I use "Less Building Placement Restrictions - v7.4.5" in Steam Workshop. It allows some clipping and you can most likely accomplish what they did in the vid. Hope this helps.
please I’m begging how do you place the fences over door frames? I tried to do it yesterday after watching your videos and it didn’t work…is it a mod? I tried googling what mod it would be but I have no idea how to look that up…I love everything you build!! ❤
@laughingturtle1864 to answer question about fences in door frames. You have to place a stable gate door first then place a fence in it. After that replace the stable gate door with a regular door. The fence should stay. Hope that helped

yeah was thinking the same. there are a few ideas one can use without mods but a lot of it is mod-reliant. and the server i play in does not allow them :/

In the end I was able to make some modifications and ended up with a similar build
@kokorochacarero8003 you can sink some furnaces into walls by using 2 tile high walls not the single walls.

Precision Carpenter Bench it's in the base game. it's in the last tier of Carpenter bench you can learn.

i dont understand why they made turan as desert culture..its a steppe culture not desert.
I do vanilla builds mods are for people that can’t come up with ideas with vanilla.
