So glad you’re enjoying it!! I always say there’s the kind of music theory you can win a trivia contest with…. And then there’s theory you can actually USE! 🎸🔥🎶🔥🎸
Hello Charlie, thank You so much for this masterpiece "of how to build a great solo, approaching from a variety of angles"...there is indeed a infinite new world of melodic language to be explored,... have a fantastic day for now, Yorg from Australia😂
This is a literal textbook for 12 bar blues, from simple pentatonics, to mixing major and minor, to difficult Robben Ford style diminished licks. The blues can be as simple or as sophisticated as you want. This is a great lesson anyone could glean something from.👍
Charlie thanks for all the info, you are connecting many dots for me. Also, I see in this video that you have a Hamer guitar. I also have a Hamer and I love it, but I don't often see them.
Wow I'm so glad I've found your channel I've been playing for 25 years. I understand theory and have private lessons but your videos have catapulted my progress your channel should go viral thankyou Charlie Looking forward to more. Kevin UK.
YES! Combine the Blues, Minor & Major Pentatonic and get: 1-2-b3/3-4-b5-5-6-b7. Use b2-b6-7 in chromatic lines and that’s all 12 notes!
Man, so glad I found your channel. Its a wonderful resource for learning what to actually DO with music theory! Im very, very appreciative. Thank you!

If I had math teachers like you, I'd be designing the circuits instead of installing them.
