    I really emphasize about the power outage. The heating system in my apartment building was out of commission overnight, just before Christmas. It was very cold. And today we had no hot water.
    But although it has been frustrating, those issues will be resolved, and are certainly not nearly as serious as some people are experiencing.
    Learning how to be resilient is a very important life skill!

    Hello gorgeous!!
    It may be none of my business, but I have to know....with your endless knowledge of art glass and antiques did you learn on your own or did you go to a university and study art glass?? I'm just completely blown away by your knowledge. I'd give anything to have a Momma like you. The gift of knowledge that your passing on to your children is priceless. I'm truly in awe of you. Now if I could only get lucky enough to actually be able to afford to buy some of the stunning finds you've come across. But with a severe disability my SS is only 500.00 a month and I can barely afford food let alone treasures. So I will just continue to admire them from a far. Thank you so much for all your hard work so that we can enjoy shopping with you 😊😉😊
    Hayger sure loves Andrew!! He's a gorgeous bird, they all are

      Hi Jodie, I'm in a similar situation as you, but what you can do, is go to the thrift stores! 🙂 pick out some local ones, and then go there regularly. For starters, you can just see, what catches your eye? You will get to know, when they restock, and maybe get familiar with the people, that work there. If you have estate sales nearby, or fleamarkets, that is good too. Start small, look for items you can sell quickly - and then use the profit to buy more stuff to sell, and build your business. Visit antique malls, and get a feeling for items, that have value. Look at markings, and research online. Jewellery can be a good place to start. I always go directly to the jewellery, if there is any. For me, it has given me the opportunity to start my own collections of things, I would have never been able to afford otherwise - because I learned to spot quality items, and found them for next to nothing, or at least, very cheap. I will often also use my finds as gifts! I don't expect to become a millionaire, or to have a big business, I would not be able to run a business, due to my health issues. But it is great to have an interesting hobby, that also contributes a little cash - and I love the treasure hunt! 🙂

    • @2jesusIbelong
      @2jesusIbelong 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@tracyhasty6506 I tried, but I live in a small city that only has two thift stores. The bigger one has 2 isles of non clothing isles lol.I've never seen anything worth reselling .it's all just newer cheap stuff or junk. And we can only shop for half an hour before they kick us out..
      It's wonderful living here the last 2 years 🇨🇦😒. I'd love to move to one of the states. Done with Canadian winters and the g0v overreachhappening here.

    Yes, power outages when you have birds is soooo scary. Some people may not be aware that many birds are highly susceptible to drafts and chills can kill them. It may be to your advantage to set up some large cages in the back office areas just for this type of emergency! Ya never know. We lost power a couple of times-but have a gas stove(can light with a match) so was able to move our pets into the kitchen area to keep warm. Your stretch vase is stunning and we have Never seen that color either, wow!

Or get the codes sent to a phone and let the USPS print them off. Provided they have the technology up and working....

    PLEASE do a SOLD version of this vid!! - I know it would be a bit more challenging, as you don't have individual prices for each peice, because you purchased in lots; but, if you make notation of the price for each lot now, while it's fresh in your memory, and then just show the lot purchase price in the vid, and then total the sold prices for each peice in each lot, and show that, it could be done!!! And it would be SO cool to see how you made out on such a large investment!!! But...perhaps the bidding at the auctions you attend would become much more competitive in the future, if you started doing that?!....On the other hand, your TH-cam revenue would also increase, due to the additional views of the great content? I guess only you can make the call as to whether or not it's wise move, from a business perspective. You seem very savvy, so, I'm sure you don't need my advice, as I've never even attended and auction, let alone participated in one, and I'm not a TH-camr. - I just know, as a viewer, I'd LOVE it!!

    Doonie & Bork...They're very nice bags, no doubt. But I'm not so sure they're as valuable or sought after as they once were because DB eally flooded the market with them and that usually that brings down the value for reselling. In other words, they become very common. But you will still pay a lot for the new ones. I remember years ago QVC selling them...I figure they still do.

    FYI: My parents got a kitten before I was born. They briefly put it in a box with the flaps interlocked and the kitten stuck its head up through the hole and then fell back and hanged itself. I felt I had to mention that. It's not something I ever want to happen again, and I know you really love your sweet, funny birds.

    I had trouble printing labels Monday morning. I figured it was so many people printing labels at the same time after the holiday.
