Great show as always.
I'm 24, and 2007 we as when i first got hooked on sneakers. The OG Hyperdunks and the Kobe 4 were the shits. I still remember saving up money to buy a triple black LeBron 6 that was 2 full sizes too big but I rocked it until I grew out of them a few years later😂
I bought the Red Flints after watching that video. I have been using The Flints to play as well. Very fun performer. It feels that I played better when I wear Jordan 13.
The first dope sneaker that I got was the Nike Air Zoom Flight 98 The Glove. I remember rocking those and JNCO jeans on my first day of school in 8th grade. I have been hooked since.
Been addicted to sneakers since the mid 90s... Had the original flint 13s and I haven't brought 13s in awhile but this black color is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I am going to order these right now if I can....
I’ve been a sneaker admirer since I was a kid, just never had the money to get them until I was older, even then took me a while to really get going. Not saying I never got anything, had the kemps, the stoudamires, the grant hills, and if you can remember those converse rodmans(I was a kid). Now I have most of the sneakers I always wanted growing up, also, I’m 39, so I grew up in what I think might be the golden era of sneakers(the 90s). Missed out on the flint blue, and red, I can’t miss these.
I’ve been in and out of sneakers, but it all started with these back in 1998. 6th grade got my first Js Cherry 13s. Till this day I like to play on 13s. I like the OG blue the best, red is second but I would rather get the cherry 13s. These black ones are beautiful and would pick up once they go on sale to play on. Great content always like it. My wife’s favorite sneaker TH-cam mostly because she loves your wife’s take on things. Great job ❤❤❤
My order is 1. Blue Flints 1st jordan I fell in love with! Top 5 all time 2 black. Looks clean but I'll pass 3. Red, don't Like the combination I've been into sneakers since about 4th grade (born in 85) got into Jordans because of the flint 13. I saw them and fell in love. Lol. Them bred and cherry were also amazing. The next year, the black toe 14 was gorgeous, they need to Retro again
I remember my buddy Nick had the playoff 13’s back when they first came out he beat them things to death we were in 2nd grade that’s what made me always want them
I’m 52 years old but have only been into the Js since 2019 . My teenage daughters actually got me into the Jordan’s but I am mainly into the OGs because my memories of MJ was when he was wearing them but for some reason they didn’t appeal to me then Like they do now but I think these are nice but I’m not a big fan of 13s in general but I do have the playoffs and for now I think that’s all I need. As always great review I love to see you get excited about these shoes it makes me appreciate them more 👍🏾
I'm 39 and I've been into sneakers since middle school. My first pair of Jordans were the Playoff 13s when I was in 8th grade. My best friend had the breds. I don't like the red and white with the black pods. I gotta go with bred 13s as my favorite colorway but the black and blue ones that just came out are clean too.
Got into sneakers when I was 8-9 when Larry Johnson released his signature shoe with Converse (Grandmama). Coppin these black flint 13s...super clean. Rank #2 behind "blue' flints.
I wish And 1 would bring back the OG shirts with the blank face illustrations with the classic trash talking along with some new chirps. Always enjoy your content my guy, Blessings to you and your family 🤙🏽
My preference would be the Red Flint Grey. Talking about sneakers, I started liking them since around 2002-ish, but back then in highschool I didn't have any money. It started when my highschool team mate got Adidas Kobe 8. Lucky him. With magazines and stuff were my sources. Anyway I started buying one around 2006-ish and it was an And1 Fly Mid. And that was the only shoe I had for a couple of years before got Jordan True Flight White/Laser Blue/Black colour way after obliterated the And1's a few years later. Now, as a working father, still just looking at sneakers but not buying much as life priority changes. Judging from the videos, I think we grew up in the same era. That's why I love watching your videos. I can relate. At least whilst not having to purchase the shoes, I get to know tons about them and remind me of the past. Edited: SlamDunk anime also sparked my interest in sneakers. Forgot to mention that. Anyway, Keep up there good work!
Blue flint is the classic as is number 1 hands down, the red was a nice touch, but the black tip it for 2nd just because, as you said, u can drop it with almost everything
I was in middle school in ny when the 13s came out. So the flints were the closest to yankee colors on a Jordan so I would always favor that colorway on a 13. I think they really nailed it with the color blocking on these. The black is fire. Something about black/grey/sharp-white combo on a sneaker is almost always gonna look great.
🥇Blue 🥈Black 🥉Red Like you, Chris, i was the kid who had monthly Eastbay magazines (RIP) since i was like 9-10 memorizing the tech, the materials, design patterns, etc… i then worked at a Finish Line in high school where i put that expertise to great use.
My favourite is this NEW 2023 Black Flints for sure! I just think it’ll match a lot of stuff, hard not to mesh it with anything, very versatile color. Looks awesome on feet I might add. Black goes with everything, will rock it with a lot of outfits. Obviously the classic colorways are OG but this new color has me going for it for sure! I’ve been into shoes or sneakers since high school, took a break from it, went back to it in college, took another break, finally got into it again in 2018 I would say…. Lol 😂 sneaker game is crazy!
2010. Before that it was skateboard shoes. So probably since early teans. 2010 I was gifted my first pair of Jordan the bred esternos. A guy I worked with was surprised I never owned Jordans. So he hooked me up with a free pair. Loved the patent leather on them. Before that it was fallen and emerica skate shoes and vans.
I’m new to the sneaker game. I got into sneakers after the Super Bowl halftime show that had Eminem. There was so much hype behind the custom Jordans that Eminem wore that I had to get into them. Since then, I’ve gotten about 15 sneakers and I always watch your videos. I live in sac, so its cool supporting local TH-camrs like WearTesters!
Bruh...the OG Flint 13s from 1998 were my first ever jordan! I got them after I had just joined the military & found them & the cherry 13s at a Nike outlet in Phoenix. Both were on sale for $40 & I used my military discount on them!
Been watching your videos for years. The Jordan 11, 12 and 13 are my 5th grade through middle school years and that’s when my love for shoes began. Growing up in a single mother household, I was never able to get these but now that I have a new born son and I cannot wait to share my passion for shoes with him. That crazy my first Jordan was the playoff 12’s in 1998
I sold crack to get mine, now that's dedication! And they weren't my first pair, but I got away from Jordan's after the 13s...
The BLACK don’t flow with that sneaker
@@trustdaprocess5707 the black is perfect
That’s so ironic! My first pair were the flint 13’s. I would wear them with everything even when they didn’t match 😂
Hey my name is Russ. I'm 45 yrs old. Been into sneakers since the early late 80s early 90s. My favorite of the flint is the red but the black flint is coming quick as my second favorite!! Opening of this video went hard. Love it.
That box transition from blue to red, was a nice touch for the intro. Now I want to see a colorway tier list. Flint, unc, field/court purple, etc.
AJ13 are my favorites. Thankfully they are not hype and a nice stress free buy. Can’t wait for these. Been a sneaker head since 1999.
Blue
Black
Then red.

It is all because if the OG flint 13's, I started loving jordans
1. Flint 2. Black flint 3 red flint and my first shoe moment that sparked me was 2003 but I didn’t get serious till 2018
The blue flints have a special place in my heart because that’s where my love for Jordan’s began in elementary school. BUT these black flints are DIFFERENT. Absolutely beautiful shoe.

Cutaways been going crazy lately, especially on the outdoor reviews

Flint 13’s are a personal grail to me 13’s are my top 5 fav Jordan’s
Rarely do I prefer a new colorway over an og but I like the black pair better…I’ve been into Jordans since 95
Feel like a forest green flint colorway would be heat.
These are my new favorite color combo for the 13. I’m an OG and still have my original pairs from the 90’s.
13s are my favorite shoe period! And these are AMAZING! Gonna have to pull out all the stops to ensure I get these at release.
I doubt you'll have any problems grabbing them on release. And yes, these are amazing.
Born 1985... growing up TBH, my family couldnt afford J's... i had maybe two pair as a youth. I'm from the same era... and I think these black flints are pretty much my fav colorway of the 13s. You said it, something about the "black, grey, white" combo that just works.
Flints are always numero uno. Remind me of my senior year in high school / freshman year in college.
Coped these I think there worth it personally brings back memories of high school I had all white 13s back in like 01
I love Air Jordan Retro 13 I have over 50 different colorways the only one I'm missing is the Primo bins the ray Allen's and the Oregon ducks
Im an OG head, the he got games were my first ever pair of jordans back on xmas 97 and i have adored that model ever since, by FAR my favorite Jordan model of all time, i just about love EVERY colorway they come out with so i definitely share your enthusiasm with that model
Love what u do before I buy a pair I come here first.. No one else’s page love it..
Been into sneakers since the 90's. First pair that did it was the Jordan IVs. As much as I love the blue flints...the black flints just look amazing.
I've always liked jordans but as a kid the flint 13s is what did it for me made me wanna be a sneaker head. I couldn't afford them back then now I have them. Flint 13 is my favorite shoe ever.
Also a 90s kicks kid here. What a time to be in the shoe game.

I like this order on the latest 13's:
1. OG Flint (blue)
2. Red Flint
3. Black Flint
Also, the Brave Blue 13's are nice as well!!!
First pair I had was bred 11s never stopped since the 90s copped these late but for retail love 13s and the channel as per usual quality advice and entertainment.
Been a sneaker head since ‘96 my middle school era through high school was AJ 11 through AJ17 …good times man.
Got to love the Air Jordan 13, hit a few game winners in high school in this silhouette back in 98. This my favorite of the flints. Will cop at least one.
Been in a sneakerhead since 98. 13s are my favorite Js of all time because it the Jordans I got with my own money. The HGG 13s to be exact.
Best Performance Jordan Shoe from when MJ was playing. I agree with this being the shoe to use indoors or out. Damn...going to watch He Got Game...
Intro was perfect
I've been collecting sneakers since 1990. First memory I had about air jordans was in 1989 when I saw my friend sport the military 4's. ( I was like, what are those?) I've been a sneaker head ever since, for J's and all things jordan including my large autograph jordan collection that my kids will get when I'm gone, maybe even my shoe collection if they survive.
Loved shoes since I was a kid and still do. The blue flints are my favorite. My first pair was back In '05 when they rereleased.
I’m a black shoe, white shoe fanatic. These are def some of my fav 13s yet
Saved my $$ all summer that year and bought the He Got Game XIII (favorite colorway) 🐾
Then my best friend came to school in ‘98 w/ the XIII Lows (Carolina Blue/Black) and I had to have those.
My favorite J’s are 4’s, 13’s, 3’s and 12’s, in that order.
🏀
4, 11, 12 and 13s is all I need. Love these!
the playoff and flint 13s released when i was in high school as well and you capture the nostalgia perfectly
This pair is an actual sample off tinkers design wall. Wanted it for years so happy it’s getting a real release!
Honestly, I think the red look better than the OG. And these black ones might be even better than those. So Black, Red, Blue is my ranking.
I’ve been into sneaker since 2000 but out of the flint my personal favorite are the reds it’s just enough spice to the OG color palette
The first dope sneaker that I got was the Nike Air Zoom Flight 98 The Glove. I remember rocking those and JNCO jeans on my first day of school in 8th grade. I have been hooked since.
Thanks for the video. I love them .... One of shoe's I want most this year! I got my first J's back in 1990. The 5 Black Metallic's.
always loved Sneakers & as a adult I enjoy being able to have a collection
I had the first pair in the 90s & have the new blue one now. But I’m loving the black one! I have been a sneaker head since 11yrs old!
My order is
1. Blue Flints 1st jordan I fell in love with! Top 5 all time
2 black. Looks clean but I'll pass
3. Red, don't Like the combination
I've been into sneakers since about 4th grade (born in 85) got into Jordans because of the flint 13. I saw them and fell in love. Lol. Them bred and cherry were also amazing. The next year, the black toe 14 was gorgeous, they need to Retro again
I grew up on the og flints but the black flints are just insane!!!
I remember my buddy Nick had the playoff 13’s back when they first came out he beat them things to death we were in 2nd grade that’s what made me always want them
Black 🥇
Red 🥈
Blue 🥉
I have loved shoes my entire life just started collecting them in 2019
Been into shoes for 20 plus years. I love all 13s
I got back into the comic book card collecting as well, specifically mid 90's Marvel cards.
I started getting into shoes when I was a kid with the LA Gears then with the pumps. I was born in 81.
Same I was in middle school in Queens when the flints dropped I remember getting them cause those was my first pair of Jordans ever
🥇Blue
🥈Black
🥉Red
Like you, Chris, i was the kid who had monthly Eastbay magazines (RIP) since i was like 9-10 memorizing the tech, the materials, design patterns, etc… i then worked at a Finish Line in high school where i put that expertise to great use.
Performance- MINIMUM TOP 10 OF ALL BB-SNEAKER!!!❤
Early 90’s. 13 bred was my grail. Black flint 💯.
I’ve been into shows since 2006 when the pure $ 4 and the black cats came out. Love your videos keep it up
Bruh...the OG Flint 13s from 1998 were my first ever jordan! I got them after I had just joined the military & found them & the cherry 13s at a Nike outlet in Phoenix. Both were on sale for $40 & I used my military discount on them!
