Beach Combing Container Ship Debris

While going for a beach drive I started to find stuff. Some of this stuff looked like lost garbage from floods or littering. I started to find duplicates . I knew I was on to something. Out came the camera and, the rest is in the video.

Thanks for cleaning our beaches! I do the same in the Seaview/Cape Disappointment area. Found an identical Wilson in early 2023.

Yes only where I can drive. I mostly look after a storm that blows down from the northwest.

How long would it take the debris from the awful tsunami that hit Japan a few years ago, to start washing up on our beaches

The one in 2011 debris had been showing up on our beaches for years. I don't know how long it takes but, I'm finding old stuff still from containers of long ago.

Not always am I picking up trash. I am driving looking for cool finds. If you see me touching it I am keeping it for my trash can. There are people dedicating their time walking and collecting trash as they go. They leave the trash bags by the parks trash cans to be collected once a day by parks service. So to make this clear the treasures that I collect for videoing purposes will mostly get recycled or trashed.
