      In a hearing to recuse her from a case, an attorney accused her of doing some things just for youtube so he is just parroting that other attorney. If you are going to insult someone, at least have an original thought.

      I was a trial paralegal decades ago in CA. It was rampant. I honestly think a lot was the stress.
      I worked for one of the ethical ones. I can't tell you how many attorneys came on to me even though I was very open about being married with young children.
      I think surgeons behave the same way,, it's a bit of a God complex...

    I love how Boyd's officer stepped in and helped shut him up. When a woman smiles politely and ends the confrontation with a fake smile and 'have a nice day,' you need to WALK AWAY! You are about to have your a$$ handed to you. Dude was 100% performing for TH-cam.

      The bailiff agreed with you. I do not know much about court but I know if you are in court and a bailiff positions himself behind you, it is not good. At that point, say sorry to the judge and throw yourself on the court's mercy.

    Mike, you hit the nail on the head. Politics have overshadowed our court system here in Texas. This attorney was late, I have heard it is part of a pattern, and he was embarrassed and mugging for the camera. Unfortunately we have bigger problems and stuff like this just makes it worse.

He was rude and disrespectful. His passive-aggressive and condescending approach was abhorrent. I agree with you that this was most likely a political tactic. 👍🏻

    As soon as I heard him getting mouthy with her, I did a double take and recognized him from a group of people who testified about her. I remember I sent you the link. I knew it would only be a matter of time that they’d wind up in front of her and shit wouldn’t go their way and they’d blame it on “something” rather than what it’s really about. You nailed it on this one. The attorney prioritizes other cases over this one and that’s obvious, otherwise he’d have this case resolved.

    As a former public defender who constantly had multiple juries scheduled every week, this hurt to watch... Every now and again we'd see out of county attorneys act up, but I can't remember seeing someone act this badly over trial setting...

    I have seen a lot of people hating on judge Boyd lately. I had no idea why, until now. Which is ridiculous. I've only seen videos of her as a judge. I have no idea whatsoever what her life or views are outside of the court room. Really, they shouldn't matter at all, as long as it doesn't interfere with her ability to be an impartial judge. All I've ever seen is a very good judge

    I thought the attorney was the client and then I realize. He was trolling her trying to get a reaction out of her so he can file so motion based on her conduct. Glad she didn’t fall for it. I hope his client heard his last statement and sue him

    I have blustered in court in front of a client before. They like to see their attorney going to bat for them. But I have never been openly contemptuous like this guy.
    As a litigator I have felt the frustration of being ready for trial and then being put off for a day or a week. I once tried to seat a juror who barely spoke English because my client was leaving the country the next day. The judge laughed because he knew where I was coming from, but he had to excuse the juror and we did not have enough jurors. Yes...we settled short. :(

    Wow this guy! Boyd “Stop interrupting me.” Lawyer “Well we’re not on the record.” So, he’s a rude obnoxious jerk to everyone at any time.
    I loved how she spoke to the defendant only instead of the lawyer. I’d get a new attorney if I were the defendant. He seems like a reasonable guy.
