Our Ontario experience: Four or five years ago two of us flew on winter rye into standing soys with helicopter. After harvest only WR a thin stand was on poorer knolls, huge disappointment. Since fields were long time notill or VT, we figure we fed our little livestock. We either use drill (expensive) or broadcast and VT in cover crops now
Interesting I have a small plot of camelina this fall for the first time. Apparently not common here
