Pray for me, i have been struggling with my flesh this week, even more since I heard of this type of message. I was seeking holiness and trying to avoid sin instead of focusing on faith. I am waiting on God to reveal to me what it means to truly delight in Jesus so as to fill the void that the removal of sin leaves. For now I feel like the demon that was removed by Jesus has returned seven fold and I am overwhelmed with lust and sin. Please God help my faith🙏

Remember to that after trusting alone in the Blood of Jesus Christ all of your sin is completely forgiven and God permanently sealed you with His Spirit. Nothing can change that. Yes the flesh can still sin but God no longer applies them to your eternal soul because of the perfect effectiveness of Christ's finished work. And the Holy Spirit will NEVER allow demons back inside. They may taunt and try to manipulate from the outside but the Spirit of Jesus Christ is the permanent man of the house after salvation

Prayer...that's the only way. When I quit smoking I first was as inspired by the Holy Spirit to being by first asking God to "give me the desire to want to stop smoking." I wanted to stop, but only because I knew that was God's will, but I didn't want to STOP! lol
If you come to God come to him in truth. And if the truth is that you don't WANT TO QUIT you better start there first. Because that's the first problem. Be honest with the Lord about your desires, even if the truth is that you love them over Him. Grow from there.

    • @Ransomhandsome
      @Ransomhandsome 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      So true.
That's how I was able to quit. I tell others that this is what I did: I would pray, "Lord, I pray for the willingness to quit smoking," and then I continued smoking.
Eventually He told me, "Today's the day," and I prayed, "Lord, I'm afraid, but I trust you for the power to overcome."
I threw my remaining cigarettes away and never struggled, but went forward in His freedom.
Over time I found myself becoming judgmental of others that I saw smoking and had to remind myself of how hopelessly addicted I had previously been, and apart from His mercy, I'd still be smoking. So when I'd see a person smoking I'd pray, "Lord, thank you for setting me free from the bondage of smoking, and I pray for those who still suffer."

If we delight in something, we naturally will not only want more of it, but want to do it *better*.
Imagine a chef who finishes a recipe they really like: they'll want to iterate on it, improve on it, share it with others.
Now imagine someone with ageusia - the loss of the ability to taste. Do you think someone so hampered would enjoy being a chef? Would they delight in iterating on a recipe? Unless they fully planted themselves in the enjoyment others got out of the recipe, they likely would not: and even then, they likely would not have enough passion to excel because they, themselves, *don't get it*.
If you're hampered from enjoying God, seek the removal of those obstacles. We tend to put those up in our own way, by the way.
If you're not enjoying God, seek Him: perhaps you've not actually known Him, or perhaps you've drifted away.
Remember the wonderous grace of Jesus and the fact that *He did it all*: He paid it all. Look to the cross: see how vile and torturous the cross actually is, and how Jesus *went there* for us, so that now we sing of an instrument of death and torture as victorious, for our God conquered not above it, but *through it*.
Rejoice in Him, seek strength in Him, and recall all the times you sought joy outside of Him and how it ended (as it always does) in failure.
Sin never is worth it, Jesus always is.
    ---
God doesn't want us miserable: we make ourselves miserable by thinking we can do it without Him, or thinking that His commands are not made out of love.
He loved us enough *to die* for us, yet we tend to think "Oh, this command here, that one is overbearing. He doesn't want me to be happy!"
Look and see His more of His character, and move from there. Found yourself in Him, not in your own strength.
If you're holding something back from surrendering all to Him, seek His strength to see the issue as it truly is and seek His strength to hand it over to Him.
He knows what is best: and it's Him.
I've a long way to go, but Jesus is faithful.

I also had a memory problem and tend to burry the hurts of the past. We also tend to forget the trespasses against others, even against those who hurt you.
I wept before our Father and told Him all I remembered. I suddenly had the urge to write what? So I made a list of all the people who had hurt me - so tipical and egocentric (but realised that is not fare). So I made a list of people whom I mistreated and the ones that was good to me and the ones I had helped. Low and behold almost all the names were on all for lists.
With time the Holy Spirited renewed my memory and I remembered a lot from long ago and recent events - good and bad. Everytime I confessed, the bad memories faded, they did not disappear altogether, but the guilt and pain did. God helped me to forgive, so that I could be forgiven. Because of the mercy of Jesus' s sacrifice on the cross. The good memories became stronger and I received a grateful heart. My faith, hope and love was restored. That isn't once off; we have to walk with our Almighty God on a daily basis. We won't ever be perfect until Jesus comes again and make us whole and new forever.
May God bless you and keep you and strengthen your faith in Him as you truly seek His face.

@@maywasneverherenoobs Hey sorry for the late reply too. I procrastinated then forgot. I want to try to answer your questions to the best I can. Glad that you believe makes things easy :)
How do I confess my sins if I don't remember them? Is it ok if I just ask forgiveness or I HAVE to confess too? Why we have to repent or change ways if we are already forgiven?
My answer is going to be centered around this part of the Lord's Prayer: "Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors" (kjv). In this part of the Lord's Prayer, notice that prayer for forgiveness is right after the prayer for "our daily bread," so Jesus is our daily bread and therefore, our eternal life. In Romans 1:4, Paul says Jesus was "declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness..." Here I want to focus on "the spirit of holiness." Think of this like cup of water. In that cup is nothing else but water unless it will be a cup of something else. Now John 3:5 "... Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" verse 6, "... and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Remember that the prayer for forgiveness is right after we ask God to give us our daily bread, our bread of life, our Messiah. Look now at Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." So, to put it all together, we ask for forgiveness after we confess. Confession is more of an acknowledgement of sin than it is an action. You are asking for the bread of life because you know you have sinned and need Jesus' salvation. In other words, you cannot confess if you don't repent. Confession is an act of repentance. (I hope you understand what I meant by act. I know I said it is not really an action but an acknowledgement. I don't know if you understand what I mean. It is like something you do, acknowledging that you have sinned and therefore need forgiveness). To explain this, look at Proverbs 28:13, "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." It's hard to define repentance. It is basically a change in direction to surrender to God, but that only happens if you have acknowledged your wrong doings, that you have sinned, and therefore need forgiveness. You asked how do you confess if you don't remember. It is here I refer to John 3: 5 and 6 that I quoted earlier, "to be born of water and of the Spirit" and "that which is born of the Spirit is of the spirit" and we know that Jesus is the spirit of holiness. In other words, it is not on your own power that you remember all trespasses that you have ever done. It is really just you acknowledging that you have trespassed and then asking God for Jesus (who is also God lol) that He cleanse you of your sins as He is the spirit of holiness. Basically asking Him for the Holy Spirit to cleanse you of your sins. You confess to God that you have sinned and in that process, if you listen (as you meditate on His Word or maybe you are cleaning the house and suddenly remember you lied to this person the other day), He will reveal your sins to you. If it is a sin against somebody, then you confess to that person as your conscience tells you. Listen. Obviously, you are not going to remember EVERY sin, but I think you will remember the ones that are revealed to you. It is just have you sinned and then asking God for His grace and forgiveness.
You may ask how do you confess and acknowledge your sins if God is to reveal your sins to you? I think the fact that you know you need Jesus (we all do, but that you personally know you need Him in your life) is enough. Like you said, there are some sins you just know you did, those are enough. You don't have to wet your pants saying you missed something and won't be forgiven bc you missed it. You just have to keep asking God for the Holy Spirit into your life

    Hebrews 5:8-9 KJVS

  • @mikefanofmovies
    @mikefanofmovies 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hear answers only God can give you, regarding obedience.
For thus says the Lord YahuShua whom you call jesus:
"My sons, listen closely as I speak to you this parable: There were three men who devoted their lives to God, three men who sought to serve The Lord their God in righteousness. The first went out feeding the poor and the hungry, doing all he could for the needy, as he was able. The second gave everything he had to those who asked, with no thought to himself, until the day came when he had nothing more to give and he too had to ask. Yet the third did not go out, nor did he give to all who asked, but bowed down each day seeking the will of God, wanting always to walk in the ways of The Lord.
Years passed by, and the three men continued in their walks, serving God each day as they were able. Then the day came when each was presented with a new choice, one which they had not faced before.
To the first, The Lord sent a prophet, saying, “Thus says The Lord: Draw back now your hand from the needy, and no more go out to feed the poor and the hungry round about, but obey the Word of My mouth and sound the trumpet.” But he refused and went away in unbelief, appalled by the Word he had heard by the mouth of the prophet.
The second man was faced with a similar choice; to him God sent the Word of The Lord in a book. Yet because it was not found in his Bible, the man immediately rejected it and went his way in unbelief, appalled by the Word which had been given him in the name of The Lord.
And to the third, The Lord Himself said, “My son, the time has come for you to give up all you hold most dear, to give up your life for My purpose, to serve without constraint... To be greatly hated and persecuted for My name’s sake.” And with tears streaming, the servant said, “Yes, Lord.”
Therefore, My sons, I ask you, of these three men, which one was truly devoted to Me, though all did good and fruitful works? For indeed many are called, yet few are chosen, few have ears to hear. Thus learning the lesson of obedience is far greater than witnessing a prophecy come to pass, or receiving healing by a miracle. For obedience is born of love. For those who have no trust seek after signs, and those who remain in unbelief wait for miracles. And those whose requests are met, while in unbelief, will soon demand them. And those who receive a sign, yet have no trust, will only expect the more.
Yet only those who love Me,
    Without condition, will remain faithful...
And only those who truly know Me
Will endure in times of trouble...
    Says The Lord."
Says He who is One, whose name is YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH. From His Volumes of Truth, the Word of the Lord spoken to this generation.

I think God had/ has big plans for humans but we need to be like him and represent his image, because the faithful will rule like kings in the future living in the Golden city. Jesus will give us access to God's invisible power through the Holy spirit but it has to be kept sacred, anyone sinning against it will not be forgiven.

Obedience of faith discussed in Romans 1:5, emphasizing obedience stemming from faith in God.
    - Listener Stefan's testimony about transformation from legalistic pursuit of holiness to pursuing joy in Christ, leading to genuine obedience.
    - John Piper's sermon on Romans 1:5 highlights the importance of obedience arising from faith, not works.
    - Obedience of faith is a gift of grace received through faith, channeled through faith, and enabled by grace.
    - Ultimate goal: Exalting the name of Christ through obedience of faith; all aspects of life should glorify Christ.

You returned to God thinking you would be a servant in your father's house, but He welcomed you back as a son of the house. So stop behaving like a servant ( waiting for orders) and do the things your father would do because you are His son.

A good dose of the thought of you may not go to heaven plus the thought God is mad at you and it may be to late will straighten you out. All that may not be true but if considered will produce faith.

    >Doesn’t mean you can go back to sinning and disobeying GOD
There are examples in the bible of people who do just that and are still saved.
    1 CORINTHIANS 3 KJV
1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3 New King James Version
1And I, BRETHREN, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to BABES IN CHRIST. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
The reason they act that way is because they are immature in the faith. Immature babies act like lost people, in the flesh. There are other examples of Christians who disobey God and sin IN THE BIBLE.
In order to NOT sin a person must WALK in the Spirit, and that is a CHOICE. Whether someone does do that or not salvation isn't about keeping the law AFTER YOU BELIEVE.
The Apostles had a meeting about whether someone needs to keep the law, which includes the ten commandments, after faith TO BE SAVED in Acts 15!
    They concluded with this.
    Acts 15:24 KJV
24”forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:”
SALVATION and SERVICE are separate issues!
Keeping the ten commandments, living a holy life, IS something the Lord wants believers to do, but NOT TO REMAIN SAVED but for SERVING the Lord.
SALVATION and SERVICE are separate issues!
If someone mixes the two together they will be those in Matthew 7 whom Jesus says "depart from me I never knew you" because they didn't do the "will of the Father" which is to believe in Christ for EVERLASTING life (John 6:40).
    John 6:40 KJV
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

You cannot obey Jesus if you do not read and study his words as a student of Jesus which is the true meaning of disciple.
And if you do not become a student of Jesus you cannot enter into his kingdom which means you cannot be saved.

The Bible 'book' = a compendium of fire side tales and fables,
    recounted orally ,
for generations by goat herders and primitive tribes from the stone age,
    until writing was invented,
and then, many different sources, transliterations, and versions were copied and written down..
''The Bible was created during a time where stories were verbally passed down over hundreds of years.
Stories constantly morphed and changed over time, and the Bible is a collection of these.
This is why it has the nearly identical flood story from Gilgamesh, and why Jesus has the same characteristics as Dionysus, Osiris, Horus, Mithra, and Krishna.
The contradictions and immorality in the stories are not evidence that God is flawed or evil,
but rather that humans invented him, just like the thousands of other gods that we used to, but no longer believe in.''
..and to answer the questions of the many fears and mysteries of our universe, like 'thunder' and earthquakes, since there was no science yet.
    That was the old Testament.
The new Testes is also hearsay since these letters, 'gospels' and stories were written by the loyal faithful, the camp followers,
not by objective historians at that particular time,
    or by any contemporary writers,
and these tales were written many years after the supposed events of this mythical Jesus.
There is essentially very little evidence of a Jesus in real documented history.
A couple of spurious Roman reports, and all the rest anecdotal.
...but more importantly ...a jesus' existence is not an issue!
A jesus is irrelevant without a god!
Then, many of these stories, but not all, as many were not chosen,
[ There are more than just four Gospels but only these four were agreed on ],
were compiled for one self-absorbed converted Roman Emperor in his Nicean Council,
for his expressed purpose of conquest
    and
control of the people of Europe for his Holy Roman Empire.
He recognised that this was the perfect religion/mythology for the future domination of the populaces.
Half of the stories were ignored by the Nicean Bishops and none have been proven to be based on fact.
This 'Bable' book is backed up by absolutely no facts and no evidence.
It is not proof for any god(s) ....(or of any jesus as a god...)
The fables are intertwined within historical places and people...
eg Egypt and the Pharaohs existed,
whereas Moses and the Exodus did not happen...!
    It is a historical novel
.... ie A book of fiction...
    Only!
The Bible book is proof of a book ... ONLY (certainly not evidence of any gods...)
    PROVE a god!

Wow, I see you like to regurgitate things that have been debunked ad nauseum. You sound like every other confused atheist. No matter how much you listen to Hitchens, Matt Dillahunty, or or any other atheist who doesn't even understand the bible, you'll find you're wrong in the end.
Atheist logic 101: Come to a Christian channel, waste time and energy talking about a being I don't believe exist, spend copious amounts of time arguing with Christians about a being that doesn't exist while showing anger against something imaginery. Everytime you respond, your own actions are an indicment against you. Keep trying to remain willfully ignorant. Your entire comment is full of lies, strawman, and ridiculous caricatures, nice try, though. You've made 204 comments on this channel. The truth hurts.
