I'm not from either area but I have lived in Greensboro two separate times over the last 5 years. In my experience, W-S feels much more like a "city" to me compared to Greensboro. Greensboro just feels very spread out with a much smaller and seemingly less established downtown area. When I've driven around W-S it feels much more upscale with more affluent neighborhoods.
@@movingtowinstonsalem8499 We are looking at air tickets so we can do visit and compare. Our son was in Durham for 3 years so we like the climate of NC. We are looking at retirement in 3 years I'll reach out to you when we solidify our plans and know our dates to see the area.
@@movingtowinstonsalem8499 oh wow. I was definitely not trying to be funny lol. During my research I've seen vids where people said the cockroaches (also called palmetto bugs) are huge and a "native" so to speak in NC. They have said that some cities are worst than others so I figured I'd ask you about WS and Greensboro because to tbh the "bug" thing was kinda a concern and drawback for me...I hate bugs of all kinds but especially anything looking like a roach LOL.
Greensboro in my opinion is better and have more stuff to do but the cost of living is more expensive....Great video bro!

Very informative. Great video!
Thanks!
Thank you for comps on each category for these two cities
You’re welcome! Which do you prefer ?
Your video has steered our interests in Winston-Salam. More independent restaurants, art vibes, and smaller size.
@michellemeert4396 good points! Have you visited either city in person? Thats important
