Bully is correct. The Rock made the call. He could have quite easily said "fuck the fans, Cody can finish his story at Summer Slam" but he didn't. Dave is just raging because it wasn't emphasised enough how much the fans influenced The Rocks decision.

Dave has got to take emotion out of it. I’ve been a busted open fan for years. How Dave reacted to this documentary was overboard. The documentary is called behind the curtain, why would it be about the fans??? The Rock has influence but why diss HHH like he doesn’t have the final say in everything? Thank you Bully for trying to convey the right message. This video was a hard watch with Dave getting so upset.
Because triple H has final say on paper but if the rock who is a board member and close friends with Ari. If he can convince Ari it’s a good idea then it’s probably gonna override what HHH wants
What's he talking about fans didn't want rock that isn't true either they did want rock just wanted Cody in main event v Roman but let's not pretend fans don't love final boss it wasn't rock they didn't want they just wanted Cody to finish his story dosnt mean rock didn't pull record viewers.
@@judshuttie70Yes. It wasn’t that we don’t want Rock, we love the Rock. And we even want Rock vs Roman. But it had to be the right time. This year was NOT the right time. We had watched Cody for 2 years climb up the mountain, and he had earned the right to finish his story and become WWE champion at Wrestlemania. And we were not willing to sacrifice that amazing and incredible storybook ending; not even for the Rock.
Dave gets way to emotional when he feels Cody is not getting the star treatment Dave thinks he deserves. Dave got pissed about Roman going over at Mania 39, but it was the right call at the time. Cody had only been back for 6 months and he leaped frogged his way into a title match with Roman then. He needed at least a year to go through the trials and tribulations of a underdog babyface to set up his match with Roman at Mania 40. Roman actually was going to put Cody over at Mania 39 but Triple H and the brass knew that the sale to Endeavor was happening and made the call to keep the title on Roman, since he was and even in his absence, the face of the company. Now everybody is going ape shit wanting Roman to comeback and win the title but at this point in his career, Roman doesn't need a title to be relevant with the fans. Plus Roman coming back is about retribution with the Bloodline. It has nothing to do with Cody. Dave's really going to stroke out when Cody turns heel. Dave, you are not a shill, you're a mark.
He's the Rock. He's bigger than wrestling. If he wanted Rock vs. Roman, we would have gotten Rock vs. Roman. Be appreciative he had enough awareness to allow the changes.
Well, he didn’t want his big dream match to be treated like Roman vs Brock at WM34.😂 Rock is a master of controlling the narrative. But he was wise to pivot. Now Rock-Roman will be bigger than ever and Cody is now a true star. Everyone wins.
Just like everything he does, really. His head is shoved so far up his own ass, I don't think he really knows what's going on most of the time. Brian Gewirtz and the rest of his team just make sure that he believes the whole world is in love with him.
I didn't have any issues with the documentary. The Rock put himself into the match on Friday Night Smackdown. The fans live in the arena accepted it and you can watch the footage to see this. However the online reaction was the complete opposite. The fans online outright rejected Roman vs Rock (TH-cam, IG, Twitter, etc.) They also booed the match at the live events that weekend. So guess what by the following Thursday at the press conference they announced Roman vs Cody as the official WM main event. The issue was resolved in LESS than a week LOL. Now could you make the case that Rock should not have said a segment of fans didn't want it. But contrary to popular belief there are still casual fans who may not have known what was going on with Cody so they may have just known Rock (Attitude Era, Movies, etc.) Nonetheless Rock Hunter and the crew made the right decision and delivered the match the fans all wanted to see. Roman vs. Cody happened and Cody finished his story. Bully is correct in that if he was truly an egomaniac he would not have listened to the fans but he did. Regardless of how we got there we got to desired result and people still get upset. 🤣🤣
PREACH...I knew quite a few folks who tuned into RAW simply because The Rock was back. They REALLY got a kick out his "Final Boss" persona. This was one of the greatest pivots ever. The Rock is still "must see" and those casual fans who haven't watched wrestling in years were tuning in. So I'm glad he made the pivot because it gave us The Final Boss.
I know. Cody cry babies act like they forgot about the pop the crowd gave when rock said he was gonna sit at the head of the table. I think the real problem was giving Cody the royal rumble victory pointing at Roman and then them saying nah rock is taking it. Had Cody lost rumble I don't think fans would have been as outraged.
It’s very simple Rock vs Roman would have happened at WrestleMania 39 but Vince was still in control at the time. Once Vince got out of there, TKO took over, Rock got on the board and got ownership of his name, likeness, catch phrases, etc. that’s when he everything went into motion. People were asking for Rock vs Roman for years before Cody even came back to WWE. Cody finishing his story is not bigger than the bloodline story clearly because he’s still involved with the bloodline 😂.
It was big enough that the fans made the company pivot. 😊 As much as we like the Rock and have been entertained by the Bloodline story, we were not going to sacrifice Cody finishing the story when we had waited 2 years for its conclusion. It was too important, and we would not give it up this year, not even for The Rock. Or the Bloodline. 📕
@@Jeff_Pryceit only pivot because The Rock and HHH allowed it too. The Bloodline is still the main story and the same fans who cry at Roman being champ is asking for him to return
@@christian6455They allowed it to happen because if the fans booed the Rock-Roman match out of the building (and they would have), then Wrestlemania is a failure that year and that anger could translate into business stopping its hot streak. They pivoted because the public backlash against the new plan really gave them only two choices: change the match back or get booed out of existence.
Maybe I am just gullible but I believe The Rock if I am being honest. Everyones reactions seems legit especially Cody's frustration with the way things were heading and tbh Idc bc overall the WWE made the right call and Cody finished his story so I literally dont care one way or the other. Cody won and that is all that matters to me. The Rock said it was his decision bc IT WAS and what I mean is he could have just plowed ahead and done it anyway regardless which WWE has done for years! He said no we cant do it bc no one wants it. It was his choice. Thank GOD for Bully!!! Love you bro!
The funniest thing about the documentary was HHH’s comments to everything where he knew exactly what was going to happen with the fan backlash and accepted everything knowing he would end up exactly what he wanted to happen. Paraphrasing- ‘we’ll go with this and see if the fans like it, but keep the other option open just in case’.
He was a mastermind of the whole thing since he knew things would go back to the original plan but wanted to make the rock feel in control and make him think that he made the decision to change back the original plan 😂 👏
No grown ass man should be acting like this guy is. Calm down. Calm down •The pivot was planned all along • The Rock didnt go over Hunter's head technically, the Rock is Hunter's boss • Did people really think they was going to throw the Rock under the bus? • I think most of what the Rock and others said in the documentary to be true. • The pivot was a scheme that Hunter and Cody were in on the whole time. They had to let Nick, Rock, Ari, and Brian G. see it organically. Hunter knew the backlash they was set to get. Thats why he had Cody win the rumble.
@@Dalehjun you're wrong on this. Watch the documentary. Around the 15:20 mark in that video, Hunter said he had to have Cody win the Rumble because if he doesn't, that would damage his character.
The fake anger is embarrassing. And yes it's fake anger because no grown man gets this angry about something that isn't actually serious. They can think things are garbage, but no one gets angry about a documentary.
Dave is out of his fucking mind if he doesn’t think the rock significantly added to this years wrestlemania. Yeah, he’s got an ego, but he’s also way bigger than wrestling. I’m a lifelong wrestling fan, and a large part of that lifelong fandom was in secret. The Rock breaks through that.
Sold out vs new eyes on the product are very different. Final boss the rock made wrestling hotter than its ever been. It's why shows now are getting sold out. Without the rock doing that business would have fell off again right after mania.
They reacted that way towards Rock after Cody won the Rumble. But when he came back and said he was going to sit at the head of the table. Everyone cheered and went crazy. What fucked up everything was Cody winning the Rumble and pointing at Roman.
@@StefaniaMilarather it was plan or not he should had NEVER WON THE RUMBLE. that was the first mistake I can't even be mad at him for going off script. He not the first and won't be the last
1. The documentary was called behind the curtain of WMXL, not “Cody Rhodes: finish the story”. He’ll have his own doc highlighting the win etc. 2. Rock not only changed his mind but he leaned into a new gimmick he carried that entire story on social media/TV and made it more interesting. 3. We should stop being so short sided and look at this for what it is, entertainment.
Thank you Bully! I don't see what the problem is with the documentary. Rock heard the fans and changed gears, he turned heel and didn't have to. Triple H even said that Rock reached out to him about the heel change first, so people are just being picky and hateful. (BTW, Dave and his passion for Cody has become nauseating. Not everything he says has to be about Cody)
@@FergusonFamily3 I really don’t get it either. Cody got what he was supposed to get, he’s the WWE champion, he’s the face of the company, the movement was a success. Yet Dave is still in rage mode whenever this is brought up. Maybe it’s PTSD, or maybe he’s mad he wasn’t in the doc. I didn’t think Rock came off looking great, but it’s pointless to get mad all over again after the war was won.
I’m sorry but the Rock made the whole thing 10 x better and him coming back as the Final boss drew in fans like myself that haven’t watched wrestling for like 20 years. Plus he let Cody finish his story so what’s the problem…
I don't really care about all this, I'm just sad that I didn't see anything from Roman in the Documentary. also I didn't want to see Cody win against Roman because I allready knew that Codys reign would be boring.
Cody beat the biggest heel in the company it was never gonna be interesting. Only randy can help and that can last for 3 months if that and even after that is they gonna keep Orton a heel? (He more of a baby face because of his age kinda like Punk, fans seen them when they was kids and love them) Wwe is building up solo but they done a terrible job (before 0-40 and haven't had a WM or moment in 2 years ) and fans are legit rejecting cody vs solo. Who else cody gonna face ? Gunther? Who on the other show? KO? LMAO. Drew? Give me a break if this was months ago cody fans wouldn't care and treated drew like Shinsuke and bury him because of "online reaction" . And it so bad that they couldn't even book a new star with the MITB (Melo, LA Knight, andrade) gotta protect cody. While Raw is having the most interesting feuds.
The Rock is 100% right the majority of fans which are casuals wanted Rock vs Roman and the fans who wanted Cody were the fans who watched every wrestling show the hardcore fans. And its absolutely was Rock decision to pivot even Triple H said that.
Dave's hatred for Rock has him acting like a bufoon! Screaming into a camera at someone he wouldn't talk to like that face to face....he has some issues and might need some therapy!! Dave Screaming and spitting in anger is honestly annoying....luckily for him he has Bully and Mark to carry the show for him
Dave.....its not that serious man....your getting mad over a story that was finished and now he has no story he is fluttering around he doesn't even defend the title every ppv....you are an example of what's wrong with wrestling fans.
First of all I’m a Rock fan who went to her first ever SmackDown in Dallas and I never booed The Rock. So idk why Dave is speaking for me lol The whole Cody thing y’all saw it every Monday night on raw for the past 2 years. This documentary literally was about the pivot and why. It gave me a look behind the curtain at how it takes a lot of minds to put a story arc together. Y’all just want another reason to be mad at.
Same, love the Rock but also Roman and wanted to see Rock/Roman so bad!! Another big potential match that could easily be on that level of Undertaker/Sting that we never got. I just hope we didn't miss this chance also. Let's face it, no one is getting any younger lol!
That's because people hate The Rock because of his "ego". He turned heel and fixed his mess. What more do you want from the guy? He is not Hogan. Hogan would be WWE champion rn.
@@daltonmeister6062Saying or SCREAMING? 😆 Dave was rambling like a crazy man. I get it, Rock didn’t come off looking great, but it doesn’t matter. Cody got the WWE title, he finished his story, and we got what we wanted, so let it go, damn. Lol
Again, Mark, AKA Bubba Ray, is the voice of a veteran wrestler. Dave, try listening to your co-host (Otherwise he might have to put you through a table...). You have it in for the Rock. Passion is good, but so is reason, business, etc. It seems that the Rock is being in character (Heel Rock) and also promoting the next match (Rock vs Roman). While the rock has an ego (all top pro wrestlers do), as a member of the TKO board, he is in the business of promoting the product. I love your passion but try to read between the lines. What is behind what you see? What are other layers that are being created? In addition, if you listen to other interviews with the Rock, he honestly made a mistake and flatly admitted it. His thinking was to do Rock vs Roman a few years ago, but for scheduling reasons, it did not work out. For WrestleMania 40, his schedule was cleared, so he and Triple H thought it would be a good idea. The fans revolted, the Rock wisely pivoted, and we got WrestleMania 40. As it turned out, without the Rock being involved (think of all his social media posts and eyes he brought to his run). WrestleMania would not have done as well. So, Dave, have a seat, take a drink, and testify, brother! As Mark said, many times, Vince did not listen to the crowd, and it backfired (i.e., WrestleMania 20, Brock vs Goldberg, Roman in 2015. Wrestling booking is complex, and as Dusty Rhodes said, if what you planned in your head works 70% in the ring, you are a great booker. Having the Rock in TKO is a blessing for WWE. And that is the bottom line. :)
this guys toxic hatred for the rock is too much even bully ray looks fed up of hearing it, rocks final boss was great, cody post mania boring af, every chance legreca has he spits at the screen to bad mouth the rock they could have trucked through it like used to do all the rock changed his mind, he put out feelers when he asked sit at a booth etc crowd went nuts hell cody got boos himself in the vegas conference, legreca needs to stop trying to use his busted open platform to gather a hate mob against rock, even bully ray is like enough is enough now
This was a hard watch, usually love Busted Open but this was crazy over the top. The rock gave us the most entertaining Wrestlemania build ever. Dave needs take a step back on this one
It may be unpopular, especially for this doofus, but Rock vs Roman was THE match to make. Cody winning the title for his dad is a nice story but it doesn’t push the business further, and it hasn’t since Wrestlemania. If anything Punk vs Drew, a side story to the world championship, is carrying us to Summerslam. Cody vs Solo will probably be the first match of the night unless Roman returns and that’s telling.
Oh god, I'm glad Bully was cool headed in this. I fn appreciate the passion from Dave. However, it's clear that Rock actually made a smart decision and he's close to the pulse of what the fans wanted. He actually made the whole story even more intriguing. Was Rock inserting himself necessary to the event? Normal circumstances dictate no, but this is Rock we're talking about. He is certified box office hit and he knows there's a story there between him and Roman. However, he's also aware that everyone is invested in Cody's story, so he pivoted and made it a lot better and his story with Cody is definitely going to be great as well. Again, i appreciate Dave's passion, but you've got to also give Rock some credit for making WrestleMania fn awesome!
Dave is a mark. The documentary was never about Cody and the fans, or the main event iself, it was about the booking of the main event. Which is exactly what was shown and it did it's job.
They say 74 hours in the doc , the doc did what it was supposed to do they say multiple times in the doc about it shifting back to the fans but at the end of the day it's a work
I'm still willing to die on the hill that the whole "We Want Cody" thing was a complete and total WORK from the get go. Make as many docs as you want telling fans they actually forced the change & the WWE to "pivot" (I seriously laugh my ass off everytime when I hear that) you're never convincing me this wasn't a work. First of all, there are way too many smart people in charge who are actually worked in the business unlike a few years ago when Vince had comedy writers who never even watched wrestling as fans on his creative, to discard the Royal Rumble winner from competing in the main event of Wrestlemania. The alleged "That doesn't work for me brother" moment from The Rock would have happened in the boardroom and Cody doesn't win the 2024 Royal Rumble & Rock gets his match with Roman at Wrestlemania XL. That's how this work, Rock isn't going to just say to hell with who won the Rumble he's not getting the champ at Wrestlemania I am & even if he did Trips and everyone else who was with the company for Wrestlemania XXXIX saw how over that main event between Cody and Roman was & no way would let Cody not get that match after WINNING the damn Royal Rumble. Like I said, Cody never wins the Rumble if Rock doesn't want Cody vs Roman. Honestly I was kinda 50\50 after that SmackDown segment where Cody passes his main event spot to Rock whether it was a work or not but became about 99% sure when Cody posted on Twitter that he appreciates the passion from fans but trust me (or something to that effect) after a lot of the fan backlash got downright ugly especially the death threats towards Rock's daughter Ava. That was before the big Vegas Press Conference where it became official. To me that was Cody signaling to people who have taken this too far that this is all indeed a work and there's no more need for this ugly toxicity without flat out saying its all a work. Considering that it all paid off beautifully and exceeding most expectations, don't ever think you're ever going to hear anyone involved admit that it was all a work. That's how wrestling works
@@douggoins2960 exactly. They heard the rumblings of predictability from some heading into the Rumble & especially after Cody won the Rumble & & they didn't want to risk a mixed reaction at Wrestlemania XL. This was all to see how truly the fans were behind Cody "Finishing his story". That first Raw after Cody "stepped aside" for The Rock on SmackDown, the fans were indeed vocal about what happened booing The Rock's name & chanting "Rocky Sucks" but it was WWE that handed out "We Want Cody" signs at the arena. Anyone who can't see that they set the table for fans to back Cody showing that this whole thing was a work then they just refuse to see it. At the end of the day it really doesn't matter cuz it worked like a charm & at times too well.
This old guy has to be the biggest mark for Cody Rhodes I've ever seen. The Rock coming in and turning heel was the absolute best thing that could have happened to WWE at the time. Did he "Save" wrestling? No, but he sure as heck was the main reason they began selling out every week. The Rock made Cody's story 1000 times more interesting. Facts
The Rock's involvement definitely drew me in. I had no clue about any of the storylines (i.e. Cody finishing the story). I saw a clip of the "should the rock sit at the head of the table" and I was hooked again. It was Rock vs. Roman that initially drew me, but I was thoroughly impressed with the direction that was ultimately decided. I was a huge fan of pro wrestling from 1996-2006, then a casual fan for a few years, and haven't watched much since then.
@rayzah449 It's as if Dave doesn't realize the Rock by himself is a draw. I came to see the Rock; I stayed for the Story. My only complaint about the documentary is that there's no mention of Jinder Mahal!
@@jimcheung3527 yes I’m tired of this narrative going around online of people acting like Cody is on the same level as the rock. The online community doesn’t speak for all wrestling fans and they don’t like to acknowledge “casuals”
Brian Last has been calling out Rock for his bs act for years and now the world is finally catching on to it. The fans would’ve booed Roman vs Rock like they did Goldberg vs Lesnar at WM 20. That would’ve been fun to watch for Rocks fragile ego.
A lot of people talks about Cody, Rock, Roman, even about Triple H in his leadership, but i think still a lot of people doesn't give Seth much credit for the position that he fills in wrestlemania XL.
Here's what i dont understand from Dave. He wanted Cody vs Roman as the headliner. Isnt that what it was. How can he get mad at something he wanted he got. Its NO different than if your taking a road trip from point A to point B and you decide to use the rest stop to use the bathroom and then get back on the highway to your destination. We were all on the Cody/Roman highway and got off to see the Rock and then got back on the highway again. DAVE....STOP WHINING ABOUT SOMETHING YOU WANTED, YOU GOT!!!

I greatly enjoyed picking apart everything wrong with this “documentary” to my girlfriend who watched it with me. It was a fun time. WWE has a top notch production team that has often had to present revisionist history as fact.
@antoinelebrane3348 Can't STAND him Bro. He doesn't want to get into a verbal spat with Dwayne! He stays HARD to try envoke a repsponse from The Rock! LOL
People can say what they want BUT folks were going to tune into WR regardless. It was in Philly BUT it wasn't going to be 100% philly fans there. Its WM so you had people from around the world in attendance. We also can't ignore the reaction he got when he mentions sitting at the "Head of the Table" on Day 1. That pivot gave us the Final Boss. Like it or not he made the road to WM that much better. The Rock is still must see and after what he did to Cody Rhodes in Chicago that's all folks were talking about. I knew over 20 folks who started watching RAW again because The Rock was back. Bully was right...he didn't have to pivot BUT he did.
It's funny to me how wrestling fans create this self-contained head canon about people they've never met, and no evidence to support this narrative other than hearsay
Agree with Bubba. Story changed for the better. So why the hate for The Rock. Technically he’s the boss and could have had it his way, but pivoted for Roman Cody. Give Rock credit
Let’s be honest. No matter how it all went down, the road to Wrestlemania and both nights had a lot to do with Rocky’s return and story line. I didn’t really feel the energy with just Cody V Roman. Even now the energy has dropped with the absence of Rocky and Roman.

I loved the documentary does he want triple h today he wanted Cody the whole time but rock pushed in no this was great doc I loved it.
I was so surprised that they didn’t even mention that the video on TH-cam that got the most dislikes in wwe history
The interview y’all did with Brian was LITERALLY more informative then the doc
Dave sounds hurt cause they didn't give him any credit.
Siriusxm has over a dozen channels. A show about wrestling isn't even within the top ten. That's why Dave isn't given credit.
@@Jeff_Pryce Exactly
It was a glorified Rock PR statement
@Alonzo_R. plenty of people wanted rock and roman but the louder ones didn't
Finally someone with clarity
EXACTLY!! Geeshhh people🥴🤦🏾♂️. The story still was finished AND a few behind the scenes info was revealed. What's the issue lol???
@@Jeff_Pryce I seen wwe done worse they could had still done roman vs rock even if it got booed
He’s unnecessarily angry. Feels awful personal. Old school word for this is behavior is “mark”.😂😂😂
It's a work. Rock is gonna use this when he returns to feud against cody
Nah he has a right
You're literally watching a review of a behind the scenes documentary of a wrestling event. That's about as "mark" as you can get
Was gonna say, Rock would have only held the belt for a month anyway before dropping it to Cody at Backlash
We are all marks for believing pro wrestling.... even the "smart" ones are not as mart as they think
I hate to say this but Rock kept bragging too much...
Doesn't make him wrong
The funniest thing about the documentary was HHH’s comments to everything where he knew exactly what was going to happen with the fan backlash and accepted everything knowing he would end up exactly what he wanted to happen.
Paraphrasing- ‘we’ll go with this and see if the fans like it, but keep the other option open just in case’.
Crazy how hhh connects with the fans now. Villain turned Hero
He was a mastermind of the whole thing since he knew things would go back to the original plan but wanted to make the rock feel in control and make him think that he made the decision to change back the original plan 😂 👏
No grown ass man should be acting like this guy is. Calm down. Calm down
•The pivot was planned all along
• The Rock didnt go over Hunter's head technically, the Rock is Hunter's boss
• Did people really think they was going to throw the Rock under the bus?
• I think most of what the Rock and others said in the documentary to be true.
• The pivot was a scheme that Hunter and Cody were in on the whole time. They had to let Nick, Rock, Ari, and Brian G. see it organically. Hunter knew the backlash they was set to get. Thats why he had Cody win the rumble.
Cody won because Punk was injured…
@@Dalehjun you're wrong on this. Watch the documentary. Around the 15:20 mark in that video, Hunter said he had to have Cody win the Rumble because if he doesn't, that would damage his character.
The fake anger is embarrassing. And yes it's fake anger because no grown man gets this angry about something that isn't actually serious.
They can think things are garbage, but no one gets angry about a documentary.
Thank you Bully for using Logic and reason. Rock could have done whatever he wanted but he saw the bigger picture....I guess. IDGAF about the story 😂
The documentary should've been called:
WrestleMania 40:
"That don't work for me, brother..."
The Rock = Hulk Hogan 2.0

Dave is out of his fucking mind if he doesn’t think the rock significantly added to this years wrestlemania. Yeah, he’s got an ego, but he’s also way bigger than wrestling. I’m a lifelong wrestling fan, and a large part of that lifelong fandom was in secret. The Rock breaks through that.
Yep, the Rocks appearances on Raw and Smackdown had the highest ratings.
Wrestle Mania was sold out long before Rock got involved.
Yea and cody did it consciously. it was not planned. he provoked everything.

Bully rays reaction during David's rant is priceless. Lol😅
Daves leaned too much back into being a kid and forgetting the business aspect of this. Sheesh

I didn’t think Rock came off looking great, but it’s pointless to get mad all over again after the war was won.
Cody crybabies are a different breed. They got Cody as the champion yet can't even carry SmackDown. Raw has by far been the better product.
I’m sorry but the Rock made the whole thing 10 x better and him coming back as the Final boss drew in fans like myself that haven’t watched wrestling for like 20 years. Plus he let Cody finish his story so what’s the problem…

Cody beat the biggest heel in the company it was never gonna be interesting.
Only randy can help and that can last for 3 months if that and even after that is they gonna keep Orton a heel? (He more of a baby face because of his age kinda like Punk, fans seen them when they was kids and love them)
Wwe is building up solo but they done a terrible job (before 0-40 and haven't had a WM or moment in 2 years ) and fans are legit rejecting cody vs solo.
Who else cody gonna face ? Gunther? Who on the other show? KO? LMAO. Drew? And it so bad that they couldn't even book a new star with the MITB (Melo, LA Knight, andrade) gotta protect cody. While Raw is having the most interesting feuds.
The Rock made that mania great. Without him it would be mediocre. Haters gonna hate
Dave does those emotional breakdowns that we are ashamed to have. Truly the hero that the world deserves
No David. We wanted Roman vs Rock. We been wanting that match for years. and you gotta Thank Rock for getting Cody even more over than he was

Good for you
The Rock is 100% right the majority of fans which are casuals wanted Rock vs Roman and the fans who wanted Cody were the fans who watched every wrestling show the hardcore fans.
Thank you Bully for being a level headed adult and not a yelling screaming pouting child when things don't go your way!
First of all I’m a Rock fan who went to her first ever SmackDown in Dallas and I never booed The Rock. So idk why Dave is speaking for me lol
The whole Cody thing y’all saw it every Monday night on raw for the past 2 years.
Its really the Rock giving himself a reach-around!
Dave is just a baby action as a grown up
Seriously? Dave you’re just pissed because your mug never got featured on the documentary.
Did you even listen to what he was saying?
@@daltonmeister6062Saying or SCREAMING? 😆 Dave was rambling like a crazy man. I get it, Rock didn’t come off looking great, but it doesn’t matter. Cody got the WWE title, he finished his story, and we got what we wanted, so let it go, damn. Lol
Clowns always default to personal attacks… every time.
Yeah someone tell him to stop being disrespectful and calm down or I threaten to shut down his podcast
And, Dave, The Rock gave your podcast worldwide exposure!

Cody's fans were just more vocal, but there were ALOT of fans who wanted to see Rock vs Roman!

The rock gave us the most entertaining Wrestlemania build ever.
Dave needs take a step back on this one
18:03 Dave wasn’t tryna hear that shit 😅😂😂😂
Bully Ray trying to reason with Dave marking out of his goddamn mind with hatred for the Rock was a sight to behold. “Sit down, Dave!”
Dave is known for being "The NO 1 Cody Crybaby" 😂😂😂
The fact that he says it wouldn’t be most watched wm if Cody wasn’t in main event is so absurd. What a weird obsession
Christ dave, its just wrestling. No need to blow an artery
The thing about the documentary is that there is nothing there that makes me believe that the whole thing wasn’t planned from Day 1.
Dave is a mark. The documentary was never about Cody and the fans, or the main event iself, it was about the booking of the main event. Which is exactly what was shown and it did it's job.
Agree Roman also was push aside from the documentary
It also wasn’t about Rock and Seven Bucks production.
I can’t lie I was a big ass Cody Crybaby now I’m over it put the belt on Roman and give us that match at WM 42
I agree. It was always their endgame. The swerve with Cody stepping aside for rock and the backlash was all expected
Dave is a damn
Toys r us kid… cuz he doesn’t want to grow up 😂
This old guy has to be the biggest mark for Cody Rhodes I've ever seen.

Let’s be honest. No matter how it all went down, the road to Wrestlemania and both nights had a lot to do with Rocky’s return and story line.
