I know a lot of you are having trouble getting the AI to react like they do in my video, sadly it's up to chance. The large wall I use does count as two different sections so that is why the medal triggers, but sometimes debris from one hits the other guy before the second blast.

it really looks very easy, watching this,,, i have repeat it plenty times and still failed to achive under 2 mins...
Thanks for the tip on the 2 explosives on the ceiling! It took a few tries, but I finally got all the achievements on this challenge! I did notice that if AI isn't cooperating, it will eventually. I had to use a batarang on the guy on the platform in front of the window before smashing through, but otherwise, this is a perfect strategy.
The AI doesn't always react the same, it's trial and error + a bit of luck that they respond in the ideal way.
Assuming you watched it to the end you will know I got all medals. The large section of wall counts as two not one, but the rubble from the first explosion can cancel out the second hitting the respective guard.
So basiclly keep trying untilnit doesnt

The gel part isn't working for me
You have to separate the two gels on complete opposite sides and explode when there’s someone directly under each. It took me an hour to get it down so have fun

Excellent! My time is exactly one minute. First I just run to the one climbing upstairs and take him down, run back, pull off the guy walking on that little platform thing, detonate the wall behind the guy at the door, and when they all round up there, I go to the other side and pull them off the platform, but this idea is truly amazing! Going back to my sweet little Ha Ha Hacienda now and try this process. Peace!
I did it exactly the same way you did, and I still can't get the Three for three.
I recently went back and 100% Arkham asylum for the first time, I think this is the fastest I’ve seen this challenge done. I usually spend more time trying to set up the three explosives, this seemed to work well!

I had that problem, it's something wrong with the Line Launcher when it's long range, to get around that go up the side those windows are on and do it from there (like I did there when I missed the window first try) - it'll take roughly the same amount of time but it ensures you get through the window properly.
@bebe4235 That is because your first explosion knocks out all the guards in the double-size ceiling room. To get the medal, each of your explosions must knock out a wall AND a guard.
You need to time the explosion so that at least one of the guards is approximately at the door so he doesn't get knocked out in the first explosion, but does get knocked out on the second explosion (the one that destroys the other half of the double-sized ceiling). Mmmkay?
LoL that would of taken me 6+ minutes of "should I, could I? Nah I'll go back up to the gargoyle and play it safe."

@Osborne4Life This is doable even if the guard runs to the front of the window, which he sometimes does. You just wait a second or two crouched under the window (Yes, they're running towards you. You're Batman, you can wait a moment) and when he turns his head to the left to head into the hut, you can jump out and grapple up.
Be sure to hug the right side of the window when jumping out to minimize the chance that he sees you out of the corner of his crazy eyes.
I thought I was quick with the 14 minutes it took me on this one, and then you watch this guy and know I feel like the worst player ever
i just did exactly what you did on PC and finished in 48 seconds. That put me at the TOP of the 2-medal rank list, because the game won't buy my 3-guys-with-two-walls trick.
I did every EXTREME stealth challenge with relative ease. I can't do this one for the life of me. At first, I was able to go by and plant all three explosive gels without detections. Problem was I didn't get the 'Three for Three' achievement. Now I can't even do it without being detected after I take out the first guard.
@link123253 you are not supposed to glide kick you have to jump on them like if you're on a gargoyle and tje henchman is just a little away jump on them hold RT or R2 and press triangle or Y as soon possible

Ohhhhh that one wall counts as two because it's bigger. I was getting a little annoyed because the other two get ruined by the auto-detonate upgrade, and the thugs don't walk by the last one on the ground floor.
I completed it, but my time was over two minutes because the last thug just stood still and saw me. Thanks!

i keep hearing that people find the combat challenges are harder than the stealth. I guess it's my fighting game background but i find the combat ones ALOT easier than the stealth.
Yes, but the problem lies in the debris from one end of the wall killing all the guards in the room. Can't say how many times I've restarted after not getting the objective, and at times I would've finished with under 44 seconds.
I have Arkham Asylum and it rocks now I can't wait to get Arkham City for the PS3

I tried doing it this way and i would always get caught after the window thing
when batman broke through the window in the video my computer shut down in time

For the Three For Three one the big wall on the roof counts as two separate walls. You just need to KO one guard with each part of the wall

yeah i did it just like the vid too but i still havent been able to get it. when the ceiling gets blown up along with the 2nd wall, it takes out 3 guys, but i dont get the medal for that.

Heh, I never thought of that. _I_ went about it by exploding the walls first, luring one to a window using the Sonic Batarang, then glide-kicked the last thug. But this one: truly epic!
Couldn't do this for the life of me then I just realized after re-watching this 100 times that after knocking the 1st guy thru the window, there are 5 hostiles remaining. I have 8 when I play. Anyone know the reason?

cause batmans hits thw window and the cutscene shows then hes hits the guard at like 1 mph and all the other guards are alerted

i traded my battlefield 3 to some guy fro arkham city. but since i hadnt played arkham asylum yet i had to go out and buy it and beat it first. i regret nothing both games are amazing and easily go into my top 10 games which include the uncharted series along with a the god of war series

Whenever I jump the dude through the window with the line launcher the dude outside loops around to towards the window and i get shot as i hop over the window. How do I make him go around to check the body?
I don't understand what happens... I blow off all the three walls, in this move I kill four henchmen (the same way you do) but I don't get the "three for three" chalenge...
I just don't get what's going wrong...

This just would not work for me
The guard patroling outside the window caught me 90% of the time
And the 10% of the time he didn't, when I blew up the roof despite knocking out several guards it would not trigger the medal
Use a batarang to knock him out before quickly line launching into the window.

So there are extreme challenges too? Please, someone tell me it comes with the game. And do you have to unlock the extreme difficulty, or what. I'm trying to look for the 2nd vid myself, but I can't get it.
But one of the objectives is to glide kick a henchman, so it would be a waste to throw a sonic batarang
