I will be coming into that area to check out another community,Earthwaking which I believe is in the area you are and I like to stop by to check out your community as well, but I think price wise it may be outside my affordability.
Come and check it out! The lots vary in price based on size, location, and views. There are lots with the river behind, with views of the valley and others towards the mountains. Sizes range from 2,000 to 8,000 sq meters (0,5 to 2,2 acres) and values vary from u$s 110,000 to u$s 240,000…, but the community is much more than its lots since it is located on a 800 acres land and has many other services. www.risecostarica.com
Great video! Im planning on moving there and will be working remotely for a US employer. Ive watched many videos and trying to get clarity on what type of residency would i apply for. Im thinking it would be rentista but im not sure. I know it wont be entrepreneur, pension or digital nomad. The plan is to live there permanently and work remotely for the US. I would appreciate any incite you can give. If rentista is in fact thr residency i need for my situation, please explain how that works exactly. TIA.
Well, you can enter with a tourist visa for 180 days and think about it later. You can renew your tourist visa or apply for rentista. The best way to do it is hiring a lawyer. we can connect you with ours if you want
@@risecostarica thank you so much for responding. I was not aware that I would need a tourist visa. I was under the impression that Americans can come there with just their US passport and stay for 180 days. Now I know that is needed and my residency type would be rentista. I really appreciate the info. Yes, I would like to connect with your attorney.
@@SassyveeSceneries you do not need a tourist visa before entering. When you enter Costa Rica, inmigration will allow you to enter with a tourist visa for 180 days. write me to sales@risecostarica.com to be connected
Hi! Yes! Proof of permanent monthly income of US$1,000. There is no minimum age to qualify and may include a spouse, and children under 25 years or older with disabilities. Additional income for dependents may be required. The permit has a validity of 2 years, and may be renewed on condition that you still meet the requirements. For renewal, it must be proved that the income has been received in Costa Rica and you have lived in the country at least 4 months per year, continuous or discontinuous.
Great interview and all the real-life questions and answers! Thank you and we look forward to meeting you soon.
Looking forward to meeting you too!
I appreciate your comments about Waldorf education as a retired Waldorf School teacher.
