There was an interview in which TAEYANG said that he asked Teddy to give this song to him, he actually beg him and he sang to it just like you guys without realizing the meaning of the lyrics at that time since he was so young and he didn’t have any of experience about love. He didn’t have a girlfriend and never had at that time. However, after being in love and having a girlfriend at that time MHR who is his wife he realized that he wouldn’t have asked for that song because of some of the lyrics lol
