- Dawki is known for crystal clear river water of Dawki river, we reached there at night and stayed at below mentioned hotel.
I noticed that there are not many hotels in Dawki.

Dawki Boating Point: This is about 2 km from the guest house, It is fun to do boating here, but ensure that you come reach here max by 5pm.. Plus you should know that Dawki is not as cold as Shillong, weather here is on higher side - as this is plains area. If you are coming in winters you can come any time..
If you are travelling here in summers, try coming here early in morning or evening 4 pm..

If govt wish to encourage tourism in Meghalaya then why they are try to impose permit for non Meghalayan people.I just recently saw this news.

All cities of north east India should be connected by air, rail and highway with rest of India so that high tourist revenue will be generated for India, people of those places will become rich. Development works are going on, I have seen few videos of those. Thanks a lot for showing very good places. Keep it up.

What an incredibly beautiful waterfall , makes a perfect backdrop for picnics and photography . Almost made to order - you could spend the whole day here peacefully .

Wow this place is heavenly beautiful. The crystal clear water of the river I have not seen anywhere else, the rates of food and other things are quite low and really great experience to be there especially near the waterfall. Loved & enjoyed it 👍👍❤️
