Wow... that is a beautiful knife! Great video Erica. THANK YOU for the shoutout and kind words. I've fed raw food for over 30 years... It's the best thing you can do for you animals health (dogs or cats). 👊🙂Best wishes to all of you.
Thanks for putting me onto more custom makers, your channel is definitely becoming youtube’s top showcase for edc custom fixies. I’m carrying an endura 4 in K390 with a titanium back spacer to reduce lock rock.
That is such a beautiful knife👍Works like a champ, too! Cracked me up when you slid the chickens across the table and Nugget's head moved along with them😆Today I'm carrying a Buck 112 slim pro with S30V, and an orange delrin Case mini trapper. Cheers, E!
From Kara’s grandmother 😅 it’s pronounced care-a, spelled Kara. Thanks for the wonderful review!!! Enjoyed it so much. I’ve processed a few 🐓 🐓🐓 in my life, too. Take care of that beautiful knife.
Sort of a feathery design in the blade. Dogs behave well and didn't try to take a snack much less than just a bark or two. A Terrain365 hear by the "confuser". Hope you had a good weekend too.
The vet told me that dogs job is literally processing bones and it almost never is a problem. I had a wolf that lived to 17 and I fed her lots of chicken and all sorts of other things. The only bones that seemed sketchy was turkey bones especially if they were frozen. They made nasty shards and I stopped feeding her those. Your dogs are awesome. They know what’s going on.
I’ll second this, I’d had knee and back problems since my early 20’s getting orthotic insoles and shoes with good support and a solid sole fixed this problem for me. Both have stayed pain free for well over a decade. Well worth the extra $$ as I couldn’t run for more than 100 yards without knee pain before.
Great Video Erica. Not the kind of knife I would use to break down 4 chickens but that was an awesome test. My only question for @Babymoonblades is did you use whiteout on the cannister?
@@Babymoonblades Thanks for the response and I learned something new. That is one beautiful knife you made for Erica. I will keep you in mind when I am ready for a new custom fix blade. Erica's approval is a big bonus.
So what am I carrying today? Started my day carrying my Hogue Deka and Benchmade Griptillian, switched to my Benchmade Bugout and Sencut Watauga this afternoon. Probably be sporting those for a couple of days. Haven't had a beer in quite a while, quit drinking about 13 years ago. Love watching you do your thing and interacting with your dogs.
Glad you clarified about the production knife thing, I thought you were talking about Spyderco, Benchmade, etc.. I can't blame you when it comes to Bushcraft, there's been way more drama than innovation in that part of the market over the past couple of years, at least as far as production Bushcraft knives go.
Now that’s something you don’t see everyday 😂 today I carried my BM 940 Osborne in stonewashed titanium scales and Victorinox Alox Cadet. Keeping it classy-ish for my anniversary with my gf. 🤵🏻
I feel personally attacked lol Some of us white collar video game nerds grew up rural and would live in the woods if we had the chance, but it's hard to convince family to give up high speed internet and the decent salary that comes with living in the concrete jungle. @@ericasedc Sure, no problem. We all need to know that God loves us and Jesus Saves. You have a good channel it is very helpful information for people who like knives and want to get quality knives. 😊👍
I wouldn't pay $800 bucks for any knife. That knife probably cost them $100 to make. These companies are making money hand over fist and playing on people's ignorance. It's a pretty ugly knife anyhow. 😂 Thank you for the review, Erica. 😎✌️
You are somewhat correct. The steel to make that blade cost very little. The labor put into forge welding the steel into a usable billet, forging the blade, and all the finishing work is where the price comes from. The base material started off as about $20 worth of 52100 ball bearings and maybe another $10 of 1090 powder with about 4% pure nickel powder mixed in. I often post videos making the steel and forging the blade. I have nothing to hide and welcome anyone to my shop to see the process. I can understand that this blade is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s a functional art piece and I’m very proud of it.

No. I generally use white spray paint and the bullet just falls out of the can after prolonged forge welding.
