Processing Galena.

Silver Spike here during this video I'm processing Galena.
There is no narrating throughout the duration of this video. I was attempting to record the script but my voice got rather froggy. So I just decided to mix it with music instead. I started out with roasting the ore. After sitting overnight I followed up with crushing the larger pieces. Then reducing all of the pieces to a fine powder in the ball mill. Unfortunately I had to pan all of the material down to the concentrates. Once that was completed. I collected all of the concentrates to dry in the oven. That is a slow process and takes several hours. It requires starting at a low temperature then increasing the heat. This is all in preparation for my next smelt. I will be uploading that as part two. I need to buy a new crucible to maintain the integrity of this smelt. I do not want any contaminants during this process. I want the end result to be pure silver. Thank you for watching.
