They forgot Fran Ryan who appeared in dozens of TV shows died January 15th and Helen Martin (Pearl Shay from 227) who died March 25th from a heart attack.
The picture with Doris Kenner-Jackson’s obituary here is not a picture of Doris Kenner-Jackson. It is a picture of Shirley Alston Reeves. Both were in the Shirelles together.
There was one notable death in the auto racing community that is certainly worth mentioning. 3 time NASCAR Champion and the winner of the very first Daytona 500, Lee Petty passed away on April 5, 2000 of an Abdominal aortic aneurysm at the age of 86. He was one of NASCAR's first superstar drivers.
You excluded Eric Christmas who died July 22, 2000. He made over 130 television and film appearances including Porky’s, The Philadelphia Experiment, Cheers, and Seinfeld.
What episode of The Twilight Zone did John Milford appear it? I looked on his IMDb page and it doesn't mention any Twilight Zone episode. It mentions an episode of The Outer Limits, but not The Twilight Zone
You forgot John Newland the host of One Step Beyond that came on the air a few months before the Twilight Zone back in 1959. In my humble opinion, One Step Beyond was better than The Twilight Zone. Back in the late 50's and early 60's, you had some of television greatest science-fiction programs such as One Step Beyond, The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. Rest In Peace John Newland and everybody else who died in 2000.
My great uncle shares a lot of similiarities with Matthau. Not only were both born the same day, they died the same day as well. They both shared the same name, and both brothers were called Henry (or Heinrich, the German version). Matthau´s parents came from Lithuania, my great uncles grandparents came from Lithuania, both from the same village. My great uncles son´s 2nd name is Karl, Matthau´s son is called Charles (English version of Karl). Matthau´s mother was called Rose, my great uncle´s mother was called Rosemarie (Rosemary). Both died in January of 1979.
You must not have known LEO V. GORDON? He did so many Westerns and was in so many shows always the bad guy. He even wrote for Adam 12 . A tall man who said thank God for type casting! He also won the golden boot award for Westerns.
Leo Gordon was very well known on westerns. He also had a guest appearances on The Rockford Files as Charlie Martel. I can still remember when he passed away. I clipped out his picture and article announcing his passing and put in one of my scrapbooks.
Usually Leo V. Gordon Played a villainous tough guy. Two occasions stand out elsewise. 1) "The Mayberry Knot Tying Class" Episode of "The Andy Griffith Show" where "Sheriff Taylor's one time Nemesis "Luke Comstock" pays him a friendly visit!😂🤣😂😏👮♂️📺 2) A 1960s Biker Gang Movie where Leo V. Loved Nancy Marchand as Mrs. Pynchon in "Lou Grant," for which she actually is most remembered. She won FOUR Emmy Awards for that! Outstanding!
Richard Mulligan also warrants memtion for his work in 1970 movie "Little Big Man" opposite Dustin Hoffman and Chief Dan George.
Werner Klemperer was a classical musician as well. His father Otto is a renowned orchestra conductor.
RIP Jim Varney. Ernest was a huge part of my childhood.
Me too. Ernest P. Whorl was a significant part of my childhood. Rip Jim Varney.

Hedy Lamarr was so beautiful!
Johnnie Taylor the R&B/Disco/Blues/Soul singer died in May 2000. He was the hand picked successor to Sam Cooke in the Soul Stirrers.
That’s a tough act to follow. Good knowledge.
Was also known for his top hit Disco Lady in 1976.
I had read he was also a pallbearer at Cooke's funeral.
Beautiful video. Thanks. ❤

Actress Gail Fisher who played secretary Peggy Fair on the hit series Mannix (1967-1975) died December 2, 2000.
She became the first African-American woman to win an Emmy for her role on Mannix.
@@vamsm This was one of the reasons I wanted to add her name to the Memoriam.
Benjamin Orr is still greatly missed to this day.
Drive is an amazing song
And he wasn't just the bassist for The Cars as the text in the video says. He and Ric Ocasek alternated as lead singer.
Loved how this was done, to the point without a bunch of pointless comments.

I was devastated when jim varney died. He was my favorite comedian and actor
If he was alive today he would be 73.
No disrespect to Bob Crane, but Werner Klemperer's Colonel Klink was the real star of Hogan's Heroes.
I would say they were equals, though Klemperer won two Emmys. It's a shame that Bob Crane never received one. He deserved it as much as Klemperer.
In the German version, the stars are Klemperer and Banner.

Turn the Beat Around debuted on the Billboard Top 40 on June 19, 1976
I stand corrected. It was 1976. You were right and I was wrong. Please disregard my previous reply to your message.
