I've been running this team since Wednesday, and it's pretty solid. That IB on Qwil has won me several matches, but as you said, Jumpluff (and one Tropius).
I don't have a lot of pokemon built for this cup but have been having fun with Morpeko, Turt, and Jumpluff. As always, love hearing your insights, Dan.
I think a good topic would be a mid tier list of Pokémon (Pvpoke rating wise) a newer player would have access to at the start of their journey and building/playing a team around those Pokémon.
I was literally just thinking about pairing qwil and tox, but with camerupt in the lead. And I’ve got a topic idea: a twenty minute video calling out Niantic on how they need to replace their senior leadership, including throwing old man hanke out of his own company.
My game play will be up next and I forgot to mention that I accidentally had wrong move on the decidueye for a bit lol. Imma submit another team that I’m playing with now that I went 23-2 with but imma use it for a few more days before I submit.
I don't know, I usually equate core-breakers with more under the radar Pokémon. Cradily could be one but that's only assuming more people use A-Mar, which they're not doing despite its 2 ranking. Typhlosion has been scary to use with the one turn lags in play.
I was using hisui qwilfish in willpower cup with dark pulse , too bad regular qwilfish doesn't get dark pulse... Maybe scald is better over ice beam because stab but probably not
the balance in this game is just cursed. on paper water is the worst typing in this cup and grass the best, yet i see both axn and dan run double water regardless. and yeah, double typings and poison and stuff, but man... it's no surprise ground and water have such a great time if grass can't even really make an impact in this favorable cup. the top grass don't even use grass fast moves.

GG man thanks for including the game against me! 14:17

I am running the exact same team by my own thought process. If I could think like you, Dan, which is a master team builder, this means I'm improving!

Mudbois will destroy your team.
camerupt seems like an intersting one, also considering that most waters in this meta are also poison.
@ my thinking was run it ABB. You got two things weak to electric and neutral to grass so run something that can deal with both.
One Gastrodon kills this team
@@jaredbrouerius7963u know ice beam can 1 shoot gastro right?

On the bright side, color cup should make for some interesting team comps...
Everyone has toxapex . Not really
I played against you yesterday ^^
The uhh computer 🖥️ lol made me laugh so hard 🤣 u need a good vacation man, I have kids I understand
Toxapex very exciting stuff
Hahaha
I’m a legend level player currently at veteran, I have bad short term memory and I often forget how many shields opponents have left
Toxapex mirror is going to make this cup unpleasant real quick. I wonder how it would look if they banned it
That's why I run quagsire
A marowak core breaker
Typhlosion lowkey is too. Ran this team last night, saw shadow typhlosion literally 5 games in a row and that thunder punch fucked me

Ive been running a double dragon team. Working pretty well!
What's your team?
@@thalasyus there are just 3 dragons allowed: turtonator, kingdra and alolan exeggutor.
@@thalasyus turt, king, gastro
Don't fall for electrode with swift Dan, I've caught so many people with energy ball already.
Boy oh boy ... gonna be a rough couple weeks

May I please use normal abomasnow
Man I was running a great team but all I saw was morpeko and grass
i replaced toxapex with morpeko and i have regular abomasnow
Thx
