Stallions and Battlehawks have been the picks for a time now so I'll take a chance and pick the Stallions and Brahmas as the Battlehawks may have the advantages but I'm thinking they'll look ahead of the Brahmas game for just the reasons you state they'll win... the Brahmas are all banged up. So I'll predict an upset. Many are thinking the Stallions will blow it after losing two weeks ago but I think that's been their wakeup call and they'll edge out another close one maybe. I could be wrong as it's just a hunch.

I definitely expect the USFL game to be close since while Birmingham will definitely play better than they have been the past few weeks, Michigan will have some big reinforcements to make it a tight game. For the XFL game I just think the injuries will be too much, as at this moment it looks very likely that McFarland will play and does look like Garbers will have to be QB 2, I don't think it's impossible to see St. Louis lose for the reasons you said, but I just have that feeling that the injuries will finally catch up to SA.

Yeah my Brahmas had a fun season that I enjoyed a lot especially after how hard their first was but as a realist I agree that its probably coming to an end. Not giving up hope or anything but its gonna be very tough beating St. Louis on their home turf with all the firepower they have offensively along with all of the factors you mentioned like the injuries, crowd noise, and SA not being a team that can win shootouts with how much they struggle scoring. Thats not even mentioning the QB disparity and our kicker problem. Only way I see us winning is if the defense plays a perfect game like last week and if our offense is able to do just enough to keep up but I just don't think thats realistic given how talented the Battlehawks are

I definitely agree with you that the Brahmas need to have their defense have an incredible game to really have a chance against St. Louis. Even though it's tough to hold a team to under 20 points in back-to-back weeks, if any team can do it, it's SA.

I wanna see STL and Michigan so bad! I might even put some money on the Panthers because Etling is a more athletic QB then given credit for, Panthers can clean play cleaner, got the defense and the margin of victory for Stallions over Panthers gets smaller each game. It’s Michigan’s time

Michigan definitely does have a real shot at beating Birmingham as they came so close both times they played them this season. My main concern is just their health, as fully healthy (aside from Perkins) I think they have a really good chance, but if guys like Colburn and Simms aren't at 100% it's gonna be tough.
