@@y.f8139 well my argument would be dominance. Bolt Competed in 3 Olympic events. He ran in Athens in 2004 at the age of 17. After that he NEVER lost an Olympic race. He held the title for those 3 event for 13 years. Only this year will their be a new champion. Of the 9 undefeated events he broke 4 world Records. Phelps competed in 6 to 10 events more than double the events that bolt competed in. So I dont think volume is a fair argument. Bolt was far more dominant and was never defeated.

@@colleenross8752 Yeah. Also, I feel like Simone’s final gold solidified her amazing abilities all across the Artistic Gymnastics, but for that (Rio) being Ally Raisman’s last dance, and after learning what she was going through outside of Gymnastics, with wanting to get Larry Nassar behind bars for what he put her through, what he did to so many other athletes, and that al just made me think even more highly of her. I wish she would just become the head of US Gymnastics because she’s an excellent speaker but she doesn’t really want that job. I get it, it’s a lot of responsibility.

Also Majlinda Kelmendi, winning first ever medal for Kosovo in Judo, or Wu Xinjia/ Michael Phelps winning the same event four consecutive times, Van Niekerk breaking 400m WR... There are so many to choose from!

Don’t you ever propose to someone in a moment that they earned, that is not romantic, that’s some bs.

THANK YOU. YES. what a CROCK. oh my god. how selfish of him. it's not romantic. it's not sweet. it's absolutely disgusting. how dare he take that moment from her. she's worked YEARS - her entire LIFE - for that moment.

Y'all need to chill. This was He Zi's last Olympics--she already has a gold and a silver Olympics medal to her name, and this is her third one. Don't act like you know what she was feeling...what's so bad about her boyfriend proposing to her at what was basically the end of her career?

I’m pretty sure she would’ve rejected him if she did not find it romantic so stop acting like a controlling idiot who tells someone what’s romantic and what’s not

She came second. I bet the proposal overshadowed the gold medal winner and had the second place star in the spotlight way more than if she wasn’t proposed to.

Carolina Marin Olympic gold was really historic. As it was
    First Spanish medal in badminton
First European to win a badminton women's single gold.
First ever non asian badminton gold medalist in badminton womens single.
