From my perspective, even with topwater lures, colours are very important. At least in clear water situations - even with quite similar lures colourwise I see huge difference in the way fish react. Or do not bite at all. Maybe it is species related, I don't know, but European perch are picky as fuck when it comes down to small details. Great video, btw :)

I usually give people just the blanket statement of light and dark because I don't know their specific situation and I view it as a starting point. You're definitely correct, color can be the deciding factor in some situations!

This is not the Jackall Cicada. The Jackall Cicada is actually a lot less durable and I am not a big fan of it. The Jackall Pompadour is a widely used bass lure and is primarily used for freshwater bass fishing. The majority of videos you'll find on youtube are relating to largemouth fishing although of couse this lure could be used for many other species as well! Thanks for your insights!
