Hi Kim, in good condition for its age but a good idea to change all the bearings and seals, as it will never have the same usage as its earlier years it will now last forever, when degreasing my engine parts I use old gunwash, this is obtained from a local sprayshop, I leave the parts in to soak in large containers, really leaches the oil out, as sprayshops normally have to pay to get rid of it they will often let you have it free, leave it to stand for a couple of days and all the sediment will drop to the bottom and you can carefully decant the clean from the top and as you aren,t a business you can take the dirty gunwash to your local recycling centre for disposal.

Scrape the gaskets off , because most of the gaskets contained asbestos years ago and the last thing you want is airborne particles, the same goes with brake and clutch material

    Excellent work!!!
0:54 been there done that, many times. It's the 5 stages of dealing with difficult equipment,
    1. denial, "I definitely took out all the bolts, or screws, clips, etc. I defo didn't miss anything"
    2. anger, "OK, screw you and the horse you rode in on. You piece of garbage, I hope you rust"
    3. bargaining, "ah come on, I released the do-dad, and loosened the other thing. If you come apart I'll be your friend and give you loads of lovely fresh grease/oil"
    4. depression, "why, why won't you come apart, out, whatever. Sob quietly out of earshot of the machine"
    5. acceptance, "f^&k it, the gas axe, or angle grinder, it is then"
