As I swede cant say I ever remembering hearing this in Sweden... but then even with the boom euro dance had here, the only happyier stuff we got was Scooter or Blümchen/Blossom
There were a few events I recall back then with a couple of clubs playing it. Around the same time D-Shark played it in a set in Kuopio, Finland. Scooter isn't too bad but most of the Blümchen stuff is decent. It's a shame though so many countries missed out on the good scene times (before it became what it is today)
To elaborate years later... D-shark (who from what I remember is living and from Finland was playing it out and about). Said guy recorded one of his sets over there live, with a dodgy mic in the club picking up mostly club sounds but easy to hear what tracks are played). At the time I was making music for various other countries on a ghost/voluntary basis. The version of techno wonderland was passed out and I've been there in several clubs in those countries with it blasting out I've always been honest with my production. Yeah it's shit, yes it's not the best. It's lacking and so on. I'm not happy with my old work, but why lie about something with so little to be gained? If it was played there or not, what is the difference? Nout. I can only speak about what happened. If it's not believed and is put down to some sort of serial lies, it's of no benefit to myself. It doesn't bother me if I was ever labelled as some kid pissing about as a wannabe in his bedroom.
Always hard work myself and one to never claim otherwise. Woo had a track played at several overseas events. What does that mean? Nothing. No reason for me to fabricate things.
