Welcome to Lovebites! They have said that they are not here to be cute, but to play heavy metal! But there's no denying that they are beautiful! 😂 They have also said that they wear white to help them stand out on the stage. Their drummer (Haruna) is 4'9" (146 cm), the singer (Asami) is 4'10" (147 cm). The tallest is the new bassist (Fami) at 5'3" (160 cm)! So wearing white helps to make them visible and you'll notice that they have small platforms that they stand on at various times. At the beginning of this video, Asami yells out "We are back!!!". This was their first concert in 2023 since their last one in 2021. As you noted, their original bassist, Miho, left the band in 2021 and in 2023, after a world-wide search, they gained their new bassist, Fami. So this was their first song in their first concert since Covid, and Fami's first performance with Lovebites. "The Hammer Of Wrath" (March 11th, 2023) was played last year, but it's an older song. The first music videos are "Don't Bite The Dust" and "Shadowmaker" from 2017 and "The Crusade" and "Rising" from 2018. There are also live versions of many songs, some of them on the LOVEBITES channel, e.g. recently "Rising" (less than 2 weeks old), and official live video from their Tokyo concert on September 24th, 2023.
Nice reaction. Their 1st ever release was their Music Video for *Shadowmaker* in early 2017. It's a fun video that introduces the ladies, and even then you could see their power and technical prowess on all the instruments and *Asami's* vocals. Guitarists *Miyako* (black hair), and *Midori* (Blond - in earliest videos she hasn't died her hair yet). Drummer - 4'9" *Haruna* is a Beast, plain and simple.
