Newly hatched Egyptian goslings (Alopochen aegyptiaca)

These goslings were filmed on February 23rd, which means that the eggs were layed in January. For me Brussels is a bit Southern, but not that southern. Ponds may freeze in winter and snow is possible. Egyptian goose is a introduced and invasive species in Europe. Filmed using a mobile phone. Nilgås/Afrikanhanhi/エジプトガン/ Нильский гусь

Egyptian Geese are the best! Some couples count to my best friends and I helped them raising goslings over the years. I love bonding with these very intelligent, very social, friendly, lovable beautiful critters!
