- Street fighter 6 is hard. After entering my first few ranked matches as E Honda in SF6- I decided this game was more difficult than I originally though. New mechanics, such a Drive Impact, elevated the game and strategy to new levels.

No. People thought the same when Guilty Gear Strive came out and Doto start making videos about it, but at the end he made like 8 Strive videos in total after more than two years.
I’d love it, but he will most likely miss this opportunity and continue doing budokai videos

I hate to say it but I sooo doubt that, I was excited to see him play Strive and thought he would keep playing it but y'know how that went. 😭

the World Tour is literally just an assault strangers simulator and I'm loving it.

@@thatboymeak You have to do it if you do not want to pay real life money to unlock the only 1 alternate skin for each character so far... sigh... MK11 had 60 skins for each characters to unlock in the base version when it came out. 60! And there were more characters in it than just 18
@@richardkutsera4992 MK11 did it because of Warner Brothers money and bad animations.
@@alter9933 I would not think a company with a series like Street Fighter behind their backs do not have money for more skins... but whatever. It is just that there is not much worth to unlock, just the one second look for each character.

Tip for your next JP matches but his "projectiles" dont function like a projectile, he sends little purple spirits and only the "slash" they do at the end hits you. Honda can disrespect a lot of his gameplan with regular headbutt because the headbutt is so fast it passes through the spirit before the hitbox activates lol
It is SOO exciting to see Doto play fighting games. He is passionate about it and you can tell he doesn't only know about it all, but he LOVES the hustle and you get on the edge of your seat with him. Top notch content as always. More SF for us.

Not bad for your beginnings in SF6! I would definitely recommend to master the use of drive rush combos since once you have those done the punishers will be insane. It’s worth it to spend some time on that
The dragon ball games are fun, but FGC content is what I'm always here for, love seeing more of it come back!
The move with the grafitti effect is Drive Impact, not Drive Rush. DR is when they turn green and dash toward you to do an advantageous move.

Doto, the armoured paint splash move is Drive IMPACT; Drive _Rush_ is the green dash forward.
You even named it correctly once against Manon, but then went right back to getting it mixed up. 😅

The footsie kick you were doing (Forward+Heavy? I don't play Honda) is actually really good.
It's a long range true low which is quite uncommon. Use that to get in and do a basic combo/command throw mixup.
It's a simple but effective game plan when mixed in with headbutts and the sumo drop (always plus) which you also need to do more).
When charging headbutt, hold down back so you can charge it without walking yourself into the corner too, it also makes it less obvious as everyone but new players know whats coming if you're back walking like that.
Also command throw my guy. It's really good.

Doto is the type to do unorthodox style in a fighting game just for the funsies. That's why I like watching him despite the L's he has been getting. I'd rather watch a fun match than a serious one. 😊

You HAVE to play jamie. He starts off kinda bad but if you get to max drink level he become one of the best characters in the game.

Love seeing some Honda rep. You should try to go in more. You do great when you're going in and applying pressure, but when you back yourself up into the corner Honda doesn't have many options.
